About Transitional Living Communities – Dana House

They utilize counseling, relapse prevention classes, drug testing, and 12-Step meetings to help you reach recovery. Their program measures treatment progress in three stages. As you move on to each level, you gain more privileges and independence.

In the first two weeks of treatment, they only allow you to leave the facility to attend 12-Step meetings and find employment. Once you find a job, a 12-Step home group, and a sponsor, you’ll progress to level one. At this level, you can leave the property alone while adhering to a curfew.

After you’ve achieved level one’s requirements for 30 days, you advance to level two. You’ll have more privileges, like a later curfew as well as weekend and overnight passes.

What stands out most to me is their treatment approach. They offer the ideal balance of autonomy and support in each stage to help you gain discipline. Their structured program provides the tools to reach long term recovery while working on yourself. You develop a healthy routine to carry on in daily life after treatment.

Let's talk about the level of respect that they give here. If I was able to give us a 0 star, it would be a negative 5 because 1 whenever you're trying to go in for sober living it doesn't matter what you are or who you are, if you hear somebody yell queer as loud as they can that's messed up don't go here. Rude, disrespectful, and downright deceitful. They will test you with a test strips that are going to pop false positives, 90% of the time if you're on medication and they don't care about the love of respect, they give you and if you have an ROI which stands for release of information, they will outright which is wrong.

Plain and Simple. TLC saved my life! After 45 year of Drug and Alcohol abuse I reached out and got the help I needed at TLC. TLC had the programming and help that got through to me and allowed me to see what I was doing to myself and my family and see that there was a way for me to get sober. They saw me through my lowest of lows through my now near 31/2 year sobriety. I have nothing but love and respect for everyone that helped me through the most difficult thing I ever had to do. from the initial intake fresh off the street, staff guided me through the program, helped me find a temporary job, all the way through me getting re-established in my career and are there still when I need their support after graduating the program and now living in a TLC 3/4 house, Without TLC I am without a doubt sure I would not be alive to see the great life I now lead with the love of the family and friends I once traded for drugs and alcohol. IF you are considering a treatment center, searching for a place for a loved one, from where I sit today TLC is the place you wanna start your recovery. It was a blessing for me at the most difficult time in my life.

Other Forms of Payment

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Financing your treatment can make treatment more accessible. You'll work with your care provider to set up payment plans, including interest rates and repayment timelines. Financing options vary widely and not all programs offer them, so be sure to get the full details before enrolling in treatment. If you have insurance or other benefits, financing may help you cover your remaining out of pocket expenses.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

If you're struggling with adjusting to daily life after inpatient rehab, a sober living home in Arizona may be a good option. These residences offer an in-between option where you can practice the skills you learned in rehab in a structured, drug-free environment. This transition can help you prepare to face the "real world" after treatment. You'll live with others in recovery and follow house rules such as contributing to chores and paying rent.

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

Drug rehab in Arizona is the process of treating individuals who are dependent on a particular addictive drug. Because addiction is complex, this treatment typically includes a variety of interventions that address the many physical and emotional issues involved.

A combined mental health and substance abuse rehab has the staff and resources available to handle individuals with both mental health and substance abuse issues. It can be challenging to determine where a specific symptom stems from (a mental health issue or an issue related to substance abuse), so mental health and substance abuse professionals are helpful in detangling symptoms and keeping treatment on track.

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Arizona's substance abuse treatment centers can provide tailored treatment for individuals with substance use disorders and mental health conditions. Treatment programs may include medically assisted detox, 12-Step recovery, intensive outpatient programs, and aftercare support. Addiction experts employ evidence-based therapies like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and talk therapy to uncover and reframe unhelpful patterns. By graduation, you'll have developed new coping strategies, learned new stress management techniques, and have the capability of sustaining your recovery.

Programs

Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.

Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Clinical Services

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.
