I have recommended Apex to friends and would continue to do so, my experience has not had any of the negatives shared in other reviews.I will update my review as my treatment continues, but it has so far been mostly positive. There must have been a change in front office since some of these reviews, as I never encountered any rudeness from the front desk staff. I will say that they are understaffed at the front desk leading to some extended wait times and potential for mistakes. Psychologist I have seen is fantastic, and they scheduled me to see a psychiatrist in less than a month, which sounds long but for the industry is actually quite soon.

I recently went to ARD and the reviews you read are legit. I talked to Laura multiple times before I went and I was really nervous. She made me feel better about going and is super cool. Without her they may not have as many patients. A driver picked me up and took me back to the airport so they make everything pretty easy. I was on oxys then suboxone for 15 years after a car accident and was tired of how it made me angry at times and ruled my life and schedule. It helped contribute to ruining my relationship with my daughters mom and I just wanted off of it now. She was not very supportive either. It is a fast process for the worst of the withdrawals but you will need to follow their program when you get home. Frieda is great and adjusted my meds on the days I called. I've been home a month and I still have low energy and lethargy but I'm working through that with exercise. Laura keeps in contact with me and she truly cares about people. Pat is awesome and we had some great chats. I recommend going here if you are struggling. It wont be easy but if i can do it, you can too. Now I can enjoy my time with my kids and granddaughter. Stay strong and God Bless. Thanks ARD and Laura, you are a rockstar!!

First, I want to say that this review isn’t based on my personal experience, but a friends who isn’t comfortable sharing their name on this platform.
After months of research, he took a leap of faith and chose this center over a similar center in Florida that was double the price. Because he doesn’t have insurance, he had to come out of pocket so this obviously was the more practical option price wise, but also care wise. If you’re paying 5k+ for treatment out of pocket at a facility, you’re doing so because you want to know you’re in good hands and have a staff of people who will be with you through the process. Releasing someone after 24 hours to a hotel room with active monitoring just doesn’t seem right when you’re paying 20k+ for a treatment (the other facility doesn’t accept insurance either). Of course, rehabs want to make money- a business is a business. But that doesn’t mean everyone shouldn’t be treated with respect and quality care. The staff here, on the other hand, supported him the entire time and made sure he got the care he needed. He is 6 months sober now!
The treatment isn’t by any means “easy” but Rome wasn’t built in a day. No treatment is going to be easy to break the shackles of addiction, you have to want your sobriety and to be free. If you don’t want it, no treatment will save you from going back and using. But if you want it, then this place is a no brainer. You will feel some exhaustion, maybe even a lack of motivation but the important thing is to get up and move around. All of that will balance itself out. Take vitamins before and after your procedure, and thank God for another day! I am currently saving up to come here for my own treatment from an Oxy addiction, and will update my review from my personal experience once I have.

Social workers are great, therapists are great, nurse practitioners are great, this review is more for HEGIRA in general but their psych doctors are all disrespectful.will talk down to you, judge you from the very beginning, at least that's my experience with each new doctor I see and location I go to. They see I am prescribed Suboxone (have been for 5 plus years) and try to take me off of my psych meds I've been on for five years or longer.yes, one is a controlled substance but ive heard so many reasons why they won't or can't continue me on my medicine that I know works because I've been told multiple times completely different stories.it took years to find the right cocktail that works for me.only by the prescribing doctors do I ever have anything to complain about.i don't usually leave reviews for anything unless it's something I love or it's a genuine problem.i know plenty of people who are prescribed incredibly unnecessary amounts of drugs, or people with the same or similar combination I am on and don't have the problem i am having. opioid crisis I get it but not everyone taking them is abusing them.is the only way I'm going to get the same meds I've always been on by going to a shrink where I have to pay? I've seen plenty of doctors who weren't psych doctors but would still give me my psych meds with my Suboxone, yes things are different now more strict, but over the last two and a half years of trying to find a shrink to get my stuff from the right doctor , I haven't had a psych prescribe my psych meds to me In almost three years. My PCP and my Suboxone doctor help me by writing them as long as I show them I am trying to get in somewhere. So if it's perfectly fine for the doctors who really shouldn't be giving benzos scripts to me (psych meds were originally started from actual psychiatrist in the beginning) why in the EFF will absolutely no one help me?!?

Her methods are down-to-earth yet professional, her insights are relevant, her empathy is tangible, and she goes above and beyond to be there for her clients. This is my truth.
I am in recovery and I also completely stopped drinking alcohol 2 1/2 months ago. I am a hard working tax paying contributing member of society. I am at the same time healing repercussions of physical, emotional and verbal abuse, gaslighting and neglect. Do not misunderstand me it goes against my principles to mess with another person’s job. However, BioMed has a counselor that has no business counseling women in any capacity. I understand that abused women, including myself, require a bit more reassurance and support not further abuse. Dennis H. has stated to me more than once, “ignorant independent American women .” This is what he really thinks of women. He is a fraud, an abuser and a thief.

This service has saved my life and many others.
From my perspective, if Bio-Med can not help you, then perhaps you're not ready to be in recovery.
This facility has many great social services available to those who need them or seek help in conquering SUD.
Patience is necessary when being treated here, but I've not ever had to wait an inappropriate amount of time for services at this location. That is subjective to each person's perspective. I encourage clients to remember how long and difficult life is/was before enrolling in the program at this facility. Waiting on a plug or hook-up could take all day plus some time compared to a mediocre wait at a caring facility such as this.
It's safe here and full of folks that truly care. I hope this will encourage even 1 person to exit their struggle and begin to recover with Bio-Med's assistance.
Best of luck to all who struggle. ❤️🩹

I ll try not to use any specific names in my review All the folks I have met here are friendly, VERY knowledgeable & welcoming. Plus, they really care about their clients. You don t get this at every recovery place. (Sadly, been to quite a few).Like all these programs, you get what you put into it. They point that out to ya.And let s face it. With the success rate of us clients staying clean, the majority of us being court ordered, in conjunction with the sad fact that a small percentage of us fail by dying, the folks that work here have a really hard job.To end on an up-beat note:- I posted pictures of the lobby because Tracy would probably yell at me in our next session if I took a picture elsewhere. They have a nice drinking fountain in the lobby, not saying I ever had to wait long er anything.- And my one complaint (so 4.9 stars) is that they don t have snow days, like we had school. We live in Michigan ya know. I complained once and got a response back from Nate. He said something to the effect of ; Recovery doesn t have snow days. He is always so wise (and witty).

Since 1920, this behavioral health provider has offered addiction, mental health and developmental disability care for adults, youth and families. You can access comprehensive outpatient options to reach your recovery goals. Their intensive and standard o | Treatments Programs Payment Options | This facility is, by far, the best in Michigan for mental health services. Something they offer that I've never received before was a case manager. Helps schedule appointments, checks in every month, arranges appropriate services based on what is most helpful to you, and provides resources on absolutely anything you may need. My case manager Abby even offered to help me on miscellaneous tasks such as going through/organizing paper stacks, basically anything you can think of, they are willing to help you with at the office. Case manager Abby even picked up clothing donations for my children as we had fallen on hard times. She has so many resources and she's been like an angel helping me manage things to make it easier on me so I can focus on therapeutic work. It's quite amazing the service I've received from Easter Seals. The psychiatrist, Dr. Linsk, is the most knowledgeable and caring doctor I've ever had. He takes time at every appointment to listen to me. He keeps up to date on the latest research. He's even been the first to give me new diagnosises that go beyond generalized anxiety, depression, ect. As for therapy, I had the pleasure of meeting the best therapist I've ever had, Emma. Emma has since left as she was an intern, however, my success story continued as I met my next therapist. I've been to at least 6 other mental health centers and I've never been given any other therapy besides basic CBT talk therapy. My first meeting with the new therapist, I tell her I've been working on this same issue for 10 years, she selflessly said she'd like me to try another therapist who is trained in Exposure Therapy as it may be a better help for me. That other therapist came right in to the room with us, talked, and we all agreed to try this and that I can go back to regular therapy after completion. They even offer group therapy but I've not used that service. The therapists here are young and fresh and are educated on the latest research. They have a drive of providing quality care that I've never experienced before. The whole office is the top standard of mental health services. My only adverse experiences have come from the front desk. I am aware of how hard it is to deal with patients at the front desk. They always have to handle the problems and are looked to for a solution. I've witnessed patients not speaking very kindly to the ladies at the front desk, however, I have a few issues with them myself. Any time I come into the office, I wait at the counter behind glass while nobody acknowledges my presence. I listen to their personal stories as the whole waiting room can hear them. Someone from the back usually pops in after me standing in front of the window for 5 minutes and finally assist me. I've been forgotten to be checked in twice. I've had therapists calling me from inside their office to ask if I was coming today as I was in the waiting room well on time. Front desk is probably one of the toughest and lowest paying jobs at the center, however the front desk needs a lot of guidance because their quality does not match the quality of the whole office. The front desk staff brings the whole office score down and I hope to see that change in the future because the front desk is the first encounter for most clients. A lot of people who will benefit from this location may be deterred because of the mishaps. But overall, best service in Michigan. I don't understand the negative reviews as I feel the complete opposite. Especially since I've been told and feel comfortable asking for a change in therapists or doctors if I'm not finding a good fit. Therapy works both ways. I'm sure with the quality mental health providers, you will find a good match. I'm so thankful to have found this location and I encourage others looking for quality care to reach out for assistance. This may just be the last road to recovery of your mental health you'll need to walk. They provide so much support. I don't know how they do it all! Thank you. You've all been angels in my life! :)

I haven't had much luck making a good connection with the therapists, partially my fault for not making more time. But the psychiatrists have truly been a godsend. When I first set my appointment in 2020, I really was on the verge of not existing. Now it's four years laters and I'm days away from a college degree. Dr. Linsk is very professional and goes the extra mile to make sure you get what's needed from appointments and medications don't run out.

I had a great experience at Northville Health Center. Check in via the app was easy, my sonogram technician was friendly and to my untrained eye, skilled. The bed was comfortable and everything went smoothly.

I am a skeptic when it comes to doctors and clinicians because of past experience with both myself and my children. But I can say with total confidence that Easterseals has done an amazing job helping my daughters and myself cope and adapt in a healthy way to live successfully in todays world. I can t imagine being a teenager now a days, and as a parent, I would do anything to help my girls get through these tough years. Colleen has done a wonderful job helping us communicate even if it s uncomfortable for both of us. She helped save my beautiful daughter from going into a very dark place. I see some do not share the same experiences we have with Easterseals, but I ve been in and out with my girls over the years, and between the staff, docs, and therapists, they have all done an amazing job, considering what they too, have to deal with day in and day out. At times my girls had to change therapists in the middle of treatment, but they did an alright job matching them with someone similar. And if they are ready and willing to change, and it s explained that stuff like this happens, we got through it. It s hard to keep constant staff on hand all the time, so I understood. Thanks for all the help easterseals. You have a 5 star review from my family!!

We have been going here for years. We ve seen a few doctors and therapists. I have never had any issues with any of the staff, doctors, or therapists. We re always treated well. If you re looking for pediatric/ adolescent care I highly recommend Dr. Greer. As far as therapists go Sarah Mathew and Elissa Redman are amazing!
