I did my first intake appointment with a new employee Vernessa Villar, from the Dayton office. I felt so compelled to leave a review about how incredible and sweet she is. It was a joy speaking to her to the point that the appointment flew by and I wished it hadn't ended. She is kind, compassionate, nonjudgmental intelligent, and caring. California recovery center literally saved my life. There are very few times In your life when you can say this with absolute conviction, and this is one of them. The Intake process was handled with absolute care and concern for my circumstance. The staff took care of my insurance and was able to get in the day after I made contact. I called other facilities and the first thing that they wanted to talk about was money, which was a huge turn off. CRC Isn t a giant facility with tons of people where you can get lost in the shuffle and that was exactly what I was looking for. All of the counselors at CRC Know what it s like to go through addiction and as a person trying to recover that made all the difference. It wasn t theory to them. Meals were prepared by an on-site chef who actually got me to eat my veggies Which is a miracle in itself. The senior staff were also wonderful In making sure everything ran smoothly. When I contacted California Recovery Center what first caught my attention was how understanding and helpful Rachel was. She was the woman that assisted me with finding help for my mom. Before I began the intense outpatient care program, I had reached a point in my life where everything felt like it was falling apart. My relationships were strained, my patience with my children and family had all but vanished, and I carried around a sense of emptiness that seemed impossible to fill. I vividly remember feeling isolated and uncertain terrified that I d never become the kind of father, son, or brother I always believed I could be. It was as if I were drifting without an anchor, while those who depended on me watched me struggle from the shore.Enrolling in the intense outpatient program wasn t a simple step for me. It required admitting that I needed help and trusting that others had the tools to guide me when I couldn t guide myself. From the very first session, I was struck by the sense of understanding and compassion I encountered. The structure of the program was rigorous enough to challenge me, but flexible enough to respect the pace of my healing. It incorporated deeply reflective therapy sessions, skill-building workshops, and group dialogues that helped me recognize my own patterns of behavior, the root of my emotional pain, and the ways I could address it all without shutting down.As the weeks passed, I learned techniques for managing the overwhelming feelings that once controlled me. I practiced active listening and boundary-setting, found healthier ways to cope with stress, and redefined what it meant to show strength and vulnerability in front of those I love. Over time, I came to understand that my anger, my fatigue, and my moments of detachment didn t make me a bad person; they were signs I was struggling with something deeper. With the support of therapists and fellow participants, I learned to forgive myself, to treat my own emotions with kindness, and to ask for help before things reached a breaking point.This shift inside me had profound effects on my relationships. My children began to see a more patient and present father someone who could sit calmly with them, help with homework, or just listen to their stories at the end of the day without distraction. My interactions with my parents softened. Instead of feeling ashamed that I was a disappointment, I started to appreciate their concern and love. I learned how to communicate honestly with my siblings, no longer letting pride or fear prevent me from being there for them as much as they were there for me.The program didn t just help me survive it showed me how to live more fully and authentically. I no longer feel like I m just holding on by my fingertips, waiting for the next moment to implode. Now, I m engaged in my own growth, taking responsibility for my emotions, and actively working on being the stable, caring presence my family needs. Diamond House Detox is absolutely an excellent and amazing recovery house and program! I have tried several different rehab facilities but Diamond House is by far the best! The staff are super friendly, knowledgeable and supportive. The curriculum and groups are very balanced and engaging. Diamond House has literally saved my life! The owner Vicky isn t just doing this for the money, she is also very compassionate about each and every patient. They also do art therapy, music therapy, meditation and sound bowls. A workout trainer come out five days a week to do cross fit, weightlifting, boxing, and yoga. They also have cinema therapy every Sunday and every Saturday they take us for an outing either bowling, dance class, pool tables and ping-pong and Equine therapy with horses. I was only here for five days, but in those 5 days I learned so many tools and have so many resources. The staff is absolutely amazing and take care of you really well they make you feel heard and seen. I would definitely recommend going here if you are struggling with mental health and addiction.

I've been going to this clinic for several years now. I love in Roseville and there is a clinic 5 mins from me. I love this clinic because of the counselors and person who work there. They listen to your problems and also talk with you concerning all your issues and what's on your mind. I started at Ageus it was a joke. The told me that they don't take in patients that are homeless or not dressed well, because it makes their clinic look bad. I was furious when I heard this. I've had no problems with Bart and continue to stay there. There are many other reasons why I go here, but those are the most. Hope this helps. Gayle

Today is my "clean date" and as of TODAY I have 1 year clean and sober. This Facility saved my life! I've made several attempts at sobriety before stepping into New Dawn, but none of them approached the disease of addiction like New Dawn. They have such a different approach at treating addiction. Reiki, massage therapy, equine therapy, ECT. The staff is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Extremely knowledgeable, and helpful. These people truly are there to help people. If you're considering getting sober New Dawn is, in my opinion, the best treatment center in the state of California. Possibly the country.
