I was at a point in my life where I saw my addiction getting the better of me and knew it was time for a change. I have 2 young ones and didn't want them to grow up with the person I was becoming. On a whim I called New Leaf and from the second I was on the phone with Dustin I felt at peace knowing I was in good hands. I never thought in a million years within 2 days of reaching out I would be on a plane to travel 3000 miles across the country for treatment. It was the best decision I could've made and it changed my life! I could write pages and pages of how amazing this program is but will keep it to a couple things that really stuck out. First, the staff ( Directors, Case Managers, Therapists, Techs, Doctors , All staff) from top to bottom were absolutely incredible! The care , support, kindness, respect, and overall willingness to help you through your journey is something I'll never forget. They truly care about you and it showed 24/7 in my interactions with them. Second, the attention to your OVERALL Health was wonderful. Yes you are in a rigorous treatment program each day . However, there is also focus on your overall well-being . Things like nature hikes, beach days, gym and pool time, nightly meetings , and other various outings were all so needed as a break from the daily grind and schedule. All these activities helped shape and mold me into a much better person overall. It also allowed me to form such strong bonds and friendships with staff and other patients that can provide that much needed support for when you leave the program. New Leaf changed my life! They provide you with every resource you need to turn your life around and when you put your trust in them and the program itself, you have an incredible opportunity to achieve lifelong wellness and sobriety . Again, Thank You! Evan M.

Alcoholism, or alcohol use disorder (AUD), is defined by alcohol dependence. This is a state the body reaches when it experiences withdrawal symptoms in the absence of alcohol. A person who has AUD craves alcohol and continues to drink despite adverse consequences. Because withdrawing from alcohol can pose health risks, individuals with AUD should seek professional alcohol rehab in California to overcome their alcohol addiction. This process typically involves medical detox, rehabilitation, and maintenance.

Cognitive behavioral therapy in California is a method that therapists often use for the effective treatment of substance use disorders. It is based on the principle that substance abuse stems from unhelpful ways of thinking and patterns of behavior, which can be changed by helping the individual learn better ways of coping.

The goal of couples therapy in California is to strengthen the couple's relationship. The therapist may take one or more approaches to counseling which may include the Gottman method, emotionally focused therapy, behavioral therapy, and psychodynamic couple's therapy.

eye-movement iconEye Movement Desensitization And Reprocessing

Family therapy offers a platform for members to have an open dialogue about the challenges that addiction has placed on the family unit. Through guided sessions, therapists can help families develop healthy communication skills and address unresolved issues. By working together toward a common goal, they help to support their loved one's sobriety.

For clients who are struggling with ambivalence toward change, motivational interviewing in California can help strengthen their commitment to change. Using a conversational method, the therapist helps you explore your motivations and empowers you to make the changes you desire.

While participating in dialectical behavior therapy in California, you'll focus on four key areas of skill development: mindfulness, interpersonal effectiveness, emotion regulation, and distress tolerance. Treatment includes weekly individual and group sessions.

During group therapy, men and women learn to express their emotions openly in a non judgmental setting. This helps you process your feelings and reduces feelings of social isolation that are often associated with addiction.

This facility is top tier, as someone with different rehab experience from all over the us this one is very different. The staff are all very Caring and understanding. They actually understand from there own experiences of the struggles we all are going through. From the moment I walked through the door for intake until I left I felt a sense of community and home. This program especially the therapists have helped me grow and work through issues I didn’t even know I had. Would recommend highly to any struggling addict if you want a 10/10 rehab experience at a facility that actually cares about you not just getting sober but recovering. Shout out the staff members Johnathan , raven, Zach, Jameson, austin, Dustin, and Kenya! Wouldn’t have been able to be at this point with out yall

Response from the owner
Corbin! That is such an awesome review and we so appreciate it. Thank you so much for shouting out our staff, they work so hard. Thank you for taking the time to share, and best of luck in your recovery!

As far as comfort goes they’ve got good beds, food, and people. You gotta be willing to give up your ego and participate 100% in everything though to really get your time and money’s worth.
