I was in this program after being released from incarceration, i was released to a inpatient 30 day rehab and then shipped here. This place really established new found structure in my life and they really help you with everything you could possibly want or dream of. The program director Steve is a very great man, has zero tolerance for bs lol. But a huge shout out to Kelly, Meg, dawn, Monica, Ashley, richard, Molly and my prss shannan. The Staff here is so amazing and really helped me through so much in my life. If your ready to be clean and sober and start a functioning life this is the place to be. This is a great facility and the people I interacted with are even better. Specifically I'd like to mention Sandy and Tiffany. Sandy was always extremely professional and cordial with me. Always asked how I was and expressed genuine concern for everyone. To say that Tiffany is an excellent counselor would be an understatement. She takes the extra initiative to help her clients grow. Tiffant listened to all my needs and created a treatment plan tailored to my needs and aligned with the most current clinical methodology. People like this help you navigate through life and I am blessed to have participated and connected with people of this caliber. Thank you.

The Differents- Drug Rehab in Reno, located in Reno, Nevada is a private drug rehab center that specializes in the treatment of addiction rehab.
The Differents is truly different than I expected, and different from the one other rehab facility I had experience with. This isn’t “captive sobriety “ as I described the other program. This is almost a resort setting, with a very small patient population and plenty of qualified and caring staff. The focus is on helping patients remember (or learn) that life is precious and living sober allows us to truly live. Outings are planned specific to patient interests and occur at least weekly. There isn’t total focus on one path, such as AA or NA; it’s a balanced program incorporating several approaches to long-term sobriety. The on-site recreational facilities and ability to hike and explore the surrounding area round out the positive, nurturing atmosphere. Highly recommended.

If you are ready to change your life, the staff here are amazing and they are there to help you. I only lasted a week at Bristlecone but it was 100% me not being ready why I didn't make it longer and 100% on me that I didn't stay. When I am ready, I will be back because they did an amazing job getting me through that week I was there. If I was smarter, I would have stayed and I would still be sober but, addiction truly is a cunning thing and even knowing I should stay I left. Like I said, they did an amazing job just getting me sober for a week. I know that one day I will go back and my recovery will begin and be successful because of them. If you are ready to get sober, Bristlecone is the place to be. Do yourself a favor and call them now. They can help. Great team of great people who live to help people in need. I can't say enough good things about them. They truly care and you can tell. I wish I was stronger and stayed but my life and my path led me somewhere else for the time being. I know I will be back though and when I do go back, I know I will be ready and I will be successful because of this place and these wonderful people. Even though I failed, it's my fault and they did their best. I'm just a special kind of trainwreck and I'm not ready to be happy just yet. When I am ready though, this is where I will find my way to that happiness. Thank you to everyone at Bristlecone, keep doing what you do because so many people like me need you.

From Indiana & was in Nevada visiting family. Guest dosed here 2 days. It was quick & everyone there was extremely helpful - the original place that my counselor & I set up for me to guest dosed didn't contact me until the day before, informing me they only did inpatient. The Center for Behavior Health was more than understanding, and helped me figure out what steps needed to be taken, in order for me to get my medication. It was $25/day to guest dose. Definitely would recommend.

So I was here from August - December of 2024. I appreciate eilynn for being a good therapist and all that. I miss Stefanie and talking about her light-skinned boyfriend (hehe) and I miss Chevy ant Tay lots! Helped me so much and I hope they see this. The review is almost a year late but never to late! I'm so glad they didn't give up on me cus I was a crashout and got into a lot of holds. I'm doing so well today, though i discharged for a month and then headed to a mental hospital due to CRYING and then transferred to a residential and just got out. School was great and I'll never forget the teachers! King Zach, you are missed and remembered. SHEILA I MISS YOU SO MUCH! I lowkey forgot how to spell the staffs name that I gave the capybara to. And Aden, so very sorry for attacking you bro glad we made up near the end. I loved the staff so much and I hope they are still working there. Oh and the weird spelling of derrek (hope that's how you spell if) thanks for talking with me to the cops when I almost got arrested for biting a staff (😳) you helped so much. Anyway, peace out!

Step 2 and staff saved my life. They were the only ones who ever took the time to listen to me, believe me and show me a way of life that is effective. I was loved genuinely. I've been straight , except a few hiccups in the first few months. When I get the urge...I think about Karen when she says "play the tape". When I get emotional about my trauma, I think about Alyssa and being immediately mindful by smelling and applying lavendar. I make my bed by request of Katy, which shows stability and consistency. I lay down on my couch when I feel a panic attack coming like CJ taught me. ( my daughter still asks about CJ). I spent holidays with ladies who wanted to see my succeed. When I get triggered I question why and try to figure out why, as opposed to getting hammered. See... things happen to all of us... and it's ok to feel. I think that was one of the biggest things I learned. Essentially life is ok. It's going to be ok, it is ok, it was ok. And in case anyone's asking...we are doing well. I got my real estate license. To everyone that worked there, thank you so much for believing me and believing in me. Thank you much more for teaching me those things weren't my fault. Thank you so much more for making me into a force to be reckoned with... because I will pass that onto my kids too. I luv all yall - christy

Presence Therapy – MidTown Mindfulness, located in Reno, Nevada is a private alcohol and drug rehab that offers treatment for a variety of substance abuse addictions. They offer residential care providing long term support for addiction recovery.
Shannon at the South Reno location was literally one of the best people I’ve ever met. She opened my mind to the best thing you can do for your life - think of the worst possible scenario and think of the options that you have from there. Never lose hope that you can change your life and recover from abuse beyond your comprehension. You can save your life by yourself if you have to. People only have power over you if you let them have it. Believe actions, not words. Master the masculine in yourself if you are a woman. Nurture the feminine in yourself if you are a man. Jealousy and thinking you’re not good enough does not serve your highest good. You can come back from the worst things imaginable. I was going to bring her some flowers to show that I’m okay because she helped save my life. In a strange twist of fate my cat was sick and no one listened, but when I went to AEC on S. Virginia, the woman who greeted me was named Shannon. That’s how I knew I could trust my gut and not stop fighting even if people tell you no.

My family member had an evaluation by her. She was very detailed and the evaluation took about an hour. I think the reason people are giving her bad reviews is because she is a good judge of character and can tell if she is being lied to. Because that’s what she is professionally trained to do. And as far as her “making money off people with substance abuse issues”.....it’s a service, it’s not going to be free. And it shouldn’t be cheap just because you have a drug problem. Take some responsibility for your actions that landed you there in the first place.
TheBecaann1

Dunno why people are giving her such bad reviews, especially this review: "People dying from drugs. This place and drug programs make money off someone trying to save their lives." Uh yeah, that's how SHE MAKES A LIVING. Sounds like this reviewer has boundary issues and wanted something for nothing. Doesn't work that way, buddy. I received some good advice from her the one visit I had. Some advice that has helped me make changes that have helped keep me away from booze for awhile. But if you go to her, be prepared for a full assessment/evaluation. She will pull no punches and give a straight report...

The Differents- Drug Rehab in Reno
