They opened at 9 I'm literally in the parking lot at 9:35am March 8th,2025 and THE DOCTOR IS NOT HERE!! the receptionist says the doctor not here and she doesn't even know when shes going to be in!! So if you come here you will just be sitting because apparently staff comes in when they feel like it and not when scheduled!

In and out with my 2 year old today. Looked her over and even gave her something for her fever while we waited for the doctor. Was basically dismissed at Hurley 2 days ago but thankfully they checked everything out, found out why my Little has been miserable for days and, called all the right meds in for her. Staff was nice and friendly. My only complaint would be that I live a block over and watch staff take breaks by the back fence. So many of them toss their garbage and cigarette butts right over the fence without a second thought. I am one of the few people who pick up the random trash on Gladwin and Cottage Grove area.Update: 03/01/2025 - They are good in a pinch I guess if you need a note for school or work. They tried to say my little guys fever of 102.4 F that was there for almost a week was from a tooth that was there for weeks but wasn't "all the way down". Smh. Made them swab him for flu, pneumonia, and rsv because they weren't going to. Luckily those were negative. Went to PCP when we were able to. All in all... I had to go to get a school note.

Addiction Treatments

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

Drug rehab in Michigan provides personalized treatment to help individuals break this cycle and regain control of their lives. Treatment methods are used in various levels of care, including inpatient rehab, partial hospitalization programs, intensive outpatient programs, and standard outpatient treatment.

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

Programs

adult-program thumbnail image
Adult Program
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.

Clinical Services

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

Staff is respectful and very detailed. Better than going to hurley to wait 10 hours for nothing. Only thing that could use some changing is the rude cell phone signs in the rooms.

I wish I could give this place negative stars. This is the worst UC facility I've ever experienced. The first horrible experience I had was tight at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, where they actually slid a nebulizer across the floor that I had to hook up myself when I was in the middle of an asthma attack. Today's experience wasn't as bad because I just left. I came in when they opened having an asthma exacerbation, visibly struggling to breathe. The receptionist appeared annoyed and told me sharply, ”Sign in if you wanna be seen.” why else would I go to urgent care at 9am on a Tuesday? Then she said, ”Just so you know, they're not gonna be seeing patients until 9:30 maybe 10.” If you're gonna have some weird, possibly life-threatening policies, at least be professional about it. Do not go here if you care about your health. I hope there is no worse urgent care clinic than this. This experience made my condition worse and I ended up have to do that thing I was trying to avoid, which is go to the ER.

The staff was friendly but confused. They told me my prescription should be at the pharmacy when I got there but they didn't even call it in. I called them back and waited another half hour before checking again and still nothing. They weren't busy so I'm not understanding why it's taking so long to call it in

If I could rate 0 stars I would. Front desk lady was extremely rude and unprofessional about everything and seemed to have attitude because she’s upset with her job. Most definitely needs an evaluation on her and she needs to be let go. White lady, heavy set, had red hair and glasses
