Probably the most honest place in town with the only people who aren't going to lead you on, lie, and try to trick you, featuring the best doctor iv ever had in almost thirty years of being brought to places like this . You can expect the doctor to listen to what you have to say, believe in you,not demand all kinds of records most of which are now impossible to obtain after so long has passed, will give out Real medications to those who legitimately require them, and who's staff will go out of their way to help you . It's Lovelock's only redeeming quality whatsoever , you can live there for 3 years and barely make it out of there alive with this place being the only positive memory you have to take with you and remember forever . That says alot, for a place in a good old boys club run Do Nothing town infested with bad attituded republicans and a terrible thieving meth addict problem which they do Nothing About. If you have the misfortune of being trapped or forced to live in Lovelock, please let these people help you with your problems, you don't need to put up with the bad attitudes and shoddy uncaring nonpersonal level of care called Pershing General Clinic like so many people think is their only option there. My wife is just beginning this journey and I pray we have made the right choice. She has hope in her eyes for the for the first time in a very very long time. The staff appear to be amazing! It's very clean. No loitering. No smoking right in front of building or right in front of the entrance/exit doors which i like alot . It shows class and that there is cleanliness and caring going on here. The nurses are great except for one person but the t e is always that one.
. She is the intake nurse that occupies the back office next to the doctor she has a rancid attitude and myself and my wife dont care for her at all. She has an air about herself that she is above speaking to the patients...so no good morning from her and if you ask how are you doing today she rudely replies what can I help you with?!!!! But the male African American nurse is my and my wife's favorite. Super nice !!! Always smiling always chatty always eager to help with any questions even if it doesn't apply to his position or field he will find someone that can answer you. Those that dont know what it like g e thing clean and sober have no idea how ppl getting clean are already under pressure and dont need to feel anymore beneath society than they already do!!! That one young Hispanic intake nurse ruins many a patient's day i can tell someone really should talk to her about this attitude...
The doctor who evaluates you and prescribes your dosage is amazing! She is tall beautiful with blonde hair and a single gold tooth!! She is eager to help very compassionate, understanding but let's you know that she is under federal guidelines and what she is doing is the best she is allowed but encourages you that you will reach your final and better dosage with in days.
My wife's counselor is Micheal and he is amazing! Always smiling! Always has a light in his eyes! My wife adores him and is looking forward d to working with him and the gentleman across the hall who takes care of mental health! Yes they do mental as well here! and counseling !!! And they provide narcan and test trips free of charge!! Clean restroom clean waiting room my wife br9ngs her poodle mix Raul everywhere in there and no one says anything!

No one should trust this place to keep their loved ones safe at the most trying and vulnerable situations in their lives. Unless clients are willing to completely submit to the will of the almighty Laura (don’t let her smile fool you, she is surrounded by yes men and is cold and calculated) they are almost certain to find themselves at a loss here. On the outpatient level, relapses abound, and all they do is tell you that outpatient doesn’t help, that the only way to recover is to attend AA and NA meetings. Terrible counselors here, people who believe that being sober gives them moral superiority over all other addicts. They do not create individualized treatment plans, as much as they love to say they do, it will always come back to AA meetings. Inpatient is arguably worse. There are two actually qualified nurses here (one now, they fired the other one, probably too good at her job) the rest are MA’s. Two MA’s attempted to give my friend Narcan instead of his scheduled medication, because they thought that it was the medication (are you actually joking with this?). The center also tolerates sexual harassment, leading to an even larger feeling that there is a complete lack of safety here. They do not believe in the majority of their clients, I am choosing to recover simply out of spite, to prove that I am better than this awful place. Oh, also? Not registered in the state.

This is a great facility and the people I interacted with are even better. Specifically I'd like to mention Sandy and Tiffany.
Sandy was always extremely professional and cordial with me. Always asked how I was and expressed genuine concern for everyone.
To say that Tiffany is an excellent counselor would be an understatement. She takes the extra initiative to help her clients grow. Tiffant listened to all my needs and created a treatment plan tailored to my needs and aligned with the most current clinical methodology. People like this help you navigate through life and I am blessed to have participated and connected with people of this caliber. Thank you.

Shannon at the South Reno location was literally one of the best people I’ve ever met. She opened my mind to the best thing you can do for your life - think of the worst possible scenario and think of the options that you have from there. Never lose hope that you can change your life and recover from abuse beyond your comprehension. You can save your life by yourself if you have to. People only have power over you if you let them have it. Believe actions, not words. Master the masculine in yourself if you are a woman. Nurture the feminine in yourself if you are a man. Jealousy and thinking you’re not good enough does not serve your highest good. You can come back from the worst things imaginable. I was going to bring her some flowers to show that I’m okay because she helped save my life. In a strange twist of fate my cat was sick and no one listened, but when I went to AEC on S. Virginia, the woman who greeted me was named Shannon. That’s how I knew I could trust my gut and not stop fighting even if people tell you no.

I had a great experience at their inpatient and outpatient programs. They have an In house chef and the food is outstanding. The rooms are comfortable. The counselors are caring and have deep knowledge about the recovery process and provide great classes daily. CRC saved my life once again. I was here in August for 33 days. I gained so much knowledge of many coping skills, relapse prevention, what to do upon graduating. ...I unfortunately relapsed, consumed more alcohol than I ever have in my life for 7 days. It's like I went from 0 to 60. ...The problem was: I NEVER UTILIZED THOSE COPING SKILLS. I NEVER GOT A SPONSOR. I NEVER WENT TO OUTSIDE MEETINGS. I DID NOT PROGRAM. Granted, I attended their incredible aftercare program of 30 hours a week, once I left the 6 hour a day class - I DIDN'T PROGRAM! Upon graduating today, by the grace of God and CRC, I already have a sponsor, I've actually opened & read some of the Big Book, they are personally transferring me door to door to their aftercare. They are so many wonderful and grateful words that I could go on and on and about CRC. Without the dedication & guidance & sincere concern and knowledge from management, counselors and medical staff, I honestly don't believe I'd be here to write this. I will not give up. I'm happy today. And most importantly, I'm SOBER!

Fair Oaks Recovery Center provided me with an opportunity to rest, reflect, and recover from a lifestyle that was slowly killing me. I was referred to F.O.R.C after insurance complications with another facility, and I thank God that I was. This truly is an incredible program. From the general and medical staff to the clinical and leadership teams, every person I had the opportunity to work with was genuinely kind, caring, and truly invested in their effort to improve the lives of those they touch. I am now happy, healthy, and sober and would never have gotten back to where I am without the daily care and support of the facility.
To anyone who needs help and healing, go to Fair Oaks and try your hardest to stay until the miracle happens. Giving up a few weeks of your life is worth saving the rest of it.

After I got out of residential, I went straight to IOP . The support I received was amazing! Counselors took their time to get to know you and your situation . With the tools I learned in the recommendations of the counselors , I was ready to start a new life for myself. The whole New dawn experience literally saved my life! A chance to have this new life I thought was out of reach. But I have been sober for almost two years now .

I did an intake on 8/16/23 & was unsure what to expect. The facility is very clean and homelike. I looked for every reason to leave and regain my freedom although I was not ready. Pathways saved my life. I went there broken physically and mentally and left with hope and tools. The medical team was fantastic. Thank you to all of the nurses and staff. The leadership was present and accessible. The case managers were consistent, caring and knowledgeable. The food was great. Although cold, the pool served as a great wake up call in the morning and nightcap. The jacuzzi and outdoor shower were used consistently. The program works if you work it. I would recommend pathways to anybody close to me. The gym and breath work classes are great. Just a really well run, organized and caring environment.

Pathways Recovery Gave Us Our Daughter Back
When my daughter showed up at Pathways Recovery, she was drinking 10 Fireballs a day—plus gin. She was completely broken, emotionally, spiritually, and physically. As a parent, it’s heartbreaking to watch your child spiral like that and feel powerless to help. We were desperate for something or someone who could reach her.
From the very first phone call, Jennifer in admissions was amazing. She treated us with kindness and compassion, and she made us feel like there was still hope. Getting our daughter admitted felt like the first step toward saving her life.
The team at Pathways took her in, detoxed her safely, and showed her a new way to live—a life that doesn’t include alcohol. They didn’t just help her stop drinking; they helped her rediscover herself. They gave her tools, structure, and support to start healing from the inside out.
What meant so much to us was how responsive and communicative the staff was. They kept us informed, answered every question, and genuinely cared about our daughter’s well-being. We could feel that she wasn’t just another client—she was someone they truly wanted to help.
The facility itself is peaceful and comfortable—a large, beautiful home tucked into the foothills outside Roseville, with a pool and a calm, healing atmosphere. It was the perfect place for her to start over.

This place is the place to go if you need help. I was addicted to opiates and I wanted some where that wasn't going to give me suboxone or methadone. A place I would totally recommend. It's a place where people from all walks of life can face their addictions and not be embarrassed. The staff, owners, and the other 97% of affiliates that you encounter are all in recovery which makes it even better. Cause how can a person understand your fight who has never fought themselves. And the gourmet chef who cooks all your meals is even more of a plus. Swimming in the summer, volleyball, and your family can also come to visit. Your not overwhelmed with meetings constantly. You actually learn about addiction and what your going through while working the steps at your own pace without the pressure of expectations. It's an experience to remember truly.

Just gave this place a call after suicide hotline let me down, didn't realize it wasn't an actual crisis line.
However, Monique, was happy to sit there and talk to me for as long as she could before duty called.
She's easily one of the best employees you guys have ever hired, her heart, attitude, and overall demeanor exceeded every single expectation I had.

You work for a residential crisis center, not a crisis hotline, however as you weren't busy you took the time to speak with me.
Because of this time you spent with me I have hung my knives and will keep my head up at least for a while, I was slowly but surely digging myself into that depressive hole and you threw a rope in and dragged me right out with your beautiful attitude, personality, and overall awesomeness.

What an incredible experience. After 35 years of alcohol abuse I came here a broken shell of myself.
