About Arise Health – Jonesboro Clinic

Arise Health is a provider of behavioral health and related services that supports residents throughout Arkansas. This organization is the culmination of four of the state’s leading healthcare providers which have been integrated into one behavioral healthcare system. They have locations throughout the state, and their Jonesboro, Arkansas, location will help connect you to the appropriate services either through their clinic or through a referral within their network.

If you’re struggling with your mental health, have a coexisting substance use disorder, are experiencing a crisis, or need other supportive care, Aspire Health is an avenue to turn to. The Jonesboro clinic offers a continuum of outpatient services ranging from primary care to crisis support.

Drug and Alcohol Safety Education Programming

Aspire Health is contracted with the Arkansas Department of Human Services and other agencies and is a provider of drug and alcohol safety education programming to help you satisfy court ordered treatments. They also offer victim impact classes if you have been involved in a DUI or related incident.

Emergency Crisis Services

Arise Health has a partnership with several police departments including the Jonesboro Police Department. When a crisis call comes in through the hotline, police are deployed along with either a mental health professional or a crisis care coordinator.

The aim of this emergency crisis service is to help de-escalate situations and get individuals in a crisis the appropriate care they need instead of the traditional approach of being booked into the legal system. A crisis call can also get you connected to appropriate treatment programs through Arise health or within your local community. Referrals, consultations and linkage to shelters are among some of the other ways the crisis support team will help you.

Not only one person been hospitalized but 2 people dear to me hospitalized by this company! The doctor has not seen both patients but through a screen. Both showing PHYSICAL adverse effects that can be seen in seconds. INGREZZA was used. Now I have a family member in catatonic state! Yall said no can't be that. But she was sent to a PCP then transported to a hospital a day after telling yall her symptoms. She was in life treating condition and yall just wanted to up her meds. It isn't the first and only person yall sent catatonic to the point of incontinence. You might be racking in the money selling all these test trail meds but you are killing families. What help are yall! Yall don't deserve one star or a mental practice. Ik this isn't yalls first lawsuit coming.

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Financial aid can take many forms. Centers may have grants or scholarships available to clients who meet eligibility requirements. Programs that receive SAMHSA grants may have financial aid available for those who need treatment as well. Grants and scholarships can help you pai for treatment without having to repay.

Sliding scale payments are based on a client's income and family size. The goal is to make treatment affordable to everyone. By taking these factors into account, addiction recovery care providers help ensure that your treatment does not become a financial burden to you or your family, eliminating one barrier to care.

Medicare is a federal program that provides health insurance for those 65 and older. It also serves people under 65 with chronic and disabling health challenges. To use Medicare for addiction treatment you need to find a program that accepts Medicare and is in network with your plan. Out of pocket costs and preauthorization requirements vary, so always check with your provider.

Military members, veterans, and eligible dependents have access to specific insurance programs that help them get the care they need. TRICARE and VA insurance can help you access low cost or no cost addiction and mental health treatment. Programs that accept military insurance often have targeted treatment focused on the unique challenges military members, veterans, and their families face.

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient
Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.
inpatient iconInpatient
Clients undergoing treatment at an inpatient rehab receive extensive therapeutic support through daily addiction counseling and recovery-focused services. These often include addiction education and life skills training. Many inpatient facilities also offer evidence-based holistic therapies, such as massage, yoga, acupuncture, creative arts therapy, and experiential therapy. Inpatient care is typically best suited for clients who recently completed detox, are in early recovery, or at a heightened risk of relapse.
intensive-outpatient iconIntensive Outpatient
Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) are for those who want or need a very structured treatment program but who also wish to live at home and continue with certain responsibilities (such as work or school). IOP substance abuse treatment programs vary in duration and intensity, and certain outpatient rehab centers will offer individualized treatment programs.
aftercare iconAftercare Support
Clients in addiction recovery typically require robust, ongoing support, which rehab aftercare programs are designed to provide. These programs are premised on the idea that clients' mental, emotional, physical, social, and financial wellbeing is essential to recovery. Clients collaborate with their case managers and addiction recovery team to identify the rehab aftercare services they will need to thrive while in recovery. Clients may receive peer coaching, career counseling, and 12 step program induction, among other services.
12-step icon12-Step
12 step programs are designed to foster participants' recovery through spiritual development, promoting healing in mind, body, and spirit. Participants engage in 12 step meetings, which are free, anonymous, and accessible daily, including evening, night, and weekend group sessions. Participants also self-select a sponsor to support them throughout their recovery journey. Though rooted in spiritual principles, participants do not have to be religiously-affiliated. Specialized formats, including gender and age-specific ones, are available.
sober-living iconSober Living Homes
A sober living home in Arkansas provides a safe, sober-living scenario for those in recovery. If you have concerns about returning to daily life after treatment, this might be a good option for you to make a slower transition. You'll live with others in recovery, abide by strict halfway house rules, and maintain responsibilities through work and household chores. Your length of stay is flexible based on personal needs.
heart-hands iconIntervention Services
A drug intervention in Arkansas is an organized effort made by the loved ones of a person who's struggling with substance abuse. The goal is to show the person how their addiction has negatively affected the lives of family and friends. While some loved ones plan an intervention on their own, it's best to rely on professional intervention services that are available. Involving an expert for insight and guidance can often increase the chances of success for the intervention.
partial-hospitalization iconPartial Hospitalization Program
As a short-term outpatient treatment option, a partial hospitalization program (PHP) is often beneficial for those who don't need 24-hour care. PHPs can be used as an alternative to inpatient hospitalization or as a step down from a residential program. For a minimum of 20 hours a week, you'll make a commute to the center and return home in the evening. During PHP treatment, you can receive medication management, relapse prevention strategies, and behavioral therapy interventions.
medically-assisted-detox iconMedically Assisted Detox
The process of a medically assisted detox is when all addictive substances are removed from your body. Usually performed in an inpatient setting, you are under the 24/7 care of licensed medical medical professionals who keep you safe and comfortable during the detoxification. Medications are often administered to help alleviate potential withdrawal symptoms. The process can vary in length, but it typically takes 5-7 days.

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

The goal of drug rehab in Arkansas is to help individuals stop using addictive substances and learn healthy ways to remain clean long-term. Participants learn vital skills to cope with cravings and manage stress, to prevent relapse.

A combined mental health and substance abuse rehab has the staff and resources available to handle individuals with both mental health and substance abuse issues. It can be challenging to determine where a specific symptom stems from (a mental health issue or an issue related to substance abuse), so mental health and substance abuse professionals are helpful in detangling symptoms and keeping treatment on track.

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Programs

adult-program thumbnail image
Adult Program
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.
young-adult-program thumbnail image
Young Adult Program
Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.
lgbtq-program thumbnail image
LGBTQ Program
Recovery is most successful when clients feel accepted and validated by their peers and treatment providers. Facilities that offer LGBTQ-inclusive programming are committed to creating a safe space where everyone can grow and recover without fear of judgment or discrimination. They will have dedicated policies in place to create a safe and supportive environment that fosters free expression.
military-program thumbnail image
Military Program
Serving in the military is both mentally and physically challenging, and can result in trauma that persists even after combat ends. Military programs are tailored to the specific and often complex needs of active duty personnel, veterans, and military families. Clients often access these programs through the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).

Clinical Services

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a therapy modality that focuses on the relationship between one's thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. It is used to establish and allow for healthy responses to thoughts and feelings (instead of unhealthy responses, like using drugs or alcohol). CBT has been proven effective for recovering addicts of all kinds, and is used to strengthen a patient's own self-awareness and ability to self-regulate. CBT allows individuals to monitor their own emotional state, become more adept at communicating with others, and manage stress without needing to engage in substance abuse.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a modified form of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), a treatment designed to help people understand and ultimately affect the relationship between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. DBT is often used for individuals who struggle with self-harm behaviors, such as self-mutilation (cutting) and suicidal thoughts, urges, or attempts. It has been proven clinically effective for those who struggle with out-of-control emotions and mental health illnesses like Borderline Personality Disorder.

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

Motivational interviewing is a conversational approach to treatment. It helps you express your desire for change, reflect on any ambivalence you're feeling about change, and plan for the next steps to make the changes you desire.

Trauma therapy addresses traumatic incidents from a client's past that are likely affecting their present-day experience. Trauma is often one of the primary triggers and potential causes of addiction, and can stem from child sexual abuse, domestic violence, having a parent with a mental illness, losing one or both parents at a young age, teenage or adult sexual assault, or any number of other factors. The purpose of trauma therapy is to allow a patient to process trauma and move through and past it, with the help of trained and compassionate mental health professionals.

Whether a marriage or other committed relationship, an intimate partnership is one of the most important aspects of a person's life. Drug and alcohol addiction affects both members of a couple in deep and meaningful ways, as does rehab and recovery. Couples therapy and other couples-focused treatment programs are significant parts of exploring triggers of addiction, as well as learning how to build healthy patterns to support ongoing sobriety.

Research clearly demonstrates that recovery is far more successful and sustainable when loved ones like family members participate in rehab and substance abuse treatment. Genetic factors may be at play when it comes to drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health issues. Family dynamics often play a critical role in addiction triggers, and if properly educated, family members can be a strong source of support when it comes to rehabilitation.

Developing life skills while undergoing rehab treatment in Arkansas is a crucial part of your recovery. During treatment, you may focus on learning communication skills, critical thinking skills, problem solving, self awareness, assertiveness, and coping skills.

If you use substances heavily, this can interfere with your body's ability to absorb and use nutrients. This results in malnutrition and other health problems. Nutrition therapy addresses these deficiencies to support healing and recovery.

Sent a money order of $150 for dui classes. Money order has been cashed or stolen. When i called, the woman who answered offered no assistance, sounded like she was on something and hung up? Currently filing a police report for the money order that was tracked to this location and cashed.

It’s pretty bad when a company such as this causes confusion on health and mental health practices. When Arissa was Mid south health systems it had personal information leaked out about adult clients to adult clients and they hide the problem by not answering the serious calls. On the children’s out patients you would have to now wait to get your kids meds until you seen the doctor or try to get them set up for therapy. This company needs to be investigated for Neglect of their patients. The physical health, your documents are a book long to fill out compared to other PCP offices. You will never get an answer or you’re treated as a criminal when screened. This is crazy for a company who takes value of their patients and the value is 0. Do not use this company.

Getting an appointment in this place has been extremely difficult. The original appointment was changed 4 times before finally getting in. Scheduled the follow up appointment and arrived, waited 15 minutes before a staff member came out to let us know that “something came up and would not be able to be seen today.” She then told me that the therapist did let them know ahead of time but they had so much going on that they didn’t contact us. I have never experienced a medical office less concerned with patient’s schedules. I assume they think nobody has a job and their patients don’t have to take time off work for these appointments. I hope the therapy is great because the hoops in which one has to go through to get and keep appointments here leaves much to be desired!
