A terrific institution.

The organization is totally unresponsive. Incompetency of the administration, which one would believe that they don't care about patients.

They pretend to help you, and you pretend to feel better, because you will say or write down for them anything... just to get out of there.

I went in to have a colostomy. Everthing went fine, from check-in, to preparation to finish. Every person I encountered was warm, welcoming, caring and professional. They even gave us a highlighted map that showed my spouse where to pick me up.

ABSOLUTELY FIRST RATE/PROFESSIONAL CARE!! Much better and CONSISTENTLY better than the public providers in the local RENO area

My NP Danielle in the ER was by far the nicest, sweetest, kindest one yet. Thank you for fixing me up and being just outstanding at ur job. Vegas VA needs to come take lessons from you!!!

Cool and relaxing is the vibes of this place

Great place to go if you want to get clean and start a life of recovery. It's rehab not a summer camp, you get out of it what you put in. If you want true brotherhood the Serenity house is where your going to find it.

Worst treatment facility in all of the foothills. Staff are demeaning, arrogant and rude and the Director is just as God-awful. Go to Pathways or literally ANYWHERE but here.

Treatment is what you make of it as a patient. You have to put real work into your life. They are amazing and truly care. If you utilize the resources and make good choices things change for the better. It may take several tries but please keep trying. Life is worth living and it gets better. God bless you all for everything you have done for our community. You all are angels.

I have been helped by these people at 3 different locations with many different staff members, counselors and habits. I would have been dead by now if I had made other choices here and there but after approx fifteen or eighteen years, I am still standing, and I can honestly say it is because of their selfless compassion and commitment to those who ask for their help. That is the absolute real from a die hard junkie.

My wife is just beginning this journey and I pray we have made the right choice. She has hope in her eyes for the for the first time in a very very long time. The staff appear to be amazing! It's very clean. No loitering. No smoking right in front of building or right in front of the entrance/exit doors which i like alot . It shows class and that there is cleanliness and caring going on here. The nurses are great except for one person but the t e is always that one. . She is the intake nurse that occupies the back office next to the doctor she has a rancid attitude and myself and my wife dont care for her at all. She has an air about herself that she is above speaking to the patients...so no good morning from her and if you ask how are you doing today she rudely replies what can I help you with?!!!! But the male African American nurse is my and my wife's favorite. Super nice !!! Always smiling always chatty always eager to help with any questions even if it doesn't apply to his position or field he will find someone that can answer you. Those that dont know what it like g e thing clean and sober have no idea how ppl getting clean are already under pressure and dont need to feel anymore beneath society than they already do!!! That one young Hispanic intake nurse ruins many a patient's day i can tell someone really should talk to her about this attitude... The doctor who evaluates you and prescribes your dosage is amazing! She is tall beautiful with blonde hair and a single gold tooth!! She is eager to help very compassionate, understanding but let's you know that she is under federal guidelines and what she is doing is the best she is allowed but encourages you that you will reach your final and better dosage with in days. My wife's counselor is Micheal and he is amazing! Always smiling! Always has a light in his eyes! My wife adores him and is looking forward d to working with him and the gentleman across the hall who takes care of mental health! Yes they do mental as well here! and counseling !!! And they provide narcan and test trips free of charge!! Clean restroom clean waiting room my wife br9ngs her poodle mix Raul everywhere in there and no one says anything! This is hopefully the beginning of beautiful and meaningful medical relationship !!!

My son attended this RTC recently and was there for close to 2 months. Our experience at this location was better than I was expecting. My son's therapist Jessica was so caring and dedicated, she was firm, but loving, and worked with him to give him tools to be in a much better place leaving than where he started. Sara the other therapist was also fantastic. Although I didn't meet all the staff, my son made mention of other supporting staff members that he connected with. Thank you to the team at Discovery Granite Bay - Mood and Anxiety for making a difference.

I attended this place as a minor with extreme anxiety and was only treated with disrespect and hatred by many of the staff and even some of my peers who let it happen they forced me to do an activity i said i couldn't do due to my weight at the time which resulted in a sprained ankle for me and i was forced to hike on it anyways one of the staff was so insensitive and cruel it brought me to tears and act out of my normal character and i ran away from the program because i couldn't take how cruel they were which is funny if you knew my home life was but anyways i ended up getting kicked out of the program and unable to return because i was "too negative about the program" when i just wanted someone to actually try and support me in the way i needed and was failed by every adult in there and out of there

I went here around 2021, some of the workers there were incredibly nice and caring and I am forever grateful for that. but my therapist John was quite horrible. he said extremely invalidating stuff to both me and the people I knew there. he only met with me a couple of times. A later therapist I got actually told me they had worked with him and that he was not a good therapist. I wouldn’t fully recommend this residential, A lot of the workers are very kind but the therapists are bad.

Very quick service very small amount wait time. Been here 3 times & not had to wait more than 5 mins. Once I just sat down & they were call me in for my appt. Love Dr. Joe. Very attentive asks lots of questions checked out any concerns I had 5 👍 👍👍👍👍 up.

I/we are sooo very blessed to the dedicated & empathetic STAFF (J Brown, Joanne, Sara and Jacob to name a few) and many others. This place is next to HEAVEN. Be sure to to do SELF CARE and to take of each other so you can continue your mission statement: WE R ONE!! G/B

After plans to send my husband to a treatment facility in Texas unraveled, I was put in contact with David at Sierra Heath and Wellness. He explained everything thoroughly and we had my husband on a plane to California the next day. Throughout my husband’s stay he commented on how great the chefs/food was, how nice the nursing team was, and how helpful the councilors and therapists were. We are forever grateful for the work that Sierra Health and Wellness provides, and the continued support they have offered after treatment. We are hopeful for a bright future because of the help of these lovely people. Highly recommend!

The therapists, Doctors and reception staff are all knowledgeable and professional. This facility is an amazing asset for El Dorado County.

Before Covid I was blessed to have received the help I got here. I took an option for group therapy and it was a great experience. It has been almost a year past but I still use the techniques they taught me every day. I can easily say that EDCMH changed my life in a positive way.
