ALL OF THE STAFF ARE GREAT! THANK YOU FOR SAVING MY WIFE AND i. Special shout out to the staff for OUR SON. First off the front desk is always fast, Courteous, caring and compassionate even when us patients/dosers are not having the best day. Always smiles and good words. This is a beautiful, state-of-the-art hospital with so many helpful volunteers and staff. Like my last visit, I was quickly taken care of when I arrived and within five minutes, I headed back to Dr. Dunn’s office. The staff here in the general surgery section are fantastic, super friendly and true professionals. The minor surgical procedure was completed in no time, and I was out of the hospital in under one hour. There is also a food court on the first floor near the east entrance and the only complaint I have is with the parking lot – what a zoo. I have been a patient of his since he worked under another doctors practice and followed him. My wife, kids, and mom all love him. I have gotten a DM on the Vegas locals sub on reddit thanking me for recommending Dr. O because they thought he was such a great psychiatrist, and their kid is thriving now. I can not say enough good things. The bad, though, is he goes through front office staff quickly. For some reason, his medical assistants don't realize they're dealing with psychiatric patients. I thought The counseling cast of employees were really good teachers, guides for acknowledging that life is best while sober. I think that The WESTCARE program is an awesome way to get a clean start back to the life of Joy and great health. LEO , who is I believe still in charge of organizing and scheduling everything for the Men in the program. Leo is a TRULY amazing man that has been through it all with substance addiction. I remember he showed us while he lived in LA he was on the News for when he hit rock bottom. But teaching us how to be better Men mentally, physically and emotionally!. He said something I will never forget... He said everyone attempts to quit multiple times. But when you are truly ready is when you have reached total exhaustion. Tired of the every day struggles. Tired of being on the top bunk in jail and having the bright lights from the ceiling blasting in your face. You can't turn those off but instead have to consistently be bothered by them. Leo is the best mentor, counselor, teacher that a program could have. I always had the UP most respect for him and what ALL he brings to that program. My last interaction with him was when we won our last basketball game. Mike Richie was one of the more memorable councilors with his 4:30 a.m. formation call-out in the freezing weather just to tell you how great the weather is in the Bahamas. It's one of the most peaceful and beautiful places I've ever been to. I made a whole lot of great memories and friends up there. And would go back every summer to beat this Vegas heat and for the peace of mind this wonderful place on earth gives you.
