Thank you Hillside for everything you have helped me achieve during my stay there. Ryan Young did a phenomenal job setting me up with a room and made the transition that much better. May, Joey, Adam, Daniel and David are the best techs and helped me through my entire stay. They truly care and will go above and beyond for the clients. Susan the nurse and Arsho the doctor helped so much in the process as well giving me the care I needed. I would highly recommend this place to anyone seeking help for a better future. Please don’t wait to call, they will help asap. Thanks again Hillside!

Hello, I am Paul ILL, AMFT #153239. Luca and his staff at Hillside Recovery Center are impeccable. I have referred numerous clients to them for medical detox and aftercare. Every client I have referred there has completed treatment. Many have gone on to remain drug-free. All of them have one thing in common - they attribute quite a bit of their success in the treatment environment to Luca’s client-centered, integrative approach to helping people. Luca, his staff and his facility are truly impeccable, and I am so thankful that they always do their best to act in their client’s best interests. He, his staff and their facility truly deserve the five star rating and recommendation.

Thank you brother it was truly a blessing to connect with you and thank you again for going so far above and beyond to get me back on my recovery journey.

Levels of Care

During the first phase of recovery – detox – it is crucial to have 24-hour clinical care in California. This care provides constant monitoring in order to ensure your safely and comfort as you progress through the withdrawal process for drug or alcohol addiction. Licensed professionals prescribe medications to treat withdrawal symptoms and provide frequent monitoring to ensure your safely as addictive toxins leave your system.

Rehab aftercare programs offer clients in addiction recovery a robust continuum of care after clients have completed active treatment. These services address recovery as a life-long process and are designed to evolve with clients' changing needs. Clients may partner with their case managers and/or addiction recovery team to identify the rehab aftercare services that are right for them. They may receive career counseling, housing assistance, peer coaching, 12 step program induction, among many other services.

Inpatient rehab provides intensive treatment for clients exiting detox, those in early recovery, and those at an elevated risk of relapse. Unlike outpatient drug rehab, clients receiving inpatient care reside at the facility for the duration of the program. The length of stay may range from two weeks to 18 months or more, depending on the client's needs and the program's design. Inpatient treatment typically involves extensive addiction education and recovery-focused life skills training.

In California, substance abuse treatment programs can help individuals with any type of substance use disorders and co-occurring conditions. These rehab programs typically encompass various levels of care, including medically assisted detox, intensive outpatient, outpatient, residential rehab, and partial hospitalization. Programs

Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.

Individual therapy for drug addiction includes a customized treatment plan that considers your history and life circumstances. During your therapy sessions, the therapist helps you uncover underlying issues and triggers for addictive behavior that support a holistic approach to recovery.

While in rehab treatment, you may work on developing various life skills to help you in long term recovery. These may include resilience, interpersonal skills, and self awareness. The focus will be on developing healthy habits for self care and relationships so you have the skills you need to manage day to day life.

Recreational therapy is included in alcohol and drug addiction treatment to focus on engaging you in healthy activities that reduce your cravings and improve your overall health and well being. I have been to several places all over the country for recovery and this place was hands down the best treatment program I have ever been to. Alex helped me through every step of the way, I got cold feet initially but his professionalism and empathy helped me so much. They took care of everything rides flights Uber etc. Big shout out to Jake for always being a phone call away to answer any questions I appreciate u. this place is 1st class . The private room allowed me to detox and find the peace I really needed. I got to keep my phone which is unlike any other place. It helped me to FaceTime my kids and keep up with bills and life while at the same time being able recover. I highly recommend this place to anyone struggling this place was a god send.

I want to share my experience at Hillside Recovery so others can make an informed decision before seeking treatment. During detox I was given the wrong medication and eventually went into convulsions. Before that happened, I repeatedly reported concerning symptoms but was accused of pill seeking even though I never asked for medication. During my stay I never saw a medical doctor, only a nurse practitioner. After hitting my head and developing a large knot, I asked to be evaluated for a concussion but was told there was no one available to check for one. Instead I was told to do simple tests like saying my ABCs and solving math problems, which felt dismissive considering the situation. I was also diagnosed with bipolar disorder while severely sleep deprived, and several new medications were started. I left taking medications I did not arrive with. There were also serious administrative issues. Staff told us they would help submit my husband’s short-term disability paperwork and child support court paperwork, but neither was ever submitted, which caused financial and legal stress for our family. The facility itself was very dirty. My room had trash, the mattress was stained, and the first night I had to clean the room myself and ask for cleaning supplies. It also appeared that room quality depended on the patient’s insurance coverage, with better insurance receiving better accommodations. Some treatments advertised on the website were not actually available during detox. When asked about them, we were told those services would only be available in the next step of care (IOP). People entering detox are extremely vulnerable and deserve safe medical care, honesty, and proper follow-through. I hope the facility takes steps to improve patient care and oversight.

Okay first off let me say hands down at this program is very very good I've been to several programs in the past and they can only keep me up to 20 days and I left but this program has got me and it's not because of what it looks like it's because of the way staff goes above and beyond to make sure you're okay and that's just part of it the other part of it has to do with the facilitators that come in and teach you how to stay away from drugs or at least have to remain sober and they show you they take time to show you what your triggers are and things like that to help you remain sober. Now here comes the plus side of everything we put the icing on top of the food while the chefs are like really A1 chefs they make sure you're fed well and you get the right nutrients you need not just fast food type food they do it with nothing but love and you can feel it you can taste it and that's where it begins right right there sure you get the opportunity to have a strong foundation so you can make it out there in the Free world I felt nothing but love and respect from day one show man there's nothing bad about this please it's just got to be in you you have to do the footwork to get these things they'll give it to you but you just up to you to take it
