About Community Counseling Services

Community Counseling Service (CCS) is a state-certified provider that operates as a community mental health center located in Starkville, Mississippi.

Officially known as Region VII Mental Health Services, CCS helps residents of the region address substance use, mental health disorders and co-occurring conditions.

These services can be funded via Medicaid and Medicare which enhance access for individuals with limited financial capability. They even offer telehealth support, which makes it easier and convenient for clients to access care remotely.

You can visit this clinic to receive targeted care for your substance use problems or related conditions.

Support at all Levels of Recovery

One great thing about the Starkville Main Counseling Office is that they’re fully equipped and staffed to support clients at all stages of recovery. They can provide crisis support for individuals experiencing acute psychiatric or substance use disorders. This could mean drug overdose or severe withdrawal symptoms. Crisis care mainly focuses on providing immediate relief, restoring stability and connecting clients to the appropriate level of care within or outside their network.

Individuals with mild to moderate substance use issues can benefit from their flexible outpatient care. Services may include assessment, treatment planning and therapeutic support that fosters resilience and lasting recovery. They can provide referrals to high-intensity residential care as appropriate. They also offer peer support services and recovery support via case management. This may involve linkage to community services to tackle needs like food and nutrition, housing and even employment assistance.

The facility can provide judicial-involved support as well. This encompasses assessment for DUI offenders and pre-evaluation screening for civil commitment. Folks with psychiatric issues or co-occurring conditions can receive integrated care aimed at holistic healing.

Very bad. They will mess up information and blame you for their mistakes. Highly recommend going literally anywhere else.I'd share photos of it, if it wasn't a breach of information. If the lady starts mixing up numbers of, say, fax numbers and phone numbers, just run. Run, far away.

Other Forms of Payment

Sliding scale payments are based on a client's income and family size. The goal is to make treatment affordable to everyone. By taking these factors into account, addiction recovery care providers help ensure that your treatment does not become a financial burden to you or your family, eliminating one barrier to care.

Medicare is a federal program that provides health insurance for those 65 and older. It also serves people under 65 with chronic and disabling health challenges. To use Medicare for addiction treatment you need to find a program that accepts Medicare and is in network with your plan. Out of pocket costs and preauthorization requirements vary, so always check with your provider.

Military members, veterans, and eligible dependents have access to specific insurance programs that help them get the care they need. TRICARE and VA insurance can help you access low cost or no cost addiction and mental health treatment. Programs that accept military insurance often have targeted treatment focused on the unique challenges military members, veterans, and their families face.

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient
Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.
heart-hands iconIntervention Services
Professional intervention services can help families navigate issues related to planning and executing an intervention in Mississippi. Understanding that heightened emotions and complex family dynamics are present, an intervention specialist helps by organizing and executing the intervention while allowing everyone to express their feelings. They also make sure the addicted loved one feels cared for instead of attacked, and they can also help create treatment plans for the individual and their family members.

LGBTQ Program
Recovery is most successful when clients feel accepted and validated by their peers and treatment providers. Facilities that offer LGBTQ-inclusive programming are committed to creating a safe space where everyone can grow and recover without fear of judgment or discrimination. They will have dedicated policies in place to create a safe and supportive environment that fosters free expression.

Military Program
Serving in the military is both mentally and physically challenging, and can result in trauma that persists even after combat ends. Military programs are tailored to the specific and often complex needs of active duty personnel, veterans, and military families. Clients often access these programs through the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).

Unprofessional receptionists. Literally playing games on her phone while she was supposed to be looking up my appointment. The actual therapist I talked to kept talking over me everytime he asked me a question. Left feeling a little bit worse because Whenever I told him what was bothering me he would basically say “that’s life” in paragraph form. I was told that I would only have to pay out of pocket for my first visit. Almost $100 and then when I came back for my next one they told me I would have to pay $40. Don’t go here. They’re trippin
