Other Forms of Payment

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Financial aid can take many forms. Centers may have grants or scholarships available to clients who meet eligibility requirements. Programs that receive SAMHSA grants may have financial aid available for those who need treatment as well. Grants and scholarships can help you pai for treatment without having to repay.

Sliding scale payments are based on a client's income and family size. The goal is to make treatment affordable to everyone. By taking these factors into account, addiction recovery care providers help ensure that your treatment does not become a financial burden to you or your family, eliminating one barrier to care.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

inpatient iconInpatient

Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). Some offer both, and tailor treatment to the patient's individual requirements.

outpatient iconOutpatient

Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.

Treatments

Mental health rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from mental illnesses like bipolar disorder, clinical depression, anxiety disorders, schizophrenia, and more. Mental health professionals at these facilities are trained to understand and treat mental health issues, both in individual and group settings.

Clinical Services

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a therapy modality that focuses on the relationship between one's thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. It is used to establish and allow for healthy responses to thoughts and feelings (instead of unhealthy responses, like using drugs or alcohol). CBT has been proven effective for recovering addicts of all kinds, and is used to strengthen a patient's own self-awareness and ability to self-regulate. CBT allows individuals to monitor their own emotional state, become more adept at communicating with others, and manage stress without needing to engage in substance abuse.

Whether a marriage or other committed relationship, an intimate partnership is one of the most important aspects of a person's life. Drug and alcohol addiction affects both members of a couple in deep and meaningful ways, as does rehab and recovery. Couples therapy and other couples-focused treatment programs are significant parts of exploring triggers of addiction, as well as learning how to build healthy patterns to support ongoing sobriety.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a modified form of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), a treatment designed to help people understand and ultimately affect the relationship between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. DBT is often used for individuals who struggle with self-harm behaviors, such as self-mutilation (cutting) and suicidal thoughts, urges, or attempts. It has been proven clinically effective for those who struggle with out-of-control emotions and mental health illnesses like Borderline Personality Disorder.

Experiential therapy is a form of therapy in which clients are encouraged to surface and work through subconscious issues by engaging in real-time experiences. Experiential therapy departs from traditional talk therapy by involving the body, and having clients engage in activities, movements, and physical and emotional expression. This can involve role-play or using props (which can include other people). Experiential therapy can help people process trauma, memories, and emotion quickly, deeply, and in a lasting fashion, leading to substantial and impactful healing.

Research clearly demonstrates that recovery is far more successful and sustainable when loved ones like family members participate in rehab and substance abuse treatment. Genetic factors may be at play when it comes to drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health issues. Family dynamics often play a critical role in addiction triggers, and if properly educated, family members can be a strong source of support when it comes to rehabilitation.

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

Trauma therapy addresses traumatic incidents from a client's past that are likely affecting their present-day experience. Trauma is often one of the primary triggers and potential causes of addiction, and can stem from child sexual abuse, domestic violence, having a parent with a mental illness, losing one or both parents at a young age, teenage or adult sexual assault, or any number of other factors. The purpose of trauma therapy is to allow a patient to process trauma and move through and past it, with the help of trained and compassionate mental health professionals.

AVOID THIS PLACE at all costs. This place is by far the worst place ever. They don’t follow sanitary rules and don’t have any respect whatsoever for their patients. Unless you want to be mistreated, go to any other place.

After trying two other treatment centers in the valley, we were hesitant to get our hopes up—but Silver State truly made a difference for our teen and our family. While the beginning was rough (as any parent in this situation knows, progress isn't instant), the staff at Silver State showed patience, consistency, and a deep understanding of how to meet each patient where they are & what they need. What stood out most was how they paced the process to match what my kid could handle, rather than pushing him too fast or expecting immediate change. The team genuinely shows they care—not just in words, but through their actions. From intake coordinator to support staff, everyone treated our family with respect and compassion. Silver State also makes sure families are involved in the process, which helped us feel more empowered and better equipped to support our teen. The hands-on approach to family communication and guidance was something we didn’t experience elsewhere. We’re incredibly grateful for the growth we’ve seen in our kid and finally feel like we’re on a hopeful path forward. Silver State gave us that chance—and for that, we’re truly thankful. Special BIG thank you to Ari, Russ & Katie!

Response from the owner

Your words about patience, consistency, and family involvement mean the world to our team. Teen recovery is a journey that requires collaboration, and we’re so glad you felt respected and supported along the way. We’ll be sure to pass your special thanks on to Ari, Russ, and Katie—they’ll be thrilled to know they made such a difference.

I came here when this facility was new and had both eating disorder and substance abuse treatments! I stayed for three months and was only ever treated with kindness; the staff helped remind me why I was trying to recover every day. I had many medical issues while at Robindale along with my other disabilities, they always accommodated me and helped me seek higher levels of care when needed! (Including and emergency stay to remove my appendix!) The kitchen staff is truly amazing! I have severe food anxiety due to severe celiac disease and I panic when others prepare my meals, the staff not only sat down with me and let me read every ingredient they used but I was also taken back into the kitchen to see where and how my meals were prepared! They even had a separate pan and cooking utensils specifically for my food and are VERY educated on celiac disease. Thanks to the amazing staff I’ve now been in recovery from anorexia for over a year! There is also an amazing alumni group that meets on zoom every week and if it wasn’t for their support I probably would have relapsed multiple times by now. Thank you Virtue!! Should I ever need help again, (fingers crossed I don’t!), I would choose Virtue all over again!

Response from the owner
Thank you, Loriann, for sharing your inspiring journey and kind words! We're thrilled our dedicated team could support your recovery. It’s wonderful to hear about your progress and experience. Wishing you continued strength and health!

My experience has been amazing. I can't pick one employee that stands out, I am going to tell you about a few that stood out to me.. Bruce- uplifting, motivating, encouraging.. even when I wasn't feeling well, he still encouraged me each day. Bobby B- that's BIG DOG!! I really appreciate his energy, his genuine care for each client, and making me feel good each day. Rob!!!! He checked on me, walked with me, and reminded me why I was doing this...we are all the same even though we were at different walks of life. Miss Stacey, great counselor, motivator, encourager. Diana- sat with me, encouraged me to stay when I wanted to leave. Nurse Cathy- she is kind, gentle, compassionate and really cares about each client and their individual needs. Doctors were amazing and helped me with my detox from opiates. They didn't judge even when my detox took a lot longer than usual. Thank you for those of you I left out... I can't forget the amazing chef: I am vegetarian and dairy-free and she met all my needs and then some. I gained a few pounds and feel great!! Thanks again! Jill M.

Virtue Recovery Center in Las Vegas, NV helped give me the tools to restart my life at the age of 51. During the entirety of my 30 day in-patient stay, I was treated with dignity and respect. The luxury rehab setting at their Corbett location offers facilities and amenities that are best in class for the Las Vegas area. I can’t say enough about the amazing staff and specifically my Virtue Recovery Center Therapist, Ms. Rita. Her direct and no-nonsense approach provides the foundation for successful outcomes for those that are willing to put in the work. I hope to never go back, but I’m proud to now recognize 75 days of being sober that would not have been possible without Ms. Rita and Virtue Recovery Center.

Response from the owner

I looked forward to seeing who was on the next shift to start again sharing my progress while receiving words of encouragement. Please, if you are looking for a friend or family member, choose Virtue. They helped change my thinking and my world.

They have truly help open my eyes and really want my sobriety to get there and stay there and they also help me realize that's okay cuz we all make mistakes so it's okay if you sleep just don't stay down get back up and try again until you're able to stay and surprise but they do have the most patience see that they're not too long into their own sobriety for them to be there they have the most patience with those that are just now starting out that didn't even know there are people out there like them to help so I send out much love

Response from the owner
Thank you Andrea for the 5 star review! Virtue Recovery Las Vegas appreciates the positive feedback!
