Only have great things to say about the staff at Alliance. They do really look into diving deep into things and really support clients. I can say I learned more than I thought I was going to learn and I feel now a better self with a new set of tools and cognizant about resources available.I highly recommend services provided by this office as they are not just looking to check the box but to deliver results to clients.Only recommendation is to provide clients with a digital and transparent way to track visits other than paper hard copies for traceability reasons.

Dr. Tigges has provided me with services for nearly 3 years, my experience has been nothing but positive. She is attentive and supportive, remains neutral and has overall been wonderful to work with and will continue to see her for services in the future. She offers valuable insight, I feel supported, listened to, valued and respected by her and overall she remains flexible to each other's schedule. When we've discussed family matters her insight is valuable and I can see how important family and children's well-being is to her.

Medicare is a federal program that provides health insurance for those 65 and older. It also serves people under 65 with chronic and disabling health challenges. To use Medicare for addiction treatment you need to find a program that accepts Medicare and is in network with your plan. Out of pocket costs and preauthorization requirements vary, so always check with your provider.

Military members, veterans, and eligible dependents have access to specific insurance programs that help them get the care they need. TRICARE and VA insurance can help you access low cost or no cost addiction and mental health treatment. Programs that accept military insurance often have targeted treatment focused on the unique challenges military members, veterans, and their families face.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient
Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.
aftercare iconAftercare Support
Completing a drug or alcohol rehab program shouldn't spell the end of substance abuse treatment. Aftercare involves making a sustainable plan for recovery, including ongoing support. This can include sober living arrangements like halfway houses, career counseling, and setting a patient up with community programs like Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) or Narcotics Anonymous (NA).

Alliance phycological service ,has been an awesome ,and very effective in my treatment this past year .the whole team is wonderful and very knowledgeable in helping guys like me,that nobody knew what to do with . The phycologist who help me ,miss Martin ,is very good if not the best phycologist I have ever been to.she has taught me a lot of coping skills, and has help me to be okay with who I am.she help me bring closure to a lot of my mental issuesls and trauma at this point ,I don't even have any suicidal ideations. The price to see a phycologist at alliance is very affordable. my outlook on life has changed and I am a better human being .I highly recommend alliance ,to see a phycologist.it really changed my life for the better.people have seeing the difference and ,and I am a productive member of society and I am not a head case any more. The team works very hard for clients to get better, they really truly care, like I said my phycologist miss. Martin is 2nd to none, the best psychologist I have ever had ,bar none. Everybody thought I would never become sane or have sanity in my life, she works extremely hard to help people in my situation .I will be eternally greatful and thankful to her ,the team. I wish I would have attended alliance a long time ago ,my life would have been easier and better, honestly and truly. Ismael lanzas .

I don’t know where to start. I’m really nervous about posting this so I’m concealing my real name because I’ve seen how Dr. Tigges shames people but I have to add my voice to the reviews on her because she’s a really evil woman. I got a second opinion through my lawyer and the guy said he hasn’t retired because Tigges is so bad he feels like he has to be there for the sake of kids she’ll otherwise hurt. What other posters have said about her using computer programs instead of real data is true. She definitely is all about money and she won’t even start anything until she gets every penny she asks for. Are these judges stupid that appoint her? My case was pretty clear cut and I didn’t think there could even be a possibility of an issue, so naturally I didn’t try to change court appointed evaluator in such a clear cut case. True to the reviews this woman can get anything wrong. I’ve been to psychiatrists and psychologists and even social workers who have better grasps on issues than this woman. Her work delayed everything, and created problems that didn’t need to be created. I almost think she purposely makes comments in her reports that don’t even match the real test results to keep herself earning money on the cases. As others have said, it’s not about her guesses or hearsay, it’s about facts that she doesn’t take the time to investigate. Someone needs to report her or sue her. She’s terrible. Stay away from Malissa Tigges no matter what. Look at her social media, she’s arrogant too.

It’s all about the money. The best thing Tigges does is promote herself through the “court circuit,” I’ve heard she attends every event possible to get her name in front of all the judges. BE WARNED-YOU DO NOT HAVE TO ACCEPT HER ON YOUR CASE-DO NOT-THERE ARE QUALIFIED PSYCHOLOGISTS WHO DO THEIR JOBS FOR THE RIGHT REASONS. I read the reviews on Yelp but didn’t believe anyone could be that bad, but Malissa Tigges is truly a disgrace. Thankfully my children are ok today and getting therapy for the trauma Tigges facilitated. Tigges report was pure conjecture-not fact based-and it prolonged what was already a horrific situation for my children and myself. I can go on and on but this woman should not be allowed to practice let alone have a say in child custody cases or time sharing. She blatantly lied stating I never signed releases despite having me sign the releases twice, once during the marathon testing she conducted with no debriefings (not supposed to happen). She is lazy and doesn’t do an investigation, didn’t even speak to relevant doctors. Tigges decides what side and then uses whatever information they feed her to inform her written statements-which are opinions and often contradict the factual data. In this case she had no business making any recommendations without doing thorough testing on all parties-and as a psychologist should never have agreed to make recommendations without examining all sides. Psychology is a science not an art and there is no room for pure conjecture or interviews with third parties who heard something from someone but didn’t know anything directly. Relying on anecdotal information and making statements like “fine now BUT…” with no basis is not psychology. She even said she had worked with a psychiatrist to get very important records she never even tried to get, but turned out he was dead before she even graduated high school (I DO fact check). She uses antiquated terminology I’m guessing she googled while creating her reports. Facts need to be taken as facts and hearsay as just that. She did a terrible, if not negligent, job and that isn’t my lay opinion but is the opinion of three other consultant psychologists and a psychiatrist. Every attorney involved including the children’s attorneys disagreed entirely with Tigges. The case finally ended when all attorneys but the petitioners spoke loud and clear as to what was in the best interest of the children; being in the sole custody of their mother with ZERO contact or visitations with insane grandparents. She really could have hurt my children. It is sad that someone could have ended their suffering so much earlier and chose to prolong it and scarier yet, could cite the active alcoholism and abuse yet think children should be around an active alcoholic and a narcissist. She shows little understanding of complex psychological issues and less insight into cluster b personality disorders than some of the lawyers involved; who thankfully showed a deep intelligence for what was really going on. Be warned she is overly impressed by money and I heard from more than one psychologist in Miami that she actually has a mean streak. The woman really belongs nowhere near families. I’ve seen the flippant responses she gives to these reviews purposely stating information she should not be divulging in public, very professional as usual. Please just spare me the defensive responses-EVERYONE disagreed with her assessment and these were psychologists and a psychiatrist all of whom had degrees from very prestigious institutions with far more experience. THEY EVISCERATED her report. I can only imagine the shoddy work she has done to others. She truly did more harm than any other single person involved in my case. It is dangerous when someone so money focused taking steady court work is essentially using computer programs and cram sessions and presumptuously, and arrogantly, believing that alone can determine what is in the best interest of a child or children. Calling yourself a forensic psychologist doesn’t make you one.

8/10/23 I have yet to receive a copy of my file, nor my son’s file. They have the signed and notarized releases they requested from me and I have clarified this already, but nope, they simply refuse to release our medical records to me. ————— Dr. Tigges; I did not expect that you/your office will take any accountability. You continue to underestimate others and it clearly shows on your response to my review. Did you really think I am unaware that you can see and reply to my post? Sadly, you do not decide how you are to charge the patients for the services rendered to them, even if is $0.01, specially if you MUST charge their medical insurance. You also did not only charge $25 for the services as you have mentioned and I have proved it. You and I are very well aware of other things that I am not disclosing, but that I have documented and provided to other sources as I deemed necessary. Review your emails with your staff or yourself, so that you can obtain said releases and provide me with the all of the medical records that I continue to request and have not received to date, which as I stated, its been over 60 days and by law and office policy, you should provide no later than 30 days. Run for your life!!!! If you have a choice, I recommend you seek another provider. In case that you were ordered services through court, do yourself a favor and request a new referral from the FCS case manager, not even with a court ordered referral detailing the specific services, they were able to follow. I went and still am going through a very unpleasant experience with them, to say the least. There is a tremendous lack of professionalism, attention to details, financial mistakes, poor therapy services, etc.. There are no parking spaces - maybe zero to one. The rooms in which the sessions are held are depressing, very old furniture and seats/sofas that sink down low making it very uncomfortable to go through the sessions and looks like they've been picked up from the side of the road - with the exception of Dr. Tigges' special room, who is the director and owner. Her room is very welcoming, it has new cohesive furniture, very clean and pleasant to be in... My 12/13 yo son was assigned to three different therapists and without my consent/nor input, the last one must to have been no more than 23 yo (not the right therapist to handle my case) and I would be simply informed after the fact. The therapists are all pursuing their careers and tend to come and go often, even the judge in our case was concerned to hear this information. The fact that our family court case was a high conflict case, was undermined at many different levels. They charged my credit card on file, the father's credit card and some times my insurance. They should have always billed my insurance and split the co-pays 50/50 between the father and I. It took me three to four months to get their attention about the over charges, which at the end were never resolved which prompted me to follow different methods in order to report them and get my money back. There is so much more, but I hope that by now this has called your attention to make a better choice for your best interest, because they sure do not have it in them. The last thing I want to add is that I have yet to receive all medical records on file which I requested over sixty days and continue to follow up on. It is their policy to provide within thirty days of the patient's request. Good luck!

Took 6 months for a report knowing that I could not see my child until report was done. She did not care. She would say certain things in the report with no explanation. The mother of my child kept me away from the child for 1.5 years my daughter is now 3. The doctor did not speak on this. Instead she wanted me to take classes because I shook my head. What she said about me in the report she did not state the reasoning in which is unethical. Paid 6450 dollars some of it was for documents she asked for and she did review but charged like she did. The proof that she did not review it is the transcript said on March 9, 2020 we are not reviewing unsupervised time sharing until the report is done. Report was very bias and the mother hired her. The psychologist put recommendations for visitation but never seen me with my kid. The psychologist is culturally blind. I stated she is a white girl with red her she knows nothing about a black man and she proved me right in court. I told her I always have a body camera when I'm around the mother she stated paranoid disorder. She stated this in court not knowing I just came from a domestic violence injunction from November 13, 2020 to August 10, 2021 and I have not seen my ex wife since June 16, 2020. I would encourage you to find a psychologist that is reported with the ABA this psychologist is not they are bounded ethically. I reported her to the board. They stated by law they can not do anything unless I file a motion with the Judge and they get rid of her. Tigges will write down all of the gossip what each party says that,s about it. She told the Judge the first Judge left because I was toxic meanwhile there was a court order that he signed stating that he was advised. Psychologist are not supposed to speak on things that are not accurate in court she spoke on a lot of things she knew nothing about. Her not giving the report in a timely matter affected the time sharing drastically.
