Very bad service. They don't answer your calls, and when they do, they pass the call on to you, but they don't answer either. A very bad experience for a new hospital.

Accepted Insurance

Jackson Behavioral Health Hospital works with several private insurance providers and also accepts private payments when possible, please contact to verify your specific insurance provider.

Other Forms of Payment

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Medicare is a federal program that provides health insurance for those 65 and older. It also serves people under 65 with chronic and disabling health challenges. To use Medicare for addiction treatment you need to find a program that accepts Medicare and is in network with your plan. Out of pocket costs and preauthorization requirements vary, so always check with your provider.

Military members, veterans, and eligible dependents have access to specific insurance programs that help them get the care they need. TRICARE and VA insurance can help you access low cost or no cost addiction and mental health treatment. Programs that accept military insurance often have targeted treatment focused on the unique challenges military members, veterans, and their families face.

Addiction Treatments

Treatments

Mental health rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from mental illnesses like bipolar disorder, clinical depression, anxiety disorders, schizophrenia, and more. Mental health professionals at these facilities are trained to understand and treat mental health issues, both in individual and group settings.

Today my 86-year-old mother was brought to Jackson Hospital South Emergency Department by rescue at 1:00 pm. She presented with fever, tachycardia, low oxygen levels, and tested positive for COVID-19. She also suffers from dementia and Alzheimer’s disease, which further increase her vulnerability and the need for timely medical care. As of 4:00 a.m., my mother has still not been admitted to a room to receive COVID-19 treatment. We have been informed that no rooms are available. While she has been stabilized in the emergency department, this prolonged delay is extremely concerning and unacceptable given her advanced age, underlying conditions, and fragile medical state. Appropriate measures must be taken to ensure that patients in such critical condition receive urgent care and proper placement without unnecessary delays.

Just called to see how a co worker was doing which was admitted a few days ago for abdominal pain. I got all the info to call him at his room but couldn't get a hold of him. Tried this afternoon and got the rudest questions from a Albert Capotes that works in that tower for that hospital wing transferring the calls. Asking me for my info and my phone number which I gladly provided. As of the result of the conversation he ended with I will not transfer your call. Guy must of wanted to be a cop but never made the cut and had to settle for a desk job transferring calls at a hospital. How the reputation and grade of such a providing hospital can be tarnished by one single pos individual. I will continue contacting the hospital in regards that is power trips like this antlike individual should not be tolerated it and the hospital managerial staff should take action against such tyrants like Albert Capotes.

NO VENGAN AQUi NUNCA

Response from the owner
