Accepted Insurance

PaRC – Clearlake Intensive Outpatient Program works with several private insurance providers and also accepts private payments when possible, please contact to verify your specific insurance provider.

Other Forms of Payment

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

aftercare iconAftercare Support

Completing a drug or alcohol rehab program shouldn't spell the end of substance abuse treatment. Aftercare involves making a sustainable plan for recovery, including ongoing support. This can include sober living arrangements like halfway houses, career counseling, and setting a patient up with community programs like Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) or Narcotics Anonymous (NA).

intensive-outpatient iconIntensive Outpatient

Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) are for those who want or need a very structured treatment program but who also wish to live at home and continue with certain responsibilities (such as work or school). IOP substance abuse treatment programs vary in duration and intensity, and certain outpatient rehab centers will offer individualized treatment programs.

12-step icon12-Step

12-step programs are addiction recovery models based on Alcoholics Anonymous (AA). A number of substance abuse programs (including some drug and alcohol rehab centers) use the 12 steps as a basis for treatment. Beginning steps involve admitting powerlessness over the addiction and creating a spiritual basis for recovery. Middle steps including making direct amends to those who've been hurt by the addiction, and the final step is to assist others in addiction recovery in the same way. 12-Step offshoots including Narcotics Anonymous (NA), Cocaine Anonymous (CA), Dual Recovery Anonymous (DRA), Sex and Love Addicts Anonymous (SLAA) and Gamblers Anonymous (GA).

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

During rehab in Texas, you'll deal with underlying issues that contribute to addiction. By addressing these challenges and learning healthy ways to cope with them, you'll develop strategies that help you live a drug-free lifestyle.

Many of those suffering from addiction also suffer from mental or emotional illnesses like schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, or anxiety disorders. Rehab and other substance abuse facilities treating those with a dual diagnosis or co-occurring disorder administer psychiatric treatment to address the person's mental health issue in addition to drug and alcohol rehabilitation.

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

Programs

adult-program thumbnail image

Adult Program

Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.
young-adult-program thumbnail image

Young Adult Program

Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Clinical Services

Research clearly demonstrates that recovery is far more successful and sustainable when loved ones like family members participate in rehab and substance abuse treatment. Genetic factors may be at play when it comes to drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health issues. Family dynamics often play a critical role in addiction triggers, and if properly educated, family members can be a strong source of support when it comes to rehabilitation.

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

Bay Area recovery and Mrs. Sarah helped me exponentially to regain my support system and path to being a better person. I went to rehab previously but fell back on the things I was doing that ended me up there and she taught me how to live a sober and healthy life and gave me support to be the best version of myself. And all the other group and faculty members were amazing too. Helping with much needed insight and guidance to bettering myself and my decision making and how to continue and sustain the healthy lifestyle they implemented into my life. Thank you Bay Area recovery and thank you Sarah!

Response from the owner

I am incredibly grateful for the support and guidance received from Sarah. She is compassionate and non-judgmental. Not only is Sarah exceptional but the staff as well. Their level of care and dedication is evident in everything they do, and it’s clear that they genuinely care about the well-being of each individual they work with. I highly recommend this recovery center.

I was skeptical when I arrived. plus being semi forced to be there didn't help. Within a week I related with someone similar to me and start my first real path to sobriety. I want to thank BARC for changing my life into the right direction. The staff was very understanding and helpful especially Joe who I worked with the most.

Response from the owner
Kevin,
Sometimes the last thing we think we need...is exactly what we need. Thank you for trusting us and being a part of the family!

In 2021, my loved one was admitted to this facility and, unfortunately, experienced both physical and verbal abuse from a staff member named Jay, who held a supervisory role on the floor. After learning this, I was granted permission to report the incident and promptly contacted the Admissions Director, William "Billy" Smith. While my loved one expressed that most of the staff, including Billy, were kind and friendly, the actions of Jay left a lasting and harmful impact. When I raised my concerns with Billy, it was heartbreaking to hear him deny any knowledge of a staff member named Jay, even though I had seen a review mentioning this individual within the past nine months. This denial was deeply disappointing and concerning. Jay's abusive behavior caused my loved one additional trauma, and I hope this review sheds light on the importance of accountability and safety for residents.

Response from the owner
We absolutely do not tolerate any form of abuse. Due to privacy laws, we are limited in what we can discuss. Again, we invite the both of you to meet with us so we can further address your concerns.

I just wanted to share, I have been in recovery for 3 1/2 years and recently I ran in to an old friend who was struggling with addiction and hanging out on the bottom end of life. John Hite and the team at barc helped in facilitating getting him in and getting him some help and guidance, he is currently doing well in sober living and thriving thanks so much BARC!!

I've been to eight different treatment centers and Bay Area Recovery Center is by far the best! I came in dying and just a she'll of a man. 36 days later I left LIVING, no longer just surviving. I can honestly say this place saved my life and I'm now able to be a good father, husband, soon and brother.
