Addiction Treatments

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

Drug rehab in Florida provides quality treatment to help individuals overcome dependency related to a wide range of addictive substances. Programs address both the physical and mental aspects of addiction in order to help you make a full recovery.

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

Programs

Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Clinical Services

Research clearly demonstrates that recovery is far more successful and sustainable when loved ones like family members participate in rehab and substance abuse treatment. Genetic factors may be at play when it comes to drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health issues. Family dynamics often play a critical role in addiction triggers, and if properly educated, family members can be a strong source of support when it comes to rehabilitation.

Starting my mental health journey during one of the most difficult times in my life, I couldn’t have asked for a better guide than Christian Lopez. He takes the time to truly listen, never rushing, and always making me feel heard and understood. His active listening and thoughtful support have helped me improve my quality of life in ways I didn’t think possible. I would choose Christian and this place over and over again—10/10. I couldn’t be happier with the care I’ve received here.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 A True Miracle Worker - Christian Lopez is the BEST! I have had my share of psychiatrists and mental health providers over the years, and while they were all fairly decent, none have even come close to the care I received from Christian Lopez, a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner at My Psychiatrist in Oakland Park, Florida. From the moment I met Christian, the experience felt like an absolute miracle. He is completely different from all the rest. I finally felt like I was in a room with someone who truly and deeply cared about my health and well-being. Christian is incredibly kind, profoundly understanding, genuinely caring, and exceptionally knowledgeable. But what is MOST IMPORTANT is that he HEARD ME. He didn't just listen; he absorbed what I said and acted on it. I can honestly say that as of today, I am a truly new person. He did exactly what all the others promised but consistently failed to deliver. If you are searching for that special person who truly listens and cares—the one who can make a real difference—this is the company and the provider you need to see. One visit with Christian Lopez, and you will understand exactly why I had to leave this enthusiastic 5-star review. Thank you, Christian. Since I met you, I've become a new person. You are simply the best!

Its rewarding and relieving to have someone who listens, not just hearing. And to chat like we r friends. Which we are… Its more of a mini reunion every month. Good stuff indeed…
