Commenting as a family member to a patient of PFH, currently!*I had a friend who also went to pfh to get clean about 7 years ago and the change in this place (from 7 years ago to now) is nothing but amazing!The staff are ALL caring, loving, people who want nothing but the best for everyone who steps foot inside this building!*I would suggest before arriving for your stay that you call and verify what items you are able to bring and what items aren't accepted.Ask about possible medications and scripts your doctor may have you on - they do give some medications and you are even allowed to have some items such as hygiene and OTC meds such as Tylenol.I'd recommend having some cash or change as well, they have a vending machine you'll get access to.You might also get to go on a day trip to Walmart, so if you'd like to spend some money at Walmart - you'll need to bring some! The last thing I can truly suggest is.... arrive with an open mind and an open heart to allow these loving people to help you become a better/healthier version of yourself.Your loved one deserves their love/help to get clean and live a life they are proud of! PFH is a great place to go to if you want to get sober and start your life on the right path. They have a structured and routine environment. The staff are attentive to client needs while providing information to which I can use to maintain sobriety. I ve never experienced a setting in which clients bond and trusted each other. Unfortunately, I went through a difficult split up with my children s mother, and was forced to do paid visitation with my kids. Bartlesville is about an hour away from where I live, so I wasn t happy about that. After the first visit, I was glad this was the place that had been chosen. Kristina, who is our supervisor is incredibly compassionate and sweet. Everyone seems to take a sincere interest in helping the clients they provide services to, and if anyone finds themselves in a tough spot like I did, this is 100% the place I would refer them to. The surgical staff was incredibly knowledgeable and kind. It s the best of all the hospitals where I have had orthopedic surgeries. Our nursing staff is the very best. Genie and colleagues never disappoint and work hard daily to make sure I get what I need. Beautiful facility. Friendly staff and counselors. AMAZING food. The only thing negative I would have to say is it s a very expensive program for just 30 days. They give you a lot of freedom, which can be a good or bad thing, depending on how bad you really want to get sober. You can force a horse to the river, but you can t make it drink. Other than that, I had a great experience here.

I had a terrible experience with my first child but the changes this place has made are incredible couldn t have asked for a better experience bringing my 2nd baby into this world!! Everyone was very comforting and was very attentive to my babies, my husbands and my needs!! Everybody was very informative too making sure I understood everything bout my care plan and my discharge care too! The employees in labor and delivery definitely went above and beyond their job requirements!! Highly recommend the womens center for having your baby!

I'm originally from Phoenix and after taking my Grandfather to the VA and enduring the wait and poor service, I decided to just use my insurance. I was in my 60s and living in Winfield, Kansas before friends here urged me to use the VA. I have COPD so I decided to try Robert Dole. I did, and have been so impressed by the care and treatment that I have received from them that I regret not using the VA earlier. The Doctors, my Care Team, along with the other service providers at the VA are great.

I was recently seen in the ER at the VA. I had bad edema in my legs with fluid buildup in my abdomen. I was seen immediately and the ER team ran possibly every test and procedure they could to get to the root cause. They treated me so well there. I was treated poorly about 10 years ago there, but they have definitely changed my views of them. After my visit they had already set up two Dr appointments for me and sent me home with medication. Thank you so much ER evening staff you guys are wonderful
