I had to go to the emergency room due to double vision, which turned out to be strabismus. Everyone was so kind but I especially want to give a shout out to the receptionist who came out to help me to my seat, Mr Webb who took such good care of me through it all (not sure of his title) Franklin who did my MRI was so kind & made sure I was comfortable and of course my Dr who got things rolling quickly and consulted with Drs that specialized in Neuro Opthamology. The whole experience was smooth and the people wonderful, especially for an Emergency department. I was frightened due to this being the first hospital visit since a long stay when I almost died from pneumonia, sepsis and septic shock. Thank you to all of them!

Levels of Care

Inpatient

Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). Clinical Services

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

The Cardiology team at St. Mary’s Hospital is A+ EXCELLENT. Nurses Reggie and Erika were outstanding. Everyone including my Cardiologist went above and beyond to educate me, help put me at ease for my tests and procedures, and put a smile on my face. I’m recently retired and relocated to Reno, after an amazing 22 year career in healthcare. THANKS again Cardiac team, you guys rock! Also thanks to NP Ferreto and Dr. Roberson.

Before I even entered the building I was greeted by a woman, she was wearing scrubs, who grabbed the door for me. She asked me where I was headed and I replied 202. What are you going for she asked and I said mammogram. Oh your going to 250 let me take you . In the elevator I said that I would be coming back the next morning for a bone density test. Well I think you can probably have both today , let’s go see. Everyone was just as kind and I got both done at that appointment. Thanks to everyone in imaging made a normally not looking forward to, mammogram, a refreshing experience.. all smiles from the entire staff. Exceptionally nice surprise.

Don’t go here if you’re not white. They will treat you horrible. I had a minor seizure and they kept making remarks that I was faking it also while I was having the seizure, they didn’t wanna help me. Saint Mary’s ain’t so saint.

My husband and I are seniors 80 years old I got about blockage that I get once a month We are from Oregon a small town so when I was having a medical emergency we found this hospital nearest in Reno. It was very very clean the staff was professional some of the best I've ever seen.
