While traveling, I hurt my foot and thought that I might have broken a bone. I was lucky to see my private doctor and he ordered xrays. We arrived at the emergency room, were checked in, xrayed and given a copy of the xrays to take to the doctor, all in less than a half hour. We were stunned at how quickly we were taken care of. The staff was so attentive and caring.

Not sure why all the bad reviews. Probably just people that need to learn to be grateful. But who knows!? Anyway, this place is great. Everyone is friendly. If there are issues they work to resolve them. I've never been able to get this much help all in one place. This organization is truly a blessing that I'm immensely grateful for. I'd recommend them to anyone that's struggling with anything.

I cannot comment on the actual services provided by this agency. However, I have called and spoken with the front desk in regards to clients already receiving services. Every time I call to request information, I am greeted by warm staff who are pleasant to speak with and provide excellent assistance to whatever my inquiry was. I have never had a negative experience with the front desk staff at this agency.

This is coming from someone who stayed a week. Mr. Jimmy had amazing food and Mr. Corey, Ms. Tabitha was positive except for when she called a girls sister annoying because she was sick and Ms. Tabitha was making excuses for why her sister couldn't talk. It was very hard to leave because I made great friends and an even better roommate. My roommate was always talking to everyone about anything and I loved it. Of course I missed my other friends but I missed her more. There was also a non-English speaker who they would only include if ms. Lydia was in. I also know Mr. Michael's grandson.

Before I was disabled
I cried for God
I needed it's love
I prayed for the spirit of God
I stood in front of the tv
I placed my hand on my forehead
I felt a tingling sensation enter my forehead
At the same moment the TV started to fizz out black and white.
Slowly the tingling spered down to my mid body as the tv fizzed out completely in perfect syncronization
Suddenly WAM a rush unlike anything I have ever felt shot through my body
At the same moment the TV went pitch black
I was frozen the entire time with my hand on my forehead staring at the screen
Then my body went back to a complete tingling and the screen went to a black and white fizz.
Slowly everything's faded back to normal and
I had been baptized with God's very soul
It has guided me ever since.
When I fall away it guides me back stronger than afore because facing trouble and overcoming makes us stronger.
I HAD FALLEN AWAY FROM GOD BECAUSE OF BENZOS AND Loretta MIGHT HAVE literally SHAVED MY LIFE TELLING ME TO JOURNAL WHAT WAS GET ON WITH ME. THIS SIMPLE ACT HELPED ME COMUNICATE WITH MY DRS WHAT WAS GOING ON WITH ME AND I JOURNLRD MY MEDCINE TIMES AND DOSES. IF IT WASN'T FOR THIS I MAY HAVE ACIDENTLY TAKEN TOO MUCH MEDICINE AND DANIEL GOT ME TO READ THE BIBLE AGAIN. THANK YOU DANIEL AND LORETTA. Very efficient and polite group of gentlemen. They removed 3 large pieces of furniture and took them to the dump for me. Because it didn’t take a full hour they asked if there were any other things I needed done which was appreciated even though I didn’t need anything else done. I would definitely hire them again.

Heartland is amazing. I was an OG for a year and three months. For all the people talking crap on my home, keep your mouth shut unless you want your teeth busted out. Heartland is by far the BEST residential and hospital in the state of Missouri. It’s been about 2 years since I was last hospitalized here and I’ve been to 50+ hospitals. The staff are amazing from the psychiatrist and on floor staff and nurses to the behind the scenes staff like the cafeteria and housekeeping they all care so much about patients and there well-being. Group therapy sessions here are very beneficial including animal therapy, dbt, recreational, cognitive, and maybe more that I just don’t remember. I personally think it’s awful to send kids under the age of 8 to a psychiatric hospital but this hospital is amazing with young children and the only place I would ever allow my own kid to go to. ( not that I actually have a kid.) there’s two playgrounds, a bowling alley, a game room, horses, a splash pad, tons of activities, a gym, a art room, and more. You can have your own clothes and shoes ( excluding clothing with profanity, illegal references, and strings), blankets, stuffed animals, books, pictures, fidgets. Their residential program is not one I’ve been in but as a teen with freinds who have almost all been in that program they all say it’s the most beneficial and life changing experience. I was unfortunately their for Christmas, but honestly I had an amazing day. We had lots of good and real presents, snacks, meals, activities, and chill time. It was just as good as any Christmas I’ve ever had minus the family. For parents with little ones they will not ruin Santa for your kids. If you have to choose one place for your kid or self to go to I would 1000000% recommend here.

First I want to say that most people do not "want" to be hear, so its going to be difficult to give something five stars. This isn't a vacation, its a hospital that provides help to those who need it. This is something it does extremely well at. My daughter loved the staff and said they made a hard program much more tolerable. She loved the staff and misses them still, but they provided the help she needed. I hope we never return, but if ever considering a place, please consider Heartland!!! Also shout out to Rachel, who I don't believe is ever "offwork" it could be bright and early in the morning or 11 at night and shed respond to an email from us without hesitation. Always there to help us along the way and of course help my daughter.
