The five stars I'm giving is only for the outpatient part. Rachel is a great counselor and knows her stuff. I learn a lot from her. Jessica Hartz is the best employee at Adds. She bent over backwards to get me into inpatient. She is truly a blessing. She's a really good counselor also. The staff down at inpatient needs reevaluated and they need to give them UAS. If they want their clients to stay clean down there they shouldn't let their employees do meth. If I wasn't so serious about my recovery and If it was early in my recovery I'm sure I would have walked out and got high but by the grace of God I'm 106 days sober today.

I had a great experience. This time at least. It took me a few try’s but I never gave up and always made it back. I really admire what those people do there. They laugh when I laugh and cry when I cry. They were the rock when I needed them. I Forever love those people.

I have had 2 Therapist at SIMHC that became more like close friends to me. They have given me tools to deal with the loss of my son. Mental health is a very tough field right now and the shortage of licensed providers make it very challenging for facilities. Barring medical needs that sent me to St, Luke’s, ALL staff were pleasant and professional. From top to bottom the care was phenomenal to me as an individual, not by my patient number. Beyond hospitable by providing anything I could possibly need and they even gave my husband an evening snack bag so that he wouldn’t have to leave my side. I appreciated the communication between the rounding physician and surgical doctors and myself so I maintained autonomy in my own healthcare decisions. 10/10 stars!

I had a very positive experience at St. Luke’s Hospital in Cedar Rapids. The doctors, nurses, and entire medical staff were incredibly professional, compassionate, and attentive throughout the treatment process. They took the time to clearly explain every step, answered all questions patiently, and made sure we felt comfortable and well cared for. The level of care and dedication shown by the medical team was truly impressive. From the moment we arrived until the treatment was completed, everything was handled efficiently and with great kindness. The hospital facilities were clean, well organized, and the staff made sure the patient’s comfort and safety were always a priority. I’m very grateful for the excellent care we received. Thank you to the entire team at St. Luke’s for their commitment to patient care and for making a difficult situation much easier.

If it wasn't for this clinic and all the wonderful people there, my life would be in shambles. If it wasn't for Medicaid, I could never afford daily doses and if it wasn't for The Way Shuttle picking me up six days a week for almost 3 years straight, I wouldn't be where I am today. These people are amazing in helping us. You'll have your reviews that claim otherwise but those are people who don't want to follow rules or are not serious about recovery and leading a normal life. Im in a much better place because of them. Rules change but they post them and tell you. The counselors and nurses have their own set of rules to follow and shooting the messenger isn't very kind. I've had 3 counselors but one received a promotion, one moved away, and my current Pam is amazing. I get sound and useful advice from them all. They help me fix issues. They are not just talk. If you want your life back and truly want help id go here. I drive an hour and 45 minutes just to get help from them specifically. I regret none of the gas mileage...

Exemplary health care. Every American should have the healthcare the Veterans Administration gives to our veterans. There is a huge difference between Veteran Healthcare in comparison to Healthcare for Profit. The Veteran is seen as a person needing medical care and not as a billable procedure as in corporate healthcare.

I came to ASAC after 15 years of serious substance abuse and it was the first treatment center I had ever been to. I am coming up on my one year anniversary being completely sober. I am happy, healthy, and in control of my life in a way others have prayed I would be for a long time. The staff at ASAC helped me in so many ways I could not list them all, they were nothing short of amazing to my family. These people at ASAC are the most knowledgeable, caring, capable bunch of professionals who have assembled a team that gets results. I’ve unfortunately been in recovery several times at ASAC. They really do care. However, they can’t do the work for you. I’ve always been given good advice on how to move forward after treatment, but get sober and think we’re Superman. I learned a lot. Now, how bad do we want sobriety?

Asac has changed my life not once but twice! I had 7 years of real recovery when I left in 2018. When I relapsed I went back and they dug deeper into my trauma with me to find the root cause of my addiction and are helping me thoroughly examine every aspect to prevent another relapse. I am grateful everyday for my new journey into recovery. They took a chance on me when others gave up hope. 💫✨
