I have been helped by these people at 3 different locations with many different staff members, counselors and habits. I would have been dead by now if I had made other choices here and there but after approx fifteen or eighteen years, I am still standing, and I can honestly say it is because of their selfless compassion and commitment to those who ask for their help. This is a great facility and the people I interacted with are even better. Specifically I'd like to mention Sandy and Tiffany.
Sandy was always extremely professional and cordial with me. Always asked how I was and expressed genuine concern for everyone.
To say that Tiffany is an excellent counselor would be an understatement. She takes the extra initiative to help her clients grow. Tiffant listened to all my needs and created a treatment plan tailored to my needs and aligned with the most current clinical methodology. People like this help you navigate through life and I am blessed to have participated and connected with people of this caliber. Thank you.

So I was here from August - December of 2024. I appreciate eilynn for being a good therapist and all that. I miss Stefanie and talking about her light-skinned boyfriend (hehe) and I miss Chevy ant Tay lots! Helped me so much and I hope they see this. The review is almost a year late but never to late! I'm so glad they didn't give up on me cus I was a crashout and got into a lot of holds. I'm doing so well today, though i discharged for a month and then headed to a mental hospital due to CRYING and then transferred to a residential and just got out. School was great and I'll never forget the teachers! King Zach, you are missed and remembered. SHEILA I MISS YOU SO MUCH! I lowkey forgot how to spell the staffs name that I gave the capybara to. And Aden, so very sorry for attacking you bro glad we made up near the end. I loved the staff so much and I hope they are still working there. Oh and the weird spelling of derrek (hope that's how you spell if) thanks for talking with me to the cops when I almost got arrested for biting a staff (😳) you helped so much. Anyway, peace out!

Reno, NV | Bristlecone Family Resources is a substance use and mental health treatment provider in Reno, Nevada offering outpatient counseling, residential treatment and transitional living services to individuals and families. The program addresses both substance use disorders and mental health concerns through a range of therapeutic and supportive services. | Treatments Programs Payment Options | Yes I just want to say one thing I've been struggling with recovering addictions since 2013 I've been in an active addiction years before that it's only when I got my daughter taken from me in 2013 that I actually wanted to stop and be the best parent I could be. My daughter was 5 years old at the time she was taken I was her only parent because her mother was in prison I've got her back two times since then but I have lost her due to my addiction issues I did not know how powerful this disease is until it took my child away two more times now I cannot see my daughter even though she still loves her dad and hopefully she's always been a daddy's girl shenow who lives with my sister thank God she didn't go into the system I need help really bad I can't seem to shake this shit I mean I'm on the verge of suicide because I can't deal with it anymore and neither can anybody that loves me they don't even talk to me anymore I need help somebody please help me oh yeah and to the people who are talking mad crap about this place I don't know these people from Anna Marie but I can tell you this that the ones who failed is because they chose to fail they didn't have nothing to do with the establishment there's always going to be people who don't want help and people who don't want to get right that's going to say stuff like this and it's going to take things the wrong way and take it to the wrong side of the fence everywhere You Go I mean these places are made for addicts of course it's going to be those addicts who don't want to get right we're going to use these places as needs to get more drugs and means to find more clients cuz it's so easy to pull somebody down it's harder to pull somebody up trust me I know I've been dealing with this for a long time I'm 43 years old and I've been drinking alcohol and doing dope since I was a teenager. So if you're bad mouth in this place or any place that's like this it has nothing to do with them it's all on your loved ones and yourself if your family member chose to use this in the wrong manner it was their choice this establishment and no other person in the world can make anybody do anything they don't want to do it's on them they chose wrong it's on them not the people trying to help

Step 2 and staff saved my life. They were the only ones who ever took the time to listen to me, believe me and show me a way of life that is effective. I was loved genuinely. I've been straight , except a few hiccups in the first few months. When I get the urge...I think about Karen when she says "play the tape". When I get emotional about my trauma, I think about Alyssa and being immediately mindful by smelling and applying lavendar. I make my bed by request of Katy, which shows stability and consistency. I lay down on my couch when I feel a panic attack coming like CJ taught me. ( my daughter still asks about CJ). I spent holidays with ladies who wanted to see my succeed. When I get triggered I question why and try to figure out why, as opposed to getting hammered. See... things happen to all of us... and it's ok to feel. I think that was one of the biggest things I learned. Essentially life is ok. It's going to be ok, it is ok, it was ok. And in case anyone's asking...we are doing well. I got my real estate license. To everyone that worked there, thank you so much for believing me and believing in me. Thank you much more for teaching me those things weren't my fault. Thank you so much more for making me into a force to be reckoned with... because I will pass that onto my kids too. I luv all yall - christy

My family member had an evaluation by her. She was very detailed and the evaluation took about an hour. I think the reason people are giving her bad reviews is because she is a good judge of character and can tell if she is being lied to. Because that’s what she is professionally trained to do. And as far as her “making money off people with substance abuse issues”.....it’s a service, it’s not going to be free. And it shouldn’t be cheap just because you have a drug problem. Take some responsibility for your actions that landed you there in the first place.
TheBecaann1

Dunno why people are giving her such bad reviews, especially this review: "People dying from drugs. This place and drug programs make money off someone trying to save their lives." Uh yeah, that's how SHE MAKES A LIVING. Sounds like this reviewer has boundary issues and wanted something for nothing. Doesn't work that way, buddy.
I received some good advice from her the one visit I had. Some advice that has helped me make changes that have helped keep me away from booze for awhile. But if you go to her, be prepared for a full assessment/evaluation. She will pull no punches and give a straight report...
