He finally agreed to go into another inpatient program and went to Reprieve this time. Previous rehab stints did not have much of an effect on him, and as soon as he was out, he went right back to his old habits. Reprieve was different. While he was at Reprieve, he would call me each week and tell me how he was learning about himself and different coping skills. This was not the case with other rehabs. As with any group setting, there will always be some angst when dealing with other individuals, but he managed to stay out of trouble, which was a first for him. He has been doing well since he got out, and I am learning to trust him again. For the first time in a very long time, he has a positive outlook and hope for the future. Reprieve's program works! I spent 3 weeks at Bradford Warrior and I got so much out of it. Nice meals 3 times a day plus plenty of snacks, sodas, water, gatorade, and after hours food. The classes and therapy sessions were well thought out and beneficial for my recovery. The staff really wanted the best for me and I made sure I showed up to everything because I can only get out of it what I put into it. I'm over a month sober now and don't even think about alcohol, even when I'm around it. I miss the girls in my cottage and the other cottages. We all became very close and supportive of one another. I'm really glad I decided to do it. I don't regret it one bit.

I’m only 4 days in but let me tell you though it works! I have battled fentanyl addiction for over 3 years and if you are an addict of the same caliber then you know there’s no detoxing without help off that demon! I went to this place as a last resort to impatient with no expectations since nothing else has ever worked and let me tell you I haven’t felt as “normal” if that’s a word I can use to describe it as in years even before the addiction took hold..I have energy and I am clear headed.. you have to give this a try you won’t be sorry! From the front desk, to the counselor, the nurse, the doctor I mean even the clinic director and other counselors these people care! They don’t treat you like someone who doesn’t deserve help or like it’s your own fault your where you are. Idk I guess I just am so surprised yet grateful to be free from the monkey on my back I want everyone to know they can be free to..I hope this finds and helps someone else get on the same track to living again!

In the 10+ years I have been battling addiction, 8 of which were in a MAT of some sort, and spanning across 5 US states, I have never encountered the level of compassion, professionalism, and just plain old fashioned wholeheartedness in the care and treatment radiating from every staff member at the Med Mark treatment center in Dothan. I was always just a number anywhere else. Here, I walk in the door and feel like they are happy I made it that day. This may seem like an exaggeration to some but it's considered an understatement by me. Thank you, Med Mark, for going that extra mile to help me.

In a time when recovery is often stigmatized, compassionate staff with lived experience is KEY to connecting on a personal level with people going through substance abuse recovery, and in my opinion, Montgomery Metro Treatment Center and everyone working there, from the receptionist, to the counselors, the nurses, and the doctor, are all godsends.
If you are apprehensive about getting help here, please, I urge you to come inside and just ask to speak with any of the counselors, or nurse Tony. You WILL be taken care of here, you will be seen not as an addict but as a person looking to make a change, take the first step.

This place isn't too bad. They have a very high turnover rate as far as counselors and pharmacy techs go. Always new employees rotating in and out. The director is fair and friendly, I like her a lot. There are a few counselors that have been there for a long time though, they are awesome and for the most part always willing to help resolve an issue. I guess the biggest downside to this place is all the drama that goes down in the parking lot before the place even opens, lawd there's some crazy folks that go here!

My favorite location to dose at. The director is super nice and you can tell she cares. The receptionist is very nice and doesn’t ever seem like she’s upset to be at work, really welcoming. The nurses are great too but the nurse Tony is the MVP in my opinion 😂 She’s always on top of things when I guest dose there and always atleast seems like she’s happy to be there and to help. In my experience it’s almost a thankless job and most people expect so much and can be super rude at clinics, but this clinic actually cares and does their best and you can tell.

As a former therapist at Birmingham Recovery Center, I had the privilege of witnessing firsthand the incredible compassion and dedication that defines this facility. The team here is truly unmatched in their commitment to providing high-quality, individualized care for every client who walks through the door.
BRC goes beyond just treating addiction—they focus on healing the whole person, addressing mental health, trauma, and the underlying factors that contribute to substance use. The clinical staff is highly skilled, deeply empathetic, and unwavering in their mission to support lasting recovery.
Having worked in the field for years, I can confidently say that Birmingham Recovery Center is the preeminent treatment facility in Alabama. Their approach is evidence-based, their environment is welcoming and supportive, and their passion for recovery is undeniable. Anyone seeking help for themselves or a loved one will find a level of care here that is truly life-changing.

I owe everything in my amazing new (sober) life to Reprieve! I attended their 6 month residential treatment program and then stayed for 3 more months in sober living. I knew I needed to make a change in my behaviors, as well as take time to really learn about myself through in-depth therapy in an enclosed and safe environment. The Reprieve was the perfect place for me.
The staff is the highlight for me - they each challenged and supported me in their own way. They were my biggest cheerleader and most patient confidant. They were in contact with my friends and family often. They set excellent examples of what it was like to be sober and have a wonderful and fulfilled life. I am still in touch with some of them today and I know they will always have my back.
I appreciated the structured schedule of our days (groups, meals at consistent times, outings in the afternoons and meetings every evening). Groups like Life Skills, DBT Skills and going through the 12 steps gave me so many tools I didn’t have before. I learned how to set boundaries, manage expectations, how to ask for what you want and be true to my own specific needs.
Most importantly, I learned humility. I can acknowledge when I’m wrong, I can recognize when I’ve pushed my energy limit, and I’m able to help another person who is struggling with no intention of personal gain. To this day, my goal is to be the best, most honest and authentic version of me, Laura. The Reprieve believed in me so I could ultimately believe in myself and I have profound gratitude for the people and teachings in their program ❤️

I spent almost 25 years of my life in addiction. I was most certainly lost in the darkness. I had nothing, no home, car, food, identification, family and most of all, I had no hope. I remember my aunt picking me up from jail one of the multiple times asking me why I didn't consider a program. I was 38 y/o and had never considered the possibility that my life could truly be transformed. My response to her was "it's too late for that, I'm too far gone & I've done way too much damage to repair". I made that comment not knowing the love, faithfulness or magnitude of who God is. The thought of trying life a different way sparked a desire for change and I asked for help. My aunt took me to The Lovelady Center in March of that year and my life has never been the same. I entered the program hopeless and alone with nothing to my name. A mother who hadn't spoken to her children in years. I left that program Mary German, a mom of 3, proud of who God was showing me I truly was, a functioning member of society, A licensed driver with a SS card and birth certificate, a dependable employee, a woman with hope beyond measure, shining a light that only Christ can provide. My hope in writing this is that anyone reading it realizes IT'S NEVER TOO LATE, YOU'RE NEVER TOO FAR GONE & NO DAMAGE IS TOO MUCH FOR GOD TO REPAIR!! The Lovelady Center provides the love and the tools to reach up from rock bottom, leave the darkness and step into the light!! Thank you with all my heart for everything that The center is and does!!

I can proudly attest to that with today being 90 days sober! This is the longest I’ve been 100% off anything mind-altering since I was 14 years old.
From my very first call with the owner Adams to my last day of the 35 day program, everyone treated me with so much kindness and patience. They teach you everything you need to know in order to live a happy and healthy life without drugs/alcohol, you just have to be willing to not only learn what they teach but also put it all into practice in real life.
Wherever below rock bottom is, I was there for sure before Impact. Adams, Chad, Shaun, Colby, Schwartz, Dikis, Taner, Moody, Sam, Kathleen, and Emily, you are all a Godsend and I thank you for honestly saving my life. Keep doing the amazing work that you all have been doing, and if anyone reading this is willing and able to become part of the Impact family I say do it. Don’t hesitate and take that first step towards true recovery <3

I wanted to take my own life before coming to Impact. I felt completely and utterly hopeless. I was pitifully and incomprehensibly demoralized, plagued by regret, and crushed by the weight of the unmanageable life I was leading.
Impact provided a safe place for me to truly accept what I can’t change for the first time, and helped show me the way forward.
If you are ready to be honest with yourself and follow some directions you may not understand at first, I promise you that Impact can and will help you.

If you are truly ready to surrender, receive help, and are willing to go to any length to rid yourself of addiction, Impact’s program will transform your life in ways you never thought possible. The staff is first class and have all ‘been there’. They are sincere and passionate about helping others recover. Sobriety is only the tip of the iceberg. The resulting new way to approach life is so rewarding.

| Located in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, Tuscaloosa VA Medical Center provides mental health treatment services to military personnel and Veterans. They also provide dual diagnosis treatment. If addiction is the primary diagnosis, clients are encouraged to seek treatment at a drug rehab center. The Tuscaloosa VA Medical Center (TVMC) is a full service medic | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I was there at the inpatient PTSD program from March until May. I had a very positive experience while there. The medical staff was always polite to me as well as any of the other staff members I met. I never felt like I was a problem or a burden or causing them an inconvenience when I asked for something.
This VA helped save my life and give me the foundation to lay my new mental health journey upon. My case worker Robin S. was aces! Helped me selected a class schedule-work load that was focused on PTSD.
The only issue I had was the food. The food was horrible but the dietician’s did work with me to change up my personal menu.
There are rules in place for the resident and the rules will not be violated without repercussions. I kept my head down, minded my own business and walked so much around the campus in my down time. Those 7 weeks flew by.
You can have Amazon prime deliver things to you for your stay and your allowed door dash. There are random drug screenings and breathalyzers as part of the stay. These are mandatory not suggested.
Be involved in your care and you will have a great experience. Be a problem and you’re gonna get treated as such.
Thank you to everyone who helped me to get there, while I was there and the after discharge phone calls to check up on me. I am one appreciative veteran.

They have a wonderful Patient Care Tech!! He’s a cute white guy, They called him J.B. He was on night shift. I think his name was James. But this guy was an awesome PCT. He was very nice and polite to all the patients and he was very uplifting to me and Everyone around him and he also kept everyone laughing. He also cleaned up after us where other pct’s just sat in the area where the Nurses were and some even were so rude and would even provoke patients. 🙄
The Nursing Staff for the most part was kind and caring. Of course you have a few that are A holes but that’s to be expected anywhere you go! The Doctors were also nice and came around once a day.

They are extremely open to working with you as a family, and take great care of your loved one. They show care, kindness, patience, and professionalism.
The incredible progress and help that we received having our family member here could never be repaid. Should you need it, they will be a great advocate for your loved one. Thank you so much!

I work construction out of town a lot,so I've been to a few dozen clinics from Philadelphia PA to Jacksonville FL. By far this facility is 10 times more professional, quick responses for whatever reasons. Cleanest facility, friendliest, caring staff I've dealt with. If you've ever had to guest dose before,it can be a nightmare!! Maybe you didn't have any problems, but I have with other clinics. Not this one! They'll make sure you get the best help possible. I would never go anywhere else.WARNING! If you're not serious about sobriety then you may prefer the other dumps. Still give them a call! They saved my life!! I would love to see more of your bhg facilities in the Mississippi area and maybe have a federal guideline on amount of your dosage for guest dosing because I have been places where there was no problem but I've been to several states like Tennessee and I was taking more than their maximum level and I had to wait 2 weeks for a state approval. Of course I was working and it being 6 hours from my hometown I had to go home one day a week until they got it straight. I wouldn't have waited for 2 days in the waitroom thinking everything was going to be fine if someone would have told me or like I said every state be on the same thing or ar least respect the other states that aren't at the same dosage levels. We still have problems and are paying patients for treatment and I was furious after working 2 nights without and set there from 6 until 12 and then be told come back in the morning maybe we will be heard back from them. Communication is really what needs to be done between the states and the different companies policies.

I was recommended to Magnolia Creek by my therapist who has had other clients who have had overwhelmingly positive experiences there, and my time at mag creek has been the most uplifting and encouraging experience I could have asked for. I wouldn’t leave this review if I felt any different! I’ve been to treatment a couple of times before, but nothing has ever been as helpful as this. The staff are so kind, funny, and motivating; they really make you feel like part of a family there. The groups really teach you skills about how to move through life in recovery, and I deeply loved the science aspect we learned in nursing and nutrition groups. Music therapy takes the cake when it comes to my favorite groups though, with Anna’s beautiful voice echoing the journey of recovery every week. I found that I took something monumental from every therapy session I had and learned some coping skills that I’ll take with me forever. The campus is beautiful and feels like home, and most importantly you’re treated like an equal by staff, and your needs are taken seriously. That cannot be said about every treatment center and is a true testament of the huge heart of magnolia creek. I’d go back in an instant if I had to re-admit to treatment, but I truly feel like they prepared me with the skills to take my ED on in an out patient setting. I’m forever grateful for my time there. Cannot recommend this place enough.

I have been part of the alumni community for a few years. I believe I am one of the earlier members. When the previous alumni coordinator reached out to me I was in a dark place and she felt like a life line. I miss the previous coordinator, but I feel like Taylor has been killing it. She is nice, warm and always willing to talk. You can tell she really wants to help. Since joining the alumni group I attend the weekly support meetings as often as I can. Also there is a weekly meal support group that I used to attend but haven’t been able to go recently, hopefully soon I will be able to. I have developed friendships with the other women in the group and have been able to reach out for support and been available to others. Thank you Magnolia Creek for having this community available to us!
