Levels of Care

Inpatient

Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

Twinkle Toes

Had a weather related biking accident at Burning Man and was treated at the ESD/Rampart Medical Dept with great basic care. Had an Xray that showed a facial fracture and was highly suggested to go outside for a CAT Scan to R/O brain bleeding. St. Mary’s ER in Reno NV. The quickest service ever in an ER, kind, articulate, friendly and competent staff all around. CAT Scan showed no bleeding & was given a good report for now and to follow up with a plastic surgeon in my own state. Nothing imminent, just in the future day 2 weeks.

The therapist named Teresa was so excellent. She treated me like royal. It was just I walk out of there feeling so happy so good. She gave me so much information in detail about what I need to do to take care of myself so I wanna thank her appreciate everything. She’s done with that 40 minutes whatever but she made me feel Very welcome. Very loved anyway thank you very much and I’ll see you next week. My next appointment is September 3 and have a good day thank you.

The staff at St. Mary's ER are phenomenal. We tooky mother in last night for an issue with her cancer and she was treated very well. Only issue I have is St. Mary's does not accept Prominence Medicare advantage plan. It's a shame.

I was treated with respect and they made sure I was completely comfortable, I had a little problem with my blood pressure and my oxygen and they made sure I was at the right blood pressure and that my oxygen was good before they released me and even though the reason I was there should have only been there for 5 hours I was there for 8 and I never felt like I was a burden on them they watched me and made sure that I was ok.

We had an incredible surgical experience at Saint Mary's. Our daughter had to have surgery and was very anxious and scared. The entire team helped made the process as easy as possible for us. Josie got us in and registered quickly, she shared a common interest of softball with our daughter which helped. Once we were getting ready for surgery Kathy placed her IV so quickly and easily which was one of the things our daughter was the most scared of. After surgery, Aeju in recovery was one of the kindest people ever. She stroked her hair, made sure she was comfortable, explained things over and over. She made us feel like family. As we prepared to go home Sarah in recovery made sure she spoke directly to our daughter and included her so she understood what she needed to do and not do once she got home. The entire experience was everything we could ask for when you have a scared teen being taken care of. Thank you to everyone at Saint Mary's.
