The staff here are very nice and polite, nevertheless, they are not very good at helping you. To be honest, and in many times the services here are quite mediocre.
About Mental Health Centers of Western Illinois – Randolph Lane Apartments
Mental Health Centers of Western Illinois – Randolph Lane Apartments is located in downtown Carthage, Illinois, just miles from the Illinois, Iowa and Kansas borders and the Mississippi River. Hancock County Courthouse is a Historic Landmark found in the center of the city, and the park district offers several recreational facilities you can utilize during your healing and recovery.
They work with Medicaid and Medicare, private health insurance policies and offer the opportunity to self pay if you are uninsured or underinsured.
Dual Diagnosis Treatment
They offer mental health and substance use disorder treatment in individual and group therapy settings. The availability of both treatment options in the same facility allows therapists to treat dual diagnosis. This is the simultaneous presence of a mental health condition and substance use disorder. Treatment requires integrated care to increase the potential for successful recovery.
Services for Those At Risk
Their substance use disorder treatment services also encompass community interventions, including education about the effects of drugs and alcohol and education on the risks of HIV. The program offers driver risk education services if you’ve been charged with a driving under the influence offense, and evaluation services are available to determine your risk to public safety.
Multiple Programs to Support Recovery
Peer support services allow you to work with others who have undergone rehab, receiving mentoring or coaching as needed. Crisis intervention services are immediately available when you contact the clinical staff. The adult mental health services help you deal with co-occurring mental illnesses so you can achieve your goals.
The program offers case management, community day services, sheltered workshop and outpatient treatment. If you’re 18 years of age or older, community housing services can be available to help improve your function and increase your independent skills.

Other Forms of Payment
Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.
Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.
Sliding scale payments are based on a client's income and family size. The goal is to make treatment affordable to everyone. By taking these factors into account, addiction recovery care providers help ensure that your treatment does not become a financial burden to you or your family, eliminating one barrier to care.
Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.
Medicare is a federal program that provides health insurance for those 65 and older. It also serves people under 65 with chronic and disabling health challenges. To use Medicare for addiction treatment you need to find a program that accepts Medicare and is in network with your plan. Out of pocket costs and preauthorization requirements vary, so always check with your provider.
Military members, veterans, and eligible dependents have access to specific insurance programs that help them get the care they need. TRICARE and VA insurance can help you access low cost or no cost addiction and mental health treatment. Programs that accept military insurance often have targeted treatment focused on the unique challenges military members, veterans, and their families face.

Life skills trainings involve all the skills a person must have in order to function successfully in the world. These include time management, career guidance, money management, and effective communication. Truly successful addiction recovery is based on the ability to not only live substance-free, but to thrive. Life skills teaches the practical necessities of functioning in society, which sets clients up for success in life, and therefore sobriety.
