Please please read. Im a 100% Disabled Veteran and I have been begging for this type of therapy for about 15 years. Have nothing against the VA Hospital I love them but they didn't have the resources like this place. I was tired of LIVING crying all day everyday. I felt like a loser I ran all my friends and family away. I felt like I didn't deserve to live or be happy. I sat on the couch 24 hours away. MY body print is actually in my couch. I just ordered fast food I didn't want to cook or bath or cut my grass. I stop paying my bills. I begged GOD to take me. The VA HOSPITAL sent me here just on time. The first I met was Katy for my intake.she asked what was I struggling with, about 10 minutes in I started crying really bad she started smiling and rubbing her hands like she is the mad scientist. She said that the crying is me being ready. After the intake I knew I was in the right place. I started and it's 98% group other than your individual sessions. Normally you are there for 6 weeks, i was there for 4 months😂😂😂 I was really messed up but they will not fail you. I and everyone is forced to talk and be involved I didn't want to do that AT ALL. I didn't want everyone looking at me I felt like im a loser and they would judge me but they felt the same as I did if not worst. This is where ASIA come in, she called me out everyday and I didn't like it I tried to avoid her but she wasn't having it,she pushed me everyday. I had my big break through with her. Next there is Harper she is more like a teacher/professor she broke EVERYTHING done so smooth, she used a lot of videos and worksheets to break it down to you in its simplist form. I needed this more than anything,my PTSD Major Depression and Anxiety didn't allow me to focus so I really enjoyed Harper's method also. Next Is Erica the lead clinician. She was my individual clinician and I could not have gotten a better one EVER. This may sound weak but she handled me really gentle. I would be more open and emotional on our individual sessions. I would start to cry hard and she would lower her voice almost to a whisper which I think she did on purpose so I could listen, well now I think of it this was one of the skills we learned. I would stop crying and then she would tell me to stop and breath which I did, after that I could calm down and finish. She is AMAZING TO ME. Their supervisor is CHRIS is did a great job. He thinks he is better at D.B.T. but trust me Katy is the😂😂. Here energy is amazing. Please do yourself a favor and give them a try. They have ALL the skills and if you listen and participate you can change your life with the help of them. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE REACH OUT TO THEM. I WAS LOST

I would like to share our experience with High Focus Charlotte. Our son completed the twelve weeks treatment, and we are very pleased with the results. The support and guidance provided by the staff and specially by Jarvell, were tremendous help for both our son and our family. His management and expertise were key in supporting my son throughout his treatment. The results exceeded our greatest expectations, and we healed together as a family.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

Often used as a "step-down" option after you've completed a residential or inpatient program, the partial hospitalization program (PHP) typically involves a minimum of 20 hours of treatment per week for approximately 90 days. Programs offer structured programming that includes relapse prevention, medication management, and behavioral therapy services. Insurance coverage for PHP treatment varies among insurance providers.

Intensive outpatient programs (IOP) evolve with clients' changing needs and are often well-suited for clients exiting inpatient rehab and those at an increased relapse risk. These programs typically involve between nine and 20 hours of treatment weekly, with the intensity and frequency of care decreasing as clients stabilize. Most intensive outpatient rehabs integrate a variety of treatment modalities to maintain a high level of individualized care. Services generally include counseling, recovery education, and medication assisted treatment (MAT).

Treatments

North Carolina offers substance abuse treatment programs that provide a holistic and evidence-based approach. Through a comprehensive mental health assessment, addiction experts can provide an individualized care plan specific to your needs. You can expect most rehabs programs to provide individual and group therapy, recovery meetings, and evidence-based therapies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT). Depending on your circumstances and severity of addiction, you may need more intensive care. Levels of care include outpatient, residential inpatient, intensive outpatient, and partial hospitalization. By choosing the right level of care, you're more likely to succeed in long-term recovery.

In North Carolina, dual-diagnosis addiction treatment programs focus on providing integrated care for individuals with co-occurring substance use disorders and mental health diagnoses. You can generally expect a range of programs, including intensive outpatient, inpatient residential, and partial hospitalization options. Therapies like cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), trauma-informed therapy, and family therapy address both disorders and promote mental health and well-being, giving you the tools to sustain long-term recovery.

Programs

Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.

Serving in the military is both mentally and physically challenging, and can result in trauma that persists even after combat ends. Military programs are tailored to the specific and often complex needs of active duty personnel, veterans, and military families. Clients often access these programs through the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).

Clinical Services

Clients who receive cognitive behavioral therapy in North Carolina typically attend five to 20 sessions. During this time, they work with their therapist to learn healthier patterns of thinking, which can help them change their behavior related to substance use.

Counseling that applies dialectical behavior therapy teaches you coping skills to apply to your daily life. The focus is on intense emotions and developing coping mechanisms to manage them. Therapy sessions are a series of teaching lessons that help you develop these coping skills.

Family therapy sessions address the emotional toll that addiction has had on the family unit and individual members. Therapists work with families to develop better coping strategies, which in turn create a stable environment for their loved one's recovery process.

You usually develop a strong bond with your therapist during individual therapy sessions. This helps you explore the underlying causes of your substance use in a safe and nonjudgmental environment. Therapists help you develop effective coping strategies you can use in the community and improve your self awareness so you understand your addiction triggers.

Men and women enjoy a supportive environment within group therapy sessions for drug and alcohol addiction treatment. You can share your experiences and build connections with your peers while receiving encouragement from individuals who have faced similar challenges.
