They should have better communication with the person who takes the patient to their hospital, whether the father or mother

Phone system not apt for receiving the amount of calls from 7pm to 8pm to talk to loved ones. The wait is horrible to then get cut off, and as a result, the available hour is then over and stuck playing the same game the following night hoping you ll get through the phone system to a family member. This has been going on for a long time and no remedy appears to be in sight!

Other Forms of Payment

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Financial aid can take many forms. Centers may have grants or scholarships available to clients who meet eligibility requirements. Programs that receive SAMHSA grants may have financial aid available for those who need treatment as well. Grants and scholarships can help you pai for treatment without having to repay.

Medicare is a federal program that provides health insurance for those 65 and older. It also serves people under 65 with chronic and disabling health challenges. To use Medicare for addiction treatment you need to find a program that accepts Medicare and is in network with your plan. Out of pocket costs and preauthorization requirements vary, so always check with your provider.

Military members, veterans, and eligible dependents have access to specific insurance programs that help them get the care they need. TRICARE and VA insurance can help you access low cost or no cost addiction and mental health treatment. Programs that accept military insurance often have targeted treatment focused on the unique challenges military members, veterans, and their families face.

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient
Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.
medically-assisted-detox iconMedically Assisted Detox
Drug and alcohol addiction often takes a heavy toll on one's body. Over time, a physical dependence can develop, meaning the body physiologically needs the substance to function. Detox is the process of removing drugs and/or alcohol from the body, a process that can be lethal if mismanaged. Medical detox is done by licensed medical professionals who monitor vital signs and keep you safe, healthy, and as comfortable as possible as you go through detox and withdrawal.
intensive-outpatient iconIntensive Outpatient
Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) are for those who want or need a very structured treatment program but who also wish to live at home and continue with certain responsibilities (such as work or school). IOP substance abuse treatment programs vary in duration and intensity, and certain outpatient rehab centers will offer individualized treatment programs.
inpatient iconInpatient
Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). Some offer both, and tailor treatment to the patient's individual requirements.

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

drugs iconDrug Addiction

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

Programs

adult-program thumbnail image
Adult Program
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.

Clinical Services

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

It was horrible, my psychologist mentioned it to me and I was admitted voluntarily and it was the worst mistake I could have made, they put me in a (room) with 4 people getting rid of addiction in a room that didn't even have a bed because the place was full whe had to sleep in a movie room. They locked me in a (quiet) place which I wasn't. I suffer from severe panic attacks and that place raised my anxiety to a horrible point. They didn't help at all because I felt very bad during the night, I made signals to the camera for hours at 2am and nothing, they didn't even come to check, nor did they give therapy, it was a complete disaster and dirty, but the food was cold, apparently no one was paying attention to the more signals I made to the camera for long hours. If I could give this place less than 1 star I would do it. It was a horrible experience and I had to ask for my discharge because I thought it was a good place and going into it voluntarily would be something good for my well-being and with a pool it was great which neither therapy nor the pool let us use. In fact, during the time I was there I came out with worse anxiety than when I came in. I don't recommend it to anyone who suffers at least from anxiety or a panic attack and if you go voluntarily I recommend you go to another one where they do keep an eye on one. One thinks that it goes for the best and ends worse than when it started. I hope that someone who goes through the same thing as me reads this first before entering a place like this since they had us in a place where even the bathroom for one to use there were 4 people outside and I had to leave the door open because it closed and no one was watching. And honestly so much more to say but lets leave it at that a place that you go that is supposed to (help) people only makes them worse it was the worst experience of my life and never going there again and will do everything to spread the word so everyone knows.

If you have to bring a loved one to this place just know they don’t have enough space for everyone but they still are going to want the hospital to be full at all times for lucrative purposes. There is not enough pillows for all the patients, nor towels or blankets. Make sure your loved one is well taken care of because the staff will not even blink an eye. A Generalist Dr will medicate them out the blue. People here take their jobs as serious as they feel on that day. They lack maturity for this job. If you bring a minor, they will Not do their job on calling the parents for updates. Parent has to get their own updates by force. In fact, they might even leave the patients in a “holding” area until is lucrative enough to finally “admit” them (a week may pass before that). Patient will not receive treatment on “holding” and staff will not call you nor you can call your family member. They don’t follow protocols, only the ones that work for them. They break the law a lot without noticing. Specially the non discriminatory laws regarding religious freedom, freedom of speech , and the rights of minors/parents and people with disabilities. DO BETTER.
