Vibrant Health Family Health Care is a comprehensive medical clinic that offers medical and dental care as well behavioral health services. Vibrant Health staff help with mental health needs for individuals of any age. They offer services in English and Spanish.

The behavioral health specialists work with individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, isolation, trauma, hyperactivity, self-harm, substance abuse and other behavioral issues. These sessions can take place in person or through Zoom.

For those who are struggling with substance abuse, the trained staff at Vibrant Health can help individuals understand the root causes of their addictive behaviors. Together, they can work to develop healthy coping skills, stress and anger management techniques and healthy relationships. If necessary, clients may be referred to other community drug rehab programs.

Vibrant Health Family Health Care accepts most insurance plans such as Magellan Health, Kaiser Permanente, Bright Health, Wellmark, HCSC and TRICARE. If you have a copay, you will need to pay it during the visit. Contact your insurance provider to verify coverage as out of network benefits can vary. They also offer a sliding fee discount program.

They dont answer the phone. They dont respond to messages in the patient portal. Quick to send you a bill tho, pretty disappointing.

Gave 2 stars because Naomi, admissions at the front desk is really sweet and everytime I come in the nurses in the back are super friendly and fun to chat with.Nurse Taylor is cool and knowledgeable, but she doesn't always follow up like she says she will.Dr. Zaulke (I think that is how you spell her last name)... They call her Dr Z... Anyway, she is really nice, patient and will listen to you, but she is pretty booked up and not always at the southwest Blvd site.The location of the office is at a convenient distance from my home, but is placed in front of some old industrial building and there are always big trucks coming in/out. I swear I don't think it is healthy to be at that location nor is it aesthetically appealing for a clinic/medical office.I hate when you call you have to leave a VM, and pray you catch them when they return your call hours later. It's is annoying. The second front desk woman (white female) is so freaking rude and condescending. She looks like she doesn't want to be there and presents herself as if she is hiding from the patients behind the computer screen. She doesn't listen and is very passive aggressive. I can't stand her. I'm glad they've moved her to the back to check out patients instead, but once again she hides in the corner in the back area. My question to her is "Girl why are you working there?!?"There is always some weird foul smell by the check out area as well..Really strange.I've recently sent a message via Vibrant portal 3 days ago inquiring about a test I took coming up a week ago now, that typically takes just 1-2 days to provide a report. I haven't received a response to my message yet, nor have I received my results yet. I am still sitting and waiting for something that more than likely needs to get treated.Definitely considering switching somewhere else. This is ridiculous.

The Nurse Practitioners are very good here.But the nurse assistants can be very rude.Offuce personnel leaves you hanging on hold over the phone.Billing gives out incorrect information that can cause problems

Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Medically Assisted Detox

Drug and alcohol addiction often takes a heavy toll on one’s body. Over time, a physical dependence can develop, meaning the body physiologically needs the substance to function. Detox is the process of removing drugs and/or alcohol from the body, a process that can be lethal if mismanaged. Medical detox is done by licensed medical professionals who monitor vital signs and keep you safe, healthy, and as comfortable as possible as you go through detox and withdrawal.

Outpatient

Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.

Intensive Outpatient

Intensive Outpatient programs are for those who want or need a very structured treatment program but who also wish to live at home and continue with certain responsibilities (such as work or school). IOP substance abuse treatment programs vary in duration and intensity, and certain outpatient rehab centers will offer individualized treatment programs. The Intensive Outpatient Program gives patients the chance to participate in a structured treatment plan part-time while they transition back to home and work or other responsibilities.

Adult Program

Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.

Individual therapy for drug and alcohol addiction treatment provides you with targeted support. Your therapist is able to address the unique aspects and triggers of your addiction so you can develop healthy coping strategies and set achievable goals. These are essential components of a successful journey to recovery.

Substance abuse treatment typically includes group therapy where you can learn essential coping skills that help you navigate challenges within the community and relapse prevention strategies that support sustainable recovery. Group therapy offers you a platform to share your stories with your peers who understand the journey you are on.

I received excellent care. Honestly felt like they wanted to help me. Very nice staff. Received my medication from their pharmacy. Everything was very affordable. I would highly recommend Vibrant to anyone who is needs to see a doctor.

After trying out several PCP’s after relocating to Kansas City, I finally feel like I found the right one! Dylan Severson was thorough and addressed all my concerns during my initial visit. Would highly recommend this practice and particularly Dylan to anyone, but especially anyone searching for a PCP that is part of the LGBTQIA+ community. Thanks again to everyone at this practice!
