About the Facility
GPASS–Greater Philadelphia Asian Social Services provides culturally responsive mental and behavioral healthcare for youth and adults in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, including medication assisted treatment (MAT), general outpatient (OP) programming, and aftercare planning and support. Specialized services are available for adolescents and persons with co-occurring addiction and mental illness.
Clients in outpatient care receive medical and mental health assessments, personalized care planning, and complete case management. Referrals for acute and subacute inpatient care are available as needed.
Clients in alcohol and/or opioid recovery may enroll in their evidence-based medication assisted treatment (MAT) for longer-term pharmacotherapy using FDA-approved medications to reduce cravings and decrease relapse risk. Their MAT treatment options include Suboxone and/or Vivitrol induction and maintenance.
Their general outpatient (OP) programs are designed for clients who are medically stable and do not require intensive supervision and support. Clients engage in extensive individual, group, and family counseling drawing on proven psychotherapeutic modalities. They also participate in age-specific, recovery-focused life skills training addressing topics such as coping, self-care, and relapse prevention. Their aftercare services ensure a complete continuum of care and may include referrals for additional medical, mental health, and social service programs.
GPASS–Greater Philadelphia Asian Social Services contracts with most major insurance providers, including Aetna, BlueCross BlueShield, Cigna, Beacon, Anthem, Magellan, United Healthcare, Humana, and others. Out of network benefits can vary. Contact your provider to verify coverage. Payment assistance is available for low-income persons.
