They go out and serve their community regularly every week totally Spirit driven place staff all went through the program so they know exactly what it's like. Anybody in that building would pretty much give you the shirt off their back or help you out anyway they could. God use this place too change people and live and circumstances he did it for me with this place! I recommend all day it's not easy it's tough sometimes but anything worth having ain't easy to do!!!! For my 12 year old.she drifts off.she jumps out of her sleep.terrified that her dad is going to do something to her.he has destroyed her mental and physically.every since she was 7.she so gone .i have to call her name more than 5 times to get het attention. And she anti social.dont like crowds i think she has anxiety and moderate depression .she feels like she not beautiful and people calls her ugly. I think this trauma her father caused messed her up.he pulled a gun on her,let her other siblings brothers touch and feel on her.and made her sleep in a cold basement for days at a time wouldnt feed her.when i got her back she was mt.nourished.she didn't look the same .i couldn't recognize who she was.he brung back her back dirty and hungry .she needs help.she shuts me out.when i asks her what's wrong with her. I try to make her feel safe,letting her know that she is safe and harm will never come to her and that she dont have to be afraid of anything or her father .i worry about her every day and i comfort her when shes down.she under me most of the time.and sometimes we just sit around,and she'll just start talking about what her other siblings and farther have done to her out of nowhere. When she vents to me.about it i get furiated and mad.but i dont let her see that.ithink i felled her as a mom.i wasnt there to save her from this abuse.but she dont hold that against me. She new i was going through alot at that time .she understood.i just want her to be more open with me.and her other 2 sisters,who's 13 and11.i wanthem close like they where when they was little.my other 2 daughter's are going through something too.they both lost their farthers. I highly recommend HEC. I see Jaimie for EMDR and CBT therapy biweekly. She is among the best therapists I have ever had. She is great at putting things into a new perspective and giving me extremely useful tools and coping strategies. I trust her completely and cannot sing her praises enough. The rest of the staff is very friendly and warm as well.

Wanted to share my latest experience here at Oxford. I did have some reactions to the detox meds and instead of taking any chances they sent me to the emergency room in Oxford to get checked out as I am a previous stroke victim. I appreciated the concern on my behalf the medical staff had for me.
And I want to give a special shout out to Michelle Lytham who was the person they sent to pick me after after I was cleared at the hospital. She remembered me from another time I was a client her and met me with a huge smile and was very concerned. On the ride home she went on and on about making sure I was ok. They are lucky to have her on staff. Also my therapist Sabrina and my case manager Monica are going above and beyond to try to see that I do not return unless I'm coming to speak as an alumni.
Also was happy to see Barry in the morning meetings. Such an insightful guy when it comes to addiction and addressing the clients in a knowledgeable and fun way. Oxford is lucky to have him as well.
I guess I shouldn't expect that a 35 year addiction would go away easily.
But as some people say
"third times the charm" I know much better this time what not to do after leaving. Hope to come back as an experienced speaker. Much love to all

I didn’t have this privilege in my previous recovery. I got clean from jail and Narcotics Anonymous, after a decade of clean time I relapsed and used for about half year no one could save me , some people reached out to me but when the moment came. I found myself calling the first place that showed up The Haven. I really loved how the system was set up , i have nothing but good things to say, the entire staff from the bottom up handled their jobs and my problems, the case managers, and therapist . I left knowing what triggered my relapse. Most importantly I left with a desire for recovery to be a top priority in my life! Without this we are doomed!
I left with an entire new outlook look on life, if I had a choice it for detox it would be The Haven !

I completed the 28 day program twice and spent over 90 days total. At first I didn't like it. They were strict and it was kinda of a tough love thing, I'm sure of that. But, I appreciated that tough love, structure, and accountability,because that is what I needed at the time. After I finished the 28 they found me a job that I really enjoyed and provided transportation to and from work .

This rehab is very affective in establishing long term sobriety if a person desires it. The negative reviews here are not accurate and the staff very much care for the clients, with most being former addicts and alcoholics themselves. I participated in residential treatment, PHP, and IOP. A client will be paired with a counselor, therapist, and a psychiatrist. Toward the end of treatment a client can be paired with a sponsor of a 12 step program like AA. There are too many resources to list that Oasis and Recovery Centers of Arkansas have to offer, but a person has to desire to be clean/sober and want to change their lifestyle. No one can make an individual stay sober so the staff cannot be blamed especially when they let it be known that the client must put in the effort to rise above their addiction. I just came home from here 2 weeks ago. This place is AMAZING!! I didn't want to go at first, I read the reviews here, on day 3 I was finally settled in and knew I couldn't have been at a better place. The staff is exceptional!! It is a very intense program, but it's wonderful. Classes are 7 days a week, 8am-7pm, lots of breaks in between, plus lunch and dinner breaks. The food was exceptional! You definitely will not go hungry here!! When it was my day to go, part of me didn't want to leave, I had made great friends there and this place had become my safe place. I highly recommend this place to anyone needing help. This place will save your life if you let them!!
**Edit to add, 6 months post treatment, still sober (237 days). My brother is now a resident there, he's on day 4 today. This place is amazing!!**

so far ive been so blessed with them in where im at in life. I haven't made it to them yet bc of prescription problems but they helped make it happen with a grant when I told them what I was going through and what I planned with my life but I truly needed help and Paige has been more than helping and understanding before I have even got there. I will know more when I get there tomorrow but so far they have been more than understanding and helpful when im at a very tough time in my life.

I was in the Autumn unit. I went in for a suicide attempt and came out better then ever. Between the ups and downs of being an addict and all the places I've tried to get help and the Drs I've been to. This place and staff in Conway Arkansas have helped in every way without judgment. I've wanted to give up so many times but thanks to the wonderful counselors to the reception desk to the Lady running the show they have helped get me back on track and it's not always about the medicine sometimes it's just being able to talk to the right people
