Creekside is an amazing place for anyone that is looking for a healthy, loving, supportive, and all around the best place for recovery. The house itself is absolutely beautiful and extremely well kept and clean. The staff have nothing but care in their hearts for their patients. The chefs are absolutely fantastic with their cooking and accommodations for all patients. The nursing staff with work with you and make sure you are healthy and being taken care of properly. On top of all of that there are so many activities that allow you to understand and enjoy every bit of the recovery process. Creekside changed my life in the most amazing ways, I am so thankful and grateful to have been a part of that process. If you’re looking for a recovery home that’s open, safe, and never judgmental, then this is the place for you. I 10/10 recommend this to anyone who would like the same experience I had, I promise you will not see it any other way than I did. Creekside Recovery is an absolutely amazing treatment center. The facility itself is beautiful and comfortable, and you even get your own private bedroom — no sharing, which makes a big difference when you’re focusing on recovery. The staff here are truly incredible — caring, knowledgeable, and always available when you need support. The counselors really know what they’re doing, and the nursing staff are some of the kindest people I’ve ever met. I want to give a special thank you to Eileen, Jack, Kate, Sara, Bret, and all of the nursing team — you made such a huge difference in my journey. The program is very thorough and well-structured. They take you to meetings every night, and the daily schedule keeps you engaged and focused. The food is wonderful (seriously, better than you’d expect!), and the activities are always fun — they really show you that you can have fun and enjoy life while being sober. I’m so grateful for my experience at Creekside Recovery. If you’re looking for a place that combines top-notch care, compassion, and a beautiful environment, this is the place to go.

Creekside was phenomenal! It was my first experience at a residential recovery center so I was pretty nervous not knowing what to expect but the staff genuinely cared and showed me the good in myself. From the therapist to the nurses, counselors and even the chefs, I can honestly say I grew an amazing bond with everyone there. If you or someone you know needs help, this is the right place to get it. I owe my life to this place I don’t think I would’ve stuck it out anywhere else. I’d like to personally thank each individual staff member at Creekside, you’ve all made a huge impact on my recovery and my life, thank you! Mike Denny

Other Forms of Payment

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

When addicted, quitting your drug of choice suddenly can be dangerous. That's why experts agree a medically assisted detox is the safest way to remove addictive substances from the body. Usually done in an inpatient setting, your vitals signs and overall well being are consistently monitored and rechecked in order to keep you safe and ensure the detox is successful.

Inpatient rehab provides intensive treatment for clients exiting detox, those in early recovery, and those at an elevated risk of relapse. Unlike outpatient drug rehab, clients receiving inpatient care reside at the facility for the duration of the program. The length of stay may range from two weeks to 18 months or more, depending on the client's needs and the program's design. Inpatient treatment typically involves extensive addiction education and recovery-focused life skills training.

Rehab aftercare programs offer clients in addiction recovery a robust continuum of care after clients have completed active treatment. These services address recovery as a life-long process and are designed to evolve with clients' changing needs. Clients may partner with their case managers and/or addiction recovery team to identify the rehab aftercare services that are right for them. They may receive career counseling, housing assistance, peer coaching, 12 step program induction, among many other services.

Treatments

Alcoholism, or alcohol use disorder (AUD), is defined by alcohol dependence. This is a state the body reaches when it experiences withdrawal symptoms in the absence of alcohol. A person who has AUD craves alcohol and continues to drink despite adverse consequences. Because withdrawing from alcohol can pose health risks, individuals with AUD should seek professional alcohol rehab in California to overcome their alcohol addiction. This process typically involves medical detox, rehabilitation, and maintenance.

In California, substance abuse treatment programs can help individuals with any type of substance use disorders and co-occurring conditions. These rehab programs typically encompass various levels of care, including medically assisted detox, intensive outpatient, outpatient, residential rehab, and partial hospitalization. You can expect clinicians to utilize evidence-based therapies like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and mindfulness to help you achieve and sustain your recovery. The rehab's clinical team can provide a comprehensive assessment to determine the appropriate level of care and medical support you may need.

Clinical Services

Individual therapy for drug addiction includes a customized treatment plan that considers your history and life circumstances. During your therapy sessions, the therapist helps you uncover underlying issues and triggers for addictive behavior that support a holistic approach to recovery.

During group therapy, men and women learn to express their emotions openly in a non judgmental setting. This helps you process your feelings and reduces feelings of social isolation that are often associated with addiction.

Family therapy offers a platform for members to have an open dialogue about the challenges that addiction has placed on the family unit. Through guided sessions, therapists can help families develop healthy communication skills and address unresolved issues. By working together toward a common goal, they help to support their loved one's sobriety.

Cognitive behavioral therapy in California is a method that therapists often use for the effective treatment of substance use disorders. It is based on the principle that substance abuse stems from unhelpful ways of thinking and patterns of behavior, which can be changed by helping the individual learn better ways of coping.

While participating in dialectical behavior therapy in California, you'll focus on four key areas of skill development: mindfulness, interpersonal effectiveness, emotion regulation, and distress tolerance. Treatment includes weekly individual and group sessions.

I was lucky enough to get the chance to pursue my recovery at Creekside. I am still not sure how the stars aligned to allow me the opportunity, but I will be forever grateful that they did. Not only did Creekside help me get sober and recover, but it quite literally changed and saved my life. The difference between Creekside and another option is: Alongside saving my life, it taught me how to be a better person. How to love others. How to love myself. How to feel peace. How to not live with resentment, shame, anger, anxiety and guilt. How to live healthily. How to have hope for the future again. I went into Rehab thinking the most I could gain from the experience was some sobriety; instead I left with life long friendships, a full community, tools to help me navigate myself, a deeper understanding and appreciation for the world, and most surprisingly: a sparked, genuine interest in something greater than myself. From minute one at Creekside, the Staff and the atmosphere make it clear: You are welcome. You are not beyond hope. You have a home here. All of the Staff at Creekside are Legendary. The lovely and charming “Techs” run the day-to-day logistics. They make you feel a part of the group, treat you like a real human being, keep the atmosphere inclusive, fun, bubbly and comfortable. You can talk to them about anything - they go above and beyond to make you feel at home. The Nursing staff, Therapists and Sober Coaches I believe I owe my life to. They care deeply, and are the most knowledgeable people I have ever met in the industry. They employ every angle of recovery possible without making you feel overwhelmed; and their combined knowledge provide the best recovery plan possible. It’s a hard feeling to explain on a keyboard but they genuinely make you feel like you are getting better the entire time you are there. There is something Magical about the process of healing at Creekside. The facility, amenities, food and activities are all you could possibly ask for in a Rehab facility. I knew I was lucky enough to be sent to a top tier Rehab facility - and all of the above categories blew my expectations out of the water. You get to stay in a very comfortable high end home. You get your own room. You have 5 other roommates at a time, ensuring a comfortable experience with maximum dedicated time to your recovery. Most other Rehabs you are in with 10-40 other people and it feels like a waste of time. They have professional chefs cooking you three meals a day and the food is phenomenal, nutritious and creative. You will be able to do Yoga class, sound baths, breath work sessions, gym sessions with a personal trainer, outings on the weekend, cooking classes, art classes and more. There is a massive relaxing backyard with a waterfall. I could go on and on. Rest assured, the facility is the best you can find. To anyone thinking about reaching out for help, or to anyone thinking about sending a loved one here: Do it. An unfathomable minority of Addicts get the opportunity to attend a magical, life changing, and live saving Rehab center like this. Millions of lives would be saved if every Addict had this opportunity. I am forever grateful to this place. Thank you from the bottom of my heart and soul, Creekside.
