I was in this program after being released from incarceration, i was released to a inpatient 30 day rehab and then shipped here. This place really established new found structure in my life and they really help you with everything you could possibly want or dream of. The program director Steve is a very great man, has zero tolerance for bs lol. But a huge shout out to Kelly, Meg, dawn, Monica, Ashley, richard, Molly and my prss shannan. The Staff here is so amazing and really helped me through so much in my life. If your ready to be clean and sober and start a functioning life this is the place to be. Loved this program and graduated from it.

This is a great facility and the people I interacted with are even better. Specifically I'd like to mention Sandy and Tiffany.Sandy was always extremely professional and cordial with me. Always asked how I was and expressed genuine concern for everyone.To say that Tiffany is an excellent counselor would be an understatement. She takes the extra initiative to help her clients grow. The Differents was amazing! The time I spent there was life changing! The staff made me feel so comfortable the whole time I was there to the point it felt like another home for me, they saved my life! The comfort level I felt while in an uncomfortable situation, was truly heart warming! Joe, Cory, Mike and Michelle along with all the other staff are truly a dream team. The alcohol addition therapy I received while at The Differents has helped me live a life I can now be proud of. Definitely the best facility one could hope for. Leaving the Differents, I not only learned how to manage my addiction, I made lifetime friends. It really feel’s like a family there. The incredible views, amazing landscape and beautiful home made me feel at ease as well. The trama therapy course along with all the other groups we attended while there, both inside the home and ones we visited, I felt empowered and strong in a way I haven’t felt for over 20 years! On my last morning at the home, I cried leaving because I owe everything to this team of amazing people! My only regret is I didn’t check myself in sooner! I am a US Coast Guard veteran with service related PTSD, severe anxiety disorder and major depressive disorder, that I self medicated with alcohol for. I had been treatment once before at a much larger classic facility and did not succeed and struggled on my own after being discharged from the military. I am now 80 days sober and finally feel like I have my alcoholism and mental health under control. I feel like the Dillon I have always wanted to be. My time at the Differents was significant for many reasons. I can’t express how much the environment in the house was the exact type of structured freedom I needed to boost my confidence in myself and my ability to build a solid foundation underneath me and help me build myself back up to the person I know I can be and have always wanted to become. The relationships I built with my house mates was organic and as helpful as the groups themselves were for my recovery. The activities were amazing from IR sauna, climbing gym, a sensory room, escape room and snowboarding! I had fun at the same time I was working hard on myself and growing back to who I know I can be. I will be spreading the messages and positivity I found at the Differents and I will recommend it to anyone who needs help. I forgot to mention the Group Trauma workshop with Paul! It was one of the hardest things I’ve done but it was amazing to have answered so many questions I never know I had about myself. I love me now and I can thank everyone involved in this program, especially Cory. Cory thank you for helping get me to the Differents and helping save my life. From Indiana & was in Nevada visiting family. Guest dosed here 2 days. It was quick & everyone there was extremely helpful - the original place that my counselor & I set up for me to guest dosed didn't contact me until the day before, informing me they only did inpatient. The Center for Behavior Health was more than understanding, and helped me figure out what steps needed to be taken, in order for me to get my medication. It was $25/day to guest dose. Definitely would recommend.

Some people like to go straight for the CORE issue. If you dig a hollow hole in that giant pile, it ll collapse into itself. Not exactly sure why I keep seeing Teen Counseling Center's with oddly low scores on Google Maps other than sending a child to one is a difficult time in a families life and no one wants to do it. My wife and I sent one of our teens here recently for two months and we had an extremely positive experience. The counselor working with my kid was smart, compassionate and able to bridge the communication gap between child and parents. The tools taught to my kid were practical and have been helping them live a more well rounded and healthier life. There were weekly video calls for family sessions that I always looked forward to because Miranda was easy to work with and proffessional. The doctor at Willow Springs Center called me wife weekly with updates on our kids medication and was able to slowly tweak levels to something that is taking the edge off of the depression. I really can't say enough good things because the items my child has complained about since being home is inconsequential to the help they received.

If you are ready to change your life, the staff here are amazing and they are there to help you. I only lasted a week at Bristlecone but it was 100% me not being ready why I didn't make it longer and 100% on me that I didn't stay. When I am ready, I will be back because they did an amazing job getting me through that week I was there. If I was smarter, I would have stayed and I would still be sober but, addiction truly is a cunning thing and even knowing I should stay I left. Like I said, they did an amazing job just getting me sober for a week. I know that one day I will go back and my recovery will begin and be successful because of them. If you are ready to get sober, Bristlecone is the place to be. Do yourself a favor and call them now. They can help. Great team of great people who live to help people in need. I can't say enough good things about them. They truly care and you can tell. I wish I was stronger and stayed but my life and my path led me somewhere else for the time being. I completed the inpatient program in September. I also resided in the transitional living for three months. I am now working on six months clean. I am very grateful for Bristlecone the staff the brotherhood. It was the reset to my life that I needed. I highly recommend Bristlecone it is very clean, the staff is professional the program is structured the food is good. The only thing I disliked was they do not take you to outside meetings, nor do they give you much recreational time, so expect to put on a few pounds! Lol most of us needed to anyways !

Step 2 and staff saved my life. They were the only ones who ever took the time to listen to me, believe me and show me a way of life that is effective. I was loved genuinely. I've been straight , except a few hiccups in the first few months. When I get the urge...I think about Karen when she says "play the tape". When I get emotional about my trauma, I think about Alyssa and being immediately mindful by smelling and applying lavendar. I make my bed by request of Katy, which shows stability and consistency. I lay down on my couch when I feel a panic attack coming like CJ taught me. ( my daughter still asks about CJ). I spent holidays with ladies who wanted to see my succeed. When I get triggered I question why and try to figure out why, as opposed to getting hammered. See... things happen to all of us... and it's ok to feel. I think that was one of the biggest things I learned. Essentially life is ok. It's going to be ok, it is ok, it was ok. And in case anyone's asking...we are doing well. I got my real estate license. To everyone that worked there, thank you so much for believing me and believing in me. Thank you much more for teaching me those things weren't my fault. I was treated for non epeleptic seizures. With a workbook, individual counseling, and the support of friends I not only have had no seizures in 5 months but I have gotten rid of panic attacks. My family member had an evaluation by her. She was very detailed and the evaluation took about an hour. I think the reason people are giving her bad reviews is because she is a good judge of character and can tell if she is being lied to. Because that s what she is professionally trained to do. And as far as her making money off people with substance abuse issues .....it s a service, it s not going to be free. And it shouldn t be cheap just because you have a drug problem. Take some responsibility for your actions that landed you there in the first place.

Dunno why people are giving her such bad reviews, especially this review: "People dying from drugs. This place and drug programs make money off someone trying to save their lives." Uh yeah, that's how SHE MAKES A LIVING. Sounds like this reviewer has boundary issues and wanted something for nothing. Doesn't work that way, buddy.I received some good advice from her the one visit I had. Some advice that has helped me make changes that have helped keep me away from booze for awhile. But if you go to her, be prepared for a full assessment/evaluation. She will pull no punches and give a straight report...
