I have been helped by these people at 3 different locations with many different staff members, counselors and habits. I would have been dead by now if I had made other choices here and there but after approx fifteen or eighteen years, I am still standing, and I can honestly say it is because of their selfless compassion and commitment to those who ask for their help. That is the absolute real from a die hard junkie.

My wife is just beginning this journey and I pray we have made the right choice. She has hope in her eyes for the for the first time in a very very long time. The staff appear to be amazing! It's very clean. No loitering. No smoking right in front of building or right in front of the entrance/exit doors which i like alot . It shows class and that there is cleanliness and caring going on here. The nurses are great except for one person but the t e is always that one.
. She is the intake nurse that occupies the back office next to the doctor she has a rancid attitude and myself and my wife dont care for her at all. She has an air about herself that she is above speaking to the patients...so no good morning from her and if you ask how are you doing today she rudely replies what can I help you with?!!!! But the male African American nurse is my and my wife's favorite. Super nice !!! Always smiling always chatty always eager to help with any questions even if it doesn't apply to his position or field he will find someone that can answer you. Those that dont know what it like g e thing clean and sober have no idea how ppl getting clean are already under pressure and dont need to feel anymore beneath society than they already do!!! That one young Hispanic intake nurse ruins many a patient's day i can tell someone really should talk to her about this attitude...
The doctor who evaluates you and prescribes your dosage is amazing! She is tall beautiful with blonde hair and a single gold tooth!! She is eager to help very compassionate, understanding but let's you know that she is under federal guidelines and what she is doing is the best she is allowed but encourages you that you will reach your final and better dosage with in days.
My wife's counselor is Micheal and he is amazing! Always smiling! Always has a light in his eyes! My wife adores him and is looking forward d to working with him and the gentleman across the hall who takes care of mental health! Yes they do mental as well here! and counseling !!! And they provide narcan and test trips free of charge!! Clean restroom clean waiting room my wife br9ngs her poodle mix Raul everywhere in there and no one says anything!

I went through Sacramento Valley TC back in the 90s. Teen Challenge is a great organization! God saved my life and I'm so grateful. Many of God's blessings, health and life to the staff and all who support them. they dont take the students seriously and refuse to believe genuine requests for mental and emotional help. The directors lie to parents and will do or say anything to keep kids there as long as possible to collect as much money as possible.

We're grateful to Muir Wood for having helped our family through a terrible crisis. While our son was there, the rest of the family slept easily knowing he was in the care of compassionate, expert staff. The doctors, therapists, and staff there are all excellent. They're experienced, and have seen it all. What a relief! The program my son participated in was comprehensive, from getting great nutrition from an on-site chef, to engaging in personal and group therapy, as well as attending outside meetings. Muir Wood returned him to improved physical and mental health, and he was able to take responsibility for and pride in his sobriety. The family program is excellent, including individual family therapy and multi-family group discussion. Through the expertise of the affiliated guest speakers at the group meetings, our whole family learned a lot about how to manage addiction of our roles. All of us, including our son, are stronger because of Muir Wood's program.

Muirwood is a cadillac facility in every way! I was impressed with every facet of the program, the facilities, the staff, the family resources, discharge resources etc. If one has to go through this nightmare experience of substance abuse and all that entails, this is a safe landing place for our sons and an invaluable resource for us as families, not only while our son is there in treatment, but in terms of being set up to move forward after treatment as well. I am forever grateful to Muirwood and so thankful my son was able to be there at such a critical time in his life!

I was treated for non epeleptic seizures. With a workbook, individual counseling, and the support of friends I not only have had no seizures in 5 months but I have gotten rid of panic attacks. If. I could give less stars I would, we were sent to Mather by no less than 4 drs from Stockton va for an emergency mri. We got here at 5:02pm and were told mri was closed for the day, as it is an actual life threatening emergency I said ok I’ll put him back in the car and take him to UCD they won’t let us leave but won’t treat him while we wait now going on n a hour and a half for them to figure out what to do while he sits here with n danger of having a stroke due to a brain tumor

I cannot say enough about this place, I’ve been to other methadone clinics before but this one surpasses them all! The Doctor is absolutely amazing she’s so smart and compassionate. Ceola is my counselor and she is so smart and so capable, She’s one of the best problem solver I’ve ever met. She’s super responsible and has helped me in my journey tremendously. I can honestly say that I have never had a counselor that has been so educated and knowledgeable! Having her as my counselor and having this particular Doctor has helped me get my life back and my children back. The extent that my counselor has gone for me To help get my life back in order is just absolutely Amazing they should literally get paid triple!I normally don’t write reviews but I think it was so necessary to let people know how great they are. Motty And DC working at the front desk are also amazing! And miss Letta Has helped me a lot also!

Starla, who was assigned as his counselor, has been nothing short of amazing. She goes out of her way to make sure he feels comfortable, and she truly takes the time to connect with her patients in a meaningful way. Her dedication and empathy have made a world of difference.
D has also been incredible, except her being a Cowboys fan, she is very supportive, kind, and always present. And the doctor caring for my friend has provided outstanding attention and compassion throughout his treatment.
It is clear that everyone at your facility truly cares. It shows in the way they listen, support, and treat each individual with dignity and respect.
