I grew up in Livonia on the edge of Westland and Garden City. My family has been to all the hospitals in the area for various reasons and we all choose St Marys over the others.My son came in with severe abdominal pain (appendicitis) and they got him back right away! I was so impressed with their efficiency in assessing his pain, testing and quick surgery.Recently they were amazing in helping with my neighbor who was there for 3 weeks. I highly recommend them. I dont understand the poor ratings.

Our daughter at 8 months pregnant was rushed to St. Mary's in Livonia (Now Trinity Health) for an emergency C-Section. I can not say enough about the staff in the Birthing Center in their ability to get her into the operating room promptly and successfully perform the C-Section giving us a beautiful 5lb baby girl. The personal touch and attention especially the after care the four days they were in the hospital was second to none. We are so grateful for all the Birthing Center staff at St. Mary's that took great care of our daughter and grand daughter. Thank You!!!!

Had a great experience with the entire staff! My 8yr old son needed help urgently, I live nearby and was aware of them, but usually went to my pediatrician with my son's issues, I wish I could remember all there names. From the gentleman at the intake, the nurse, the Dr. And the social worker. All were very kind, all seemed very caring and sensitive to my son's needs, they did more in 3 hours than 2 years of therapy, high price psychiatrists, and multiple visits to an ER did ever. Dr. VIJAYAKUMA, Thank you for the call to my pediatrician! And the consultation with her! Wonderful experience. Calm, kind, helpful staff members. They let us know the process ahead of time and made sure it was understood and agreed upon. It took a little over two hours - which is very worth it when any other psych has a month plus waiting list. Medication was received and a plan put together for follow up care. Very pleased.

Theresa, I think she s the office manager, is the best. She does so much to try and coordinate everything for patients. From billing discrepancies to scheduling multiple therapists she takes care of it all. I would have gave up therapy if it wasn t for her determination in making it work for my kids and myself. Make sure to find the right therapist for you. Cheryl is highly recommended by me for ANYONE; lovely lady. She has helped me with moving past my family and personal problems. Stacy was not a great experience for me. She treated me too childlike although I'm 17 and kept forgetting my details and had to check her notes for basic info on me. She also used a "get to know you" ball with questions for three sessions in a row while giving me no real help. She is probably more suited to older clients.

I was seen by Alan Griffith for 17 years off and on. I had several issues and went for depression and anxiety. He helped me so much especially when dealing with coworkers that took advantage of my people pleasing self. He was also a great help to myself and husband when it came to dealing with our young kids up through the teenage years. When I met him, I didn t even have a tool box let alone tools for figuring out problems. I had absolutely no self-esteem and he really helped me by giving me the acronym ICCIMOBI= I can choose in my own best interest. That if I was having a hard to saying no that I could say I would think about it then, figure a way out of it. He also taught me to always have plan A, B & C.= A I ask my friend to meet up with me to go see a movie, B if they can t go, I could ask someone else or go alone, and plan C choose something to do just for myself to make me happy like arts or reading. This is something I still use till this day 17 years later, and I teach it to others. I consider myself totally blessed to have had such a great therapist. The psychiatrists were wonderful as well. The office staff back then was Sheryl or Lee at the front desk, they were ALWAYS so kind and helpful, my messages always got thru promptly. I highly recommend Alan Griffith .

I have been a client here for three years. The receptionist and front office staff have always been respectful and helpful. I have witnessed others giving them a hard time and being difficult. Respect is a two-way street.Nicole Bryant is absolutely fabulous - I could not ask for a better therapist! Dr. Glitz and I discuss treatment options and we discuss her recommendations. She does run behind at times but I know that is because some clients need a bit more time than others and she is very thorough. I never feel rushed when I'm meeting with her.Note: Mental health providers in Michigan are understaffed and stretched thin. Delays and wait times are common with almost every provider nowadays. Extending a little post-pandemic grace goes a long way.

This place was a pivotal part of my recovery journey. I was here twice, once in September 2019 and once in March 2023 (which was my last time in rehab). I ve been to several different rehabs all over the state and I ll say this:Brighton isn t the nicest facility, they don t have the best food, but Brighton has THE BEST therapy, therapist, and THERE is where you get some of the most one-on-one time with your therapist. They give you real thoughtful work to do on your own and hold you accountable to change and doing the work if you say you really want it. I Was a patient here 5 years ago I started drinking at the age of 14 and got into other stuff at 19. I didn't know how to live life without a buffer Brighton gave me the tools to begin the recovery process I am still clean and sober after a horrible detox from barbiturates and Suboxone, I am thankful and grateful everyday that I made the decision to call and ask Brighton for help. Best experience for recovery in the state in my opinion. Food is great, plenty of activities, outside time, basketball and other enjoyable options. The classes were amazingly enjoyable and informative. The staff and cooks were always helpful , kind. They offer AA or NA meetings. If you re struggling with any substance abuse you owe it to yourself to at least check them out. Don t hesitate to start your journey to sobriety. You ll thank yourself later.

Has great structured care! I moved from Portland Metro Treatment center and felt much more at ease having a clinic near my home! Made work easier. Dr. didn't give too high or low of doses. Felt a lot more stable on the MME than other treatment options.

Hopefully you don t have to go to the ER on Sunday, not because it s busy but apparently they forget to staff the hospitals on Sundays. Brought my dad in around 10:45 am, they ran 3 tests and said they are going to admit him to give him the urgent treatment he needs. As I type this it s 10:30pm still waiting to be admitted this is stupid. The ER had a few other patients for most the day. Staff has been friendly and professional but watching someone sit in a bed and suffer for 12 hours knowing we are at the place that is designed to help is kind of ridiculous.Edited this the next Sunday because my father is still here:I changed it from 1 to 4 stars. Once admitted the staff at the hospital was amazing. The nurses, nurses assistants and the doctors were all amazing. Nobody was rushed and they took amazing care of him.
