They fully prepare each client who leaves their facility for a life of sobriety and independent living. However, they are always there to support you should you experience relapse or are faced with a situation or environment that may lead you to relapse.

I can honestly say it was an amazing experience. The care every single person showed me from the time I got there to the time I left was exceptional. There wasn't one moment that I felt like I didn't matter. I would highly recommend Invigorate to anyone needing addiction help. If I ever needed a place to go again, which we never plan on coming back, it would be there. I can't thank everyone enough for the life changing help I received.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

Clients receiving treatment at an outpatient rehab typically do not require hospitalization or intensive supervision and support. Outpatient addiction counseling and recovery education are often offered during the morning, evening, night, and weekend, allowing clients to tailor treatment to their own schedule. Partial hospitalization (PHP) and intensive outpatient (IOP) programs are the most time-intensive and are designed for clients who are at an increased relapse risk and/or who need more robust therapeutic support.

Inpatient rehab provides intensive treatment for clients exiting detox, those in early recovery, and those at an elevated risk of relapse. Unlike outpatient drug rehab, clients receiving inpatient care reside at the facility for the duration of the program. The length of stay may range from two weeks to 18 months or more, depending on the client's needs and the program's design. Inpatient treatment typically involves extensive addiction education and recovery-focused life skills training.

When addicted, quitting your drug of choice suddenly can be dangerous. That's why experts agree a medically assisted detox is the safest way to remove addictive substances from the body. Usually done in an inpatient setting, your vitals signs and overall well being are consistently monitored and rechecked in order to keep you safe and ensure the detox is successful.

Treatments

Alcoholism, or alcohol use disorder (AUD), is defined by alcohol dependence. This is a state the body reaches when it experiences withdrawal symptoms in the absence of alcohol. A person who has AUD craves alcohol and continues to drink despite adverse consequences. Because withdrawing from alcohol can pose health risks, individuals with AUD should seek professional alcohol rehab in California to overcome their alcohol addiction. This process typically involves medical detox, rehabilitation, and maintenance.

Drug rehab in California teaches participants constructive ways to stay clean and sober. Treatment revolves around helping individuals stop using the substance they are addicted to and learn healthy habits to avoid relapse.

opium iconOpioid Addiction

In California, substance abuse treatment programs can help individuals with any type of substance use disorders and co-occurring conditions. These rehab programs typically encompass various levels of care, including medically assisted detox, intensive outpatient, outpatient, residential rehab, and partial hospitalization. You can expect clinicians to utilize evidence-based therapies like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and mindfulness to help you achieve and sustain your recovery. The rehab's clinical team can provide a comprehensive assessment to determine the appropriate level of care and medical support you may need.

Programs

Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.

Men face specific challenges and concerns when seeking addiction treatment. Gender-specific recovery programs help them tackle these issues head-on in an environment that's focused, targeted, and distraction-free. It also gives them the opportunity to connect with and learn from other men who have been through a similar journey and can offer support for the next step.

Rehabs for women provide a safe, nurturing space for female clients to heal. These treatment programs consider the specific obstacles that women can face during recovery and place a special emphasis on mental, social, physical, and reproductive health. They explore how each woman's experience has shaped the trajectory of their substance use, addressing issues such as sexual abuse and past trauma.

Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Clinical Services

Cognitive behavioral therapy in California is a method that therapists often use for the effective treatment of substance use disorders. It is based on the principle that substance abuse stems from unhelpful ways of thinking and patterns of behavior, which can be changed by helping the individual learn better ways of coping.

While participating in dialectical behavior therapy in California, you'll focus on four key areas of skill development: mindfulness, interpersonal effectiveness, emotion regulation, and distress tolerance. Treatment includes weekly individual and group sessions.

During group therapy, men and women learn to express their emotions openly in a non judgmental setting. This helps you process your feelings and reduces feelings of social isolation that are often associated with addiction.

Individual therapy for drug addiction includes a customized treatment plan that considers your history and life circumstances. During your therapy sessions, the therapist helps you uncover underlying issues and triggers for addictive behavior that support a holistic approach to recovery.

For clients who are struggling with ambivalence toward change, motivational interviewing in California can help strengthen their commitment to change. Using a conversational method, the therapist helps you explore your motivations and empowers you to make the changes you desire.

Family therapy offers a platform for members to have an open dialogue about the challenges that addiction has placed on the family unit. Through guided sessions, therapists can help families develop healthy communication skills and address unresolved issues. By working together toward a common goal, they help to support their loved one's sobriety.

While in rehab treatment, you may work on developing various life skills to help you in long term recovery. These may include resilience, interpersonal skills, and self awareness. The focus will be on developing healthy habits for self care and relationships so you have the skills you need to manage day to day life.

Recreational therapy is included in alcohol and drug addiction treatment to focus on engaging you in healthy activities that reduce your cravings and improve your overall health and well being. When you participate in group sports, art, or nature walks, you develop new interests and find a meaningful way to spend your time and reduce your cravings.

***BEWARE OF THIS THINLY VEILED LEGAL HEALTH INSURANCE SCAM*** While your mileage may vary, keep your guard up when speaking to the "sales person" who talks you into going. 90% of the residents there are for alcoholism, the remaining 10% are for things like opiates, and other hard drugs requiring physical detox. Seth was a superb salesman aka manipulator who exhibited great empathy, but once they see your insurance will cover (most of?!) the costs...he turns on the sales pitch. He and the staff there clearly take advantage of your vulnerability once they know solid money will come in. To the tune of $6,000 PER DAY! Seth will tell you "You don't have to pay anything! It's all covered!" - this is NOT the case as I now owe $4,000?! My situation was not alcohol, or hard drugs requiring any physical withdrawal...the staff continuously mislabeled me as an alcoholic, which was NOT the reason I was there. They declared they will help with a "dual diagnosis" which included diabetes/anxiety/depression. Instead, you're forced to go to AA style groups which is cult-y and chock full of toxic positivity. I was there 10 days, and met with a therapist...ONCE They will strip you of all your belongings, leaving you with only clothes and some toiletries. They destroyed several of my prescribed medications without advising me of such before-hand. Last minute flights aren't cheap...they literally push you to fly out the same day, or next day. When you want to remove yourself, here comes the sales pitch again to get you to stay. Staff..while some were cool, many were incompetent and unqualified for this type of position. One staff member spilled an entire bottle of my meds all over the ground, then with his insanely dirty hands picked them all up off the ground and put them back in the bottle. Many of them seemed highly under the influence, which in it of itself is very concerning. It's a 5 star prison the way they treat you. Need a knife? you have to check it out. Want your phone? You have to beg like a desperate human to do that. Expect them to listen to you and your concerns? Don't bother...you're a cash cow to them, not a human. Not ONCE were my mental health issues and diabetes addressed, which caused some of the worst anxiety I have ever had in my life. Kyle who is the billing person is a coward who does not like to respond to emails properly. I have opened up a fraud case with my insurance provider and I urge anyone who has dealt with this to do the same To summarize, this facility is basically a legal scam chock full of manipulation, false promises, and staff who does not listen to your concerns.

They decide to be unprofessional about your discharge. I am a repeat client and have seen this happen to 90% of clients the day they leave. Whether it be from the detox or the sober living. Also, sober living is a hustle and a joke . It is borderline fraudulent. They promise $50 food cards and house groceries every week, but house groceries are more like every 3 weeks and the $50 food card is after you apply for EBT and prove to them that you have 60% or less of your income and have bills to pay. I’ve seen mothers and father of not just one kid but a few come in and still not get the food cards or it be excessively delayed. I was there the second and last time for 6 months. They told me two days before I left that I had to stay for programming on my last day… that’s so they could squeeze every penny out of me and charge my insurance for IOP. I stuck to my guns and made sure that didn’t happen. Once they found out I wasn’t changing my flight a family member had bought they turned to my medications to get money out of. Insurance covers meds. Sure it’s case by case, but they cannot provide itemized lists for what insurance does and does not cover and that’s for numerous things. The chief financial officer couldn’t even. If they find out people that support you make a decent living they will base a lot of the prices of things like rent, Ubers, tickets off the amount that person makes. Even though you are the responsible party. Sure at detox I could see you maybe not being in the right mind, but after your detox and rehab there shouldn’t be a debate on if you are the responsible party or not. The amount of discrepancies started to become more and more as times went on. They will sell you on anything and lots of which are lies. Just to get you there. They make you sign in while you’re still intoxicated so you’re unclear of rules as much as they are. They are pick and choose with everything. Halfway through my stay they decide to start enforcing rules that have always been there… everything but honesty. The thing is I can keep going on about each place. The last thing you do should be the review you’d imagine, right? They made me do that the day before I left and then pulled some fasts ones on me. They say you get your phone back at sober living after 72 hours but that’s also a lie. It’s 80. The last day they make you wait until after programming. Even through the 15 minute breaks and lunch. If they bought you an uber and paid for your flight out here, sure they will pay for the one home only if you complete the program. If you buy a flight out here expect to buy one back. They don’t tell you that. Technicians say they care because they actually do and a lot come from their own experience. Darrin is good too. This place preys on your weakness when you’re at your worst. And it’s a business at the end of the day so it’s for all the profits they can get. Not just from insurance, but from your pockets. They’ll go fishing to see what hits and what doesn’t. Seemingly unprofessional and borderline fraudulent if not 100%. This is from my experience and things I’ve observed. Have a total of 7 months spent at this place.

My roommate assaulted me, and nothing was done about it. The director and the "doctor" on staff attempted to gaslight me and say they had an immaculate vetting process that would assure this sort of thing couldn't happen (despite it happening). That immaculate vetting process then resulted in an individual who was clearly experiencing a deep psychotic break to be ignored until he started wandering into people's rooms at night, and another individual sexually assaulting at least two of the female residents. In addition, every single thing told to me over the phone before I arrived was an outright lie. I'm giving an extra star because the techs and counselors were great and worked their butts off handling caseloads that were far too great for the staffing levels. Those techs especially deserve a raise. But brushing criminal acts under the rug and minimizing patients' fears for their own safety is wildly inappropriate when we come in trusting you with our lives. Get your act together and train your director on legally mandated reporting practices before someone gets seriously hurt.
