I would give the therapist and the system/platform they use a zero if I could. I saw the therapist Jeniffer Prantera once before my teenager daughter had her first and only appointment with her. Which, for her background, I thought it was going to be a good fit. It was very unprofessional/unethical on her behalf, sharing personal information not just with me, but with my daughter. We had miscommunication regarding appointments. The therapist scheduled for the following weeks thinking that for sure my daughter would have appointments with her, but I didn’t confirm that information. I talk to my daughter first before scheduling to make sure she feel comfortable with the counselor. Anyway, after receiving a text on a Saturday saying that she has an appointment on Tuesday. I waited to cancel on Monday because YOU CANT CANCEL APPOINTMENTS THROUGH EMAIL, TEXT OR THEIR PORTAL like almost every single place that you make appointments. Because it was less than 48 hrs I had a charge of $50 usd. You have to have a card on file and the counselor is responsible for charging fees so the billing department cannot do anything about. Also, you have to call to the billing department for them to remove your card. I would not recommend this place at all.

They told me my insurance would cover it but then I received a huge bill. I contacted the insurance company and they say it should be covered and they need information from the therapist. I called the company several times nobody called me back and I don’t think they even checked for me. My therapist ended up answering a month later and she said they wouldn’t cover it which I don’t believe since the insurance said it would be covered if they got the information.

Thank you for your feedback. We understand that billing and insurance matters can be confusing and frustrating, especially when expectations about coverage don’t align with the outcome.
In some cases, specific services may not be covered due to factors such as the provider’s licensure level or the nature of the service—this can vary even within plans from the same insurer. We make every effort to clarify benefits ahead of time, but coverage decisions ultimately rest with the insurance carrier.
We’re also committed to clear and timely communication. When concerns are raised about unreturned messages, we take that seriously and review our outreach records to ensure appropriate follow-up. If there’s ever uncertainty or lingering questions, our billing team is always available to assist further at support@glpg.net or 800-693-1916.

We understand how upsetting it can be to receive an unexpected bill. While we make every effort to provide accurate insurance estimates, changes to coverage can sometimes occur without notice, which is unfortunately beyond our control. To make payments more affordable, we offer flexible payment plans and the ability to set up personalized payment schedules through our patient portal. If there are any questions or concerns, our team can always assist at support@glpg.net or 800-693-1916.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). Some offer both, and tailor treatment to the patient's individual requirements.

Treatments

Mental health rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from mental illnesses like bipolar disorder, clinical depression, anxiety disorders, schizophrenia, and more. Mental health professionals at these facilities are trained to understand and treat mental health issues, both in individual and group settings.

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.
