An incredible life changing experience. From my first conversations with Matt, John, and Hannah I was impressed with their kindness and willingness to work with me. And it didn’t stop there. Every member of the staff from top to bottom is in recovery and that is amazing. Counselors are top notch, sober living is great. I can’t speak highly enough of the people at steps recovery!

Please proofread your reviews!! Incoherent rants do not help anyone determine anything about this place, it only makes the reviewer look like an idiot who can’t even write a proper English sentence. You are doing a disservice to everyone who might really need help determining which clinic is right for them. This is a serious medical decision that people are making that could have life and death consequences so please take your reviews more seriously and re-read them for spelling and grammatical errors. Otherwise keep your incomprehensible diatribes to yourself. We will all thank you for your help keeping our Community well.

A loved one went here. One of the better places. They give weekend take-homes right away. One downside is you have to line up at 5:30 am to initially be admitted.

The Pathways inpatient facility gave me more than physical safety and care—it gave me something I had never truly known before: true emotional safety. The entire staff worked together to help me grow in the three areas of life that must be engaged—mind, body, and spirit. I walked in carrying a heavy prejudice against all men, but it was three men in particular who ended up aiding me the most, showing me that at our core, we really are all just human. My main therapist, Daryl, guided me through reshaping my mindset and digging into my past to uncover my deepest wounds. He stood by me on one of the most emotionally painful days of my life, and I will never forget Destiny—one of the incredible nurses—literally running after him as he was about to head home, just so he could be there for me in that moment. Dr. Sellers provided me with the best medical care I could have asked for. He never rushed through visits, always taking the time to explain not just what he was doing, but why—making sure I understood and felt safe with my treatment. I also want to thank Dawn, a powerhouse nurse who believed in my strength even when I couldn’t see it myself, and who pushed me to rise to the challenge. Michael Ryan gave me the gift of faith and clarity in my higher power. He challenged me in ways I desperately needed, helping me confront the destructive core beliefs that caused me so much suffering and turn them upside down. He gave me the tools to question my own thoughts, and to approach them with both curiosity and compassion. Somehow, even in the middle of facing the hardest truths, he still managed to make me laugh and feel safe. I would also like to thank Lonnie, whose powerful meditation sessions left a deep impact on me. His encouragement meant so much because it came from a place of such authenticity. To all of you—thank you not just for changing my life, but for teaching me how to truly live it to the fullest.

There are many wonderful organizations and people in service to helping others with treatment and recovery. For me, the right fit was, is, and will continue to be Pathways. These folks are authentic in their desire to help change lives. They are some of the most remarkable humans I have been blessed with coming across in life. They are talented and skilled, and well equipped to meet mental health and substance abuse needs. They are particularly experienced with integrating well-rounded trauma focused treatment, using a variety of evidence based treatment modalities. Pathways staff AND clients create a safe space of healing and growth, and a place of acceptance and belonging, and without judgement. As a pathways client, I feel a sense of unity, community, and unyielding support. Pathways has LITERALLY saved my life. They have helped me find healing, and open doors to change my life. They have equipped me with the confidence, strength, tools, and understanding of my root influences to my recovery needs to live a new life, my best life! A life of healing and happiness I have never experienced before. I will be in eternal gratitude for this very sacred organization. New Haven is great! They helped my daughter so much. They went above and beyond to help her and refer her to an appropriate long term care facility.

I went here myself from 14 to 16 years of age. I had many a horrific experience of assault and absolute neglect. I was put on so many conflicting medications that I'm still dealing with serious health issues today as a result. The food was no better than basic prison food, often finding plastic bits while eating. I had gotten food poisoning several times from the ridiculously poor quality of food, even finding mold in the prepackaged foodstuffs. One incident i was assaulted while in the shower and staff did nothing to stop it. I was even attacked in my bed one night and nearly had my throat slit by a fellow participant. Staff merely gave me a bandaid and told me I shouldn't be provoking people. I was asleep when it happened! Another time the other three girls that i shared a room with were planning to attempt to run away and when staff found out they lumped me in with the rest. They dragged me out of my classroom nearly breaking my arm. I protested and got my face slammed into a wall. I was thrown by my hair into the obs room while my nose was bleeding everywhere. I was given nothing to clean myself up and was left alone in the room till the next afternoon with no food or water. It was often freezing in those rooms as they were bare concrete and we were given nothing to help, being put in raggedy shorts and a t-shirt full of holes and no socks. I often begged my parents to take me out of there, but they were told lies by the staff that made them believe I was lying about everything I went through. Please please PLEASE do NOT send your children here!! I beg you to reconsider

I’m turning 40 soon. This place still haunts me. I was placed here by my adopted family, a father who sexually abused me and a family hiding a secret. I was treated as a mentally ill person. I was locked in a concrete cell for weeks on end and forced to take sedatives by threat that I would be tube fed if I refused. I was watched while showering, told I was a risk, not allowed to look out a window for 3-6 months. I have undergone years of intensive therapy. I have graduated college thanks to my own intellect, I have survived on my will, and my wits. I am now (no thanks to my experience here) a survivor, and an ally for others. Do not. Under any circumstances believe this is the only choice for your child. Ever.

I learned coping skills that I never thought even existed and I was able to learn how to connect with people and communicate in effective manners. I also learned about resources that I can use when I am outside of Annie's house as well and I learned it all at annie's

Amazing staff, amazing therapists, and amazing clients. Annie's house has been life saving. Such a homie environment and the best treatment in salt lake valley.

It was such a pleasant experience. I really enjoyed all of the therapy, education, recreation therapy and meetings that we went through. I thought that staff was exceptional and helpful. Everyone was so eager to pursue the success of this journey that I experienced at Annie's House. I am so grateful! I learned how to love myself in such a way that I haven't since maybe I was a young child. I feel so liberated and free! I have a connection with my higher power and that is all because of you guys!! Thank you for a new start and letting me come back!.

Diamond gave me my life back. These people truly care about you and your recovery. Diamond and their staff will always have a special place in my heart! I'm so grateful I got to experience life with them!
