This treatment center saved my life. And I have not been to a better treatment center than living longer. At this treatment center staff loves you until you can love your self. I want to give a special thank you to art, terry, Jeff, Jerry, Ruben, Steven, Chris, Iris, Javier, Ishmael, miss judy for being so kind with me and teaching me some new skills. and thank you to everyone else that works there. If you need the best help out there go here. If you want to make a serious turn around this is your place to go to. The location is great. It's a quiet peaceful neighborhood. They take most insurances, just not iehp and not state funded insurance (medi-cal). This place is a fortress, I have not been In a more beautiful house than this. Staff takes you on outings on the weekends and when your clear from detox they take you to meetings every day. And by the way they provide the best food. It doesn't get better than this. Love you guys !! I had an incredible stay.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

Inpatient rehab provides intensive treatment for clients exiting detox, those in early recovery, and those at an elevated risk of relapse. Unlike outpatient drug rehab, clients receiving inpatient care reside at the facility for the duration of the program. The length of stay may range from two weeks to 18 months or more, depending on the client's needs and the program's design. Inpatient treatment typically involves extensive addiction education and recovery-focused life skills training.

Clients receiving treatment at an outpatient rehab typically do not require hospitalization or intensive supervision and support. Outpatient addiction counseling and recovery education are often offered during the morning, evening, night, and weekend, allowing clients to tailor treatment to their own schedule. Partial hospitalization (PHP) and intensive outpatient (IOP) programs are the most time-intensive and are designed for clients who are at an increased relapse risk and/or who need more robust therapeutic support.

Commonly known as "day treatment," a partial hospitalization program (PHP) is an intensive form of outpatient treatment where clients meet during the day and return home in the evening. PHP treatment doesn't require 24-hour care and often serves as an alternative to inpatient hospitalization or a step-down after a residential program. With PHP treatment, you can receive daily support for 6 to 8 hours which includes evidence-based therapies and medication management. The cost of PHP treatment typically varies but averages 90 days.

When addicted, quitting your drug of choice suddenly can be dangerous. That's why experts agree a medically assisted detox is the safest way to remove addictive substances from the body. Usually done in an inpatient setting, your vitals signs and overall well being are consistently monitored and rechecked in order to keep you safe and ensure the detox is successful.

Treatments

Alcoholism, or alcohol use disorder (AUD), is defined by alcohol dependence. This is a state the body reaches when it experiences withdrawal symptoms in the absence of alcohol. A person who has AUD craves alcohol and continues to drink despite adverse consequences. Because withdrawing from alcohol can pose health risks, individuals with AUD should seek professional alcohol rehab in California to overcome their alcohol addiction. This process typically involves medical detox, rehabilitation, and maintenance.

My 35-year-old daughter has been experiencing a serious mental health crisis and trauma for several years. I found Living Longer Recovery because I believed it could provide treatment, safety, comfort and, importantly, family support. After considerable effort, my daughter willingly entered the program. Family and friends contributed financially because we believed she was finally getting the help she needed. On her first day, she left me a beautiful voicemail and sounded hopeful about her recovery. I understood communication would be limited during detox. Afterward, I heard from her several times. During one of our last conversations, however, her thoughts and speech became extremely concerning and much of what she said did not make sense. I immediately tried contacting the facility because I was concerned about her mental state and whether medication might be contributing. When no one answered, I texted the owner and documented my concerns. I received no response. By the third week, communication with my daughter stopped. I repeatedly called the facility to make sure she was safe. My calls were not returned. What concerns me most is that during her approximately 30-day involvement with this program, I never received one call from anyone I understood to be on her care team asking about her history, previous mental-health crisis, trauma, or what our family had observed before admission. I understand completely that my daughter is a 35-year-old adult and that privacy laws limit what a facility can disclose without her authorization. My concern is not that they wouldn’t give me confidential medical information. My concern is the lack of response when I was trying to PROVIDE potentially important information about her condition and wellbeing. I subsequently learned that my daughter had left/been discharged from the program without my knowledge. At the time of this review, our family cannot locate her. To my knowledge, she has no stable employment or housing in California. I am her mother, living approximately 2,000 miles away in Chicago, trying to determine whether my daughter is safe. Families considering this facility deserve to understand my experience. When a treatment program promotes “family support,” those words carry enormous meaning to families entrusting a vulnerable loved one to their care. I pray my daughter is safe. 🙏🏾💔 — A deeply concerned mother
