About the Facility
Counseling Associates is a State Licensed and Court approved Agency located in Joliet, Illinois. Counseling Associates specializes in DUI and SAP DOT Evaluations, classes, and treatment.
The outpatient program is best suited for individuals who do not need a high degree of structure and accountability in order to succeed with treatment. This program offers evaluations, SAP/DOT addiction counseling, mental health counseling, anger management services, DUI services, individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy, and continuing care.
Once a person progresses through the outpatient program, he or she may move into an aftercare phase of treatment that allows the individual to reduce the frequency of their treatments each month.
Counseling Associates can be contacted to learn more about the fees of their programs and insurance options. If individuals want to use insurance for any kind of treatment, they may contact their insurance provider to learn about coverage. This is helpful prior to starting treatment because out of network benefits may vary.

Levels of Care
Outpatient
Clients in outpatient rehab receive a variety of services based on their unique and evolving needs. Typical outpatient treatment modalities include individual, group, and family counseling, recovery-focused life skills training, and community reintegration support. Many programs also provide medication assisted treatment (MAT) for clients recovering from alcohol and/or opioid dependency. Clients exiting inpatient treatment or those who are at an elevated risk of relapse may engage in more robust treatment, such as intensive outpatient (IOP) programming.
