Probably the most honest place in town with the only people who aren't going to lead you on, lie, and try to trick you, featuring the best doctor iv ever had in almost thirty years of being brought to places like this . You can expect the doctor to listen to what you have to say, believe in you,not demand all kinds of records most of which are now impossible to obtain after so long has passed, will give out Real medications to those who legitimately require them, and who's staff will go out of their way to help you . It's Lovelock's only redeeming quality whatsoever , you can live there for 3 years and barely make it out of there alive with this place being the only positive memory you have to take with you and remember forever . That says alot, for a place in a good old boys club run Do Nothing town infested with bad attituded republicans and a terrible thieving meth addict problem which they do Nothing About. If you have the misfortune of being trapped or forced to live in Lovelock, please let these people help you with your problems, you don't need to put up with the bad attitudes and shoddy uncaring nonpersonal level of care called Pershing General Clinic like so many people think is their only option there. I have been helped by these people at 3 different locations with many different staff members, counselors and habits. I would have been dead by now if I had made other choices here and there but after approx fifteen or eighteen years, I am still standing, and I can honestly say it is because of their selfless compassion and commitment to those who ask for their help. That is the absolute real from a die hard junkie.

My wife is just beginning this journey and I pray we have made the right choice. She has hope in her eyes for the for the first time in a very very long time. The staff appear to be amazing! It's very clean. No loitering. No smoking right in front of building or right in front of the entrance/exit doors which i like alot . It shows class and that there is cleanliness and caring going on here. The nurses are great except for one person but the t e is always that one.
. She is the intake nurse that occupies the back office next to the doctor she has a rancid attitude and myself and my wife dont care for her at all. She has an air about herself that she is above speaking to the patients...so no good morning from her and if you ask how are you doing today she rudely replies what can I help you with?!!!! But the male African American nurse is my and my wife's favorite. Super nice !!! Always smiling always chatty always eager to help with any questions even if it doesn't apply to his position or field he will find someone that can answer you. Those that dont know what it like g e thing clean and sober have no idea how ppl getting clean are already under pressure and dont need to feel anymore beneath society than they already do!!! That one young Hispanic intake nurse ruins many a patient's day i can tell someone really should talk to her about this attitude...
The doctor who evaluates you and prescribes your dosage is amazing! She is tall beautiful with blonde hair and a single gold tooth!! She is eager to help very compassionate, understanding but let's you know that she is under federal guidelines and what she is doing is the best she is allowed but encourages you that you will reach your final and better dosage with in days.
My wife's counselor is Micheal and he is amazing! Always smiling! Always has a light in his eyes! My wife adores him and is looking forward d to working with him and the gentleman across the hall who takes care of mental health! Yes they do mental as well here! and counseling !!! And they provide narcan and test trips free of charge!! Clean restroom clean waiting room my wife br9ngs her poodle mix Raul everywhere in there and no one says anything!

This is a great facility and the people I interacted with are even better. Specifically I'd like to mention Sandy and Tiffany.
Sandy was always extremely professional and cordial with me. Always asked how I was and expressed genuine concern for everyone.
To say that Tiffany is an excellent counselor would be an understatement. She takes the extra initiative to help her clients grow. Tiffant listened to all my needs and created a treatment plan tailored to my needs and aligned with the most current clinical methodology. 12-3-25 Went in to St. Mary’s Hospital to have a Surgical Procedure done & Everything ran Smoothly & almost on time. Do to unfortunate circumstances 30 mins before my Surgery it was Cancelled due to an Emergency. This is Totally understandable, though disappointed & was prepped for everything including night before things & morning things, I understood. My Nurse MaryAnn was Wonderful! She was Very Caring & Gentle ( especially when putting in IV ) & explained everything to me. I’m Very Grateful for Her Kindness & Care!! I will be going back @ some point to finish my surgery. From 1st check-in to leaving Everyone was Amazing!!! Thank U All Very Much!!!
I went to get an X-Ray & Everyone was Very Pleasant & Professional from the Kind Woman @ Front Desk to the Technician that took X-Ray. No waiting @ Front Desk & after checking in only waited about 5 mins. I hadn’t made an appointment before I went. I would Highly Recommend!

Shannon at the South Reno location was literally one of the best people I’ve ever met. She opened my mind to the best thing you can do for your life - think of the worst possible scenario and think of the options that you have from there. Never lose hope that you can change your life and recover from abuse beyond your comprehension. You can save your life by yourself if you have to. People only have power over you if you let them have it. Believe actions, not words. Master the masculine in yourself if you are a woman. Nurture the feminine in yourself if you are a man. Jealousy and thinking you’re not good enough does not serve your highest good. You can come back from the worst things imaginable. I was going to bring her some flowers to show that I’m okay because she helped save my life. In a strange twist of fate my cat was sick and no one listened, but when I went to AEC on S. Virginia, the woman who greeted me was named Shannon. That’s how I knew I could trust my gut and not stop fighting even if people tell you no.

I was treated for non epeleptic seizures. With a workbook, individual counseling, and the support of friends I not only have had no seizures in 5 months but I have gotten rid of panic attacks. It was a lot of work but worth it. The counselor guided and challenged me, gave me homework, made me look at my errors so I could correct them and encouraged me when I fell short.

If you are looking for a true recovery community, supportive staff that have done the work themselves, healthy and satisfying food, and the medicine that only mountain air can administer, come here. I had a great experience at their inpatient and outpatient programs. They have an In house chef and the food is outstanding. The rooms are comfortable. The counselors are caring and have deep knowledge about the recovery process and provide great classes daily. I had an all-around great experience, would highly recommend if you are struggling with addiction. Just go you got this!

CRC saved my life once again. I was here in August for 33 days. I gained so much knowledge of many coping skills, relapse prevention, what to do upon graduating. ...I unfortunately relapsed, consumed more alcohol than I ever have in my life for 7 days. It's like I went from 0 to 60. ...The problem was: I NEVER UTILIZED THOSE COPING SKILLS. I NEVER GOT A SPONSOR. I NEVER WENT TO OUTSIDE MEETINGS. I DID NOT PROGRAM. Granted, I attended their incredible aftercare program of 30 hours a week, once I left the 6 hour a day class - I DIDN'T PROGRAM! Upon graduating today, by the grace of God and CRC, I already have a sponsor, I've actually opened & read some of the Big Book, they are personally transferring me door to door to their aftercare. They are so many wonderful and grateful words that I could go on and on and about CRC. Without the dedication & guidance & sincere concern and knowledge from management, counselors and medical staff, I honestly don't believe I'd be here to write this. I will not give up. I'm happy today. And most importantly, I'm SOBER!

Starla, who was assigned as his counselor, has been nothing short of amazing. She goes out of her way to make sure he feels comfortable, and she truly takes the time to connect with her patients in a meaningful way. Her dedication and empathy have made a world of difference.
D has also been incredible, except her being a Cowboys fan, she is very supportive, kind, and always present. And the doctor caring for my friend has provided outstanding attention and compassion throughout his treatment.
It is clear that everyone at your facility truly cares. It shows in the way they listen, support, and treat each individual with dignity and respect. Oh where to even begin. The main issue I saw within Vitality was the lack of professionalism. Staff would talk poorly about other clients to other clients, share their night out plans and talk about drinking. The staff had zero effective communication with one another. You were called out in front of the entire clientele about any flaws. The female staff tend to favorite the male clients and show flirty or inappropriate behavior towards the males. The cooks had a very very poor attitude, asking simple questions and being shut down almost immediately. Absolutely no structure, one thing people with addictive personality’s need is structure. Going to back to lack of professionalism- a counselor word for word said “well I have the right to say what I feel and I could go to a client and say another client is a piece of s*** and I have a right to say how I feel” but if a client has any behavioral issues, even “expressing how they feel” that client is removed immediately.
Prior to graduating the program, the clinic does a “coin out” where you receive a coin with the serenity prayer on it and everyone in the group can put words of encouragement into the coin, I was told by staff that you can take that coin, go literally next door where there’s a sports bar, turn in that said coin to the bartender and receive a free drink. To me it seems as if the staff could care less if you recover or not, they’re getting a pay check regardless.
Now on a personal note, I was assaulted during my stay and the lack of empathy and regard that the staff shown was utmost disrespectful, the other client left on their own terms which seemed to “solve” the situation. It was kind of a weird situation to begin with but I was extremely uncomfortable.
The counselor I had at the beginning had absolutely no emotion when I would express my feelings or emotions to that person, it was as if I was talking to a wall, no empathy, they seemed to simply not care what I had to say.
I’m not sure if it was staffing issues which seems to be an excuse for most company’s but I do not recommend this place to anyone. It felt as if it was High School all over again but worst.

I was only here for five days, but in those 5 days I learned so many tools and have so many resources. The staff is absolutely amazing and take care of you really well they make you feel heard and seen. I would definitely recommend going here if you are struggling with mental health and addiction.

Fair Oaks Recovery Center provided me with an opportunity to rest, reflect, and recover from a lifestyle that was slowly killing me. I was referred to F.O.R.C after insurance complications with another facility, and I thank God that I was. This truly is an incredible program. From the general and medical staff to the clinical and leadership teams, every person I had the opportunity to work with was genuinely kind, caring, and truly invested in their effort to improve the lives of those they touch. I am now happy, healthy, and sober and would never have gotten back to where I am without the daily care and support of the facility.
To anyone who needs help and healing, go to Fair Oaks and try your hardest to stay until the miracle happens. Giving up a few weeks of your life is worth saving the rest of it.
