About Recovery Healthcare Corporation

Recovery Monitoring Solutions, formerly Recovery Healthcare Corporation, in Austin Texas, offers a variety of services for people suffering from substance use disorder. Their multiphase intensive outpatient program is authorized by the Texas Department of Health Services. This program is tailored to each client’s unique requirements. The program allows for a step by step recovery process through three distinct phases including stabilization, a sober life, and tools to succeed.

Adults can receive education and treatment at their outpatient facility through a variety of programs including anger management, intensive and supportive outpatient programs, and relapse prevention and aftercare. They offer their services in both Spanish and English. They provide cognitive behavioral therapy and the 12 Step method to help you live a healthy life and lessen the effects of drug and alcohol abuse.

Their primary goal is to reintegrate individuals into a productive lifestyle in the least restrictive environment and at the lowest feasible cost. For clients from local courts the referral system is one unique program that does just that. Their programs can be modified to meet specific court requirements allowing clients to complete their treatment while meeting their legal obligations.

The comprehensive online substance abuse treatment program they offer also takes into account the different needs of their clients. This feature could really help people who live in rural areas or have limited access to childcare or transportation. Online counseling enables you to engage with peers and participate in both individual and group sessions.

They have received state certification from the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations. They provide essential educational programs such as DWI basic education, DWI intervention, and drug offender education to their clients.

I m not sure if I was just tired or a little anxious but they were talking to me like I was a little kid, being repetitive and slow and not concise in the slightest, at one point the lady walked out the door and said something about how I seem like I haven t woke up or something but just seems super rude for no reason, all I was there to do is watch a video and get an ankle monitor installed. I don t need the back and forth bs with extra attitude, I m there for a very simple service and I think they could make it much easier, I mean if you can t handle the job just don t work there don t make it our problem, I m their customer I shouldn t have to impress them, ridiculous.

Other Forms of Payment

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient
Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.
intensive-outpatient iconIntensive Outpatient
Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) are for those who want or need a very structured treatment program but who also wish to live at home and continue with certain responsibilities (such as work or school). IOP substance abuse treatment programs vary in duration and intensity, and certain outpatient rehab centers will offer individualized treatment programs.
aftercare iconAftercare Support
Completing a drug or alcohol rehab program shouldn't spell the end of substance abuse treatment. Aftercare involves making a sustainable plan for recovery, including ongoing support. This can include sober living arrangements like halfway houses, career counseling, and setting a patient up with community programs like Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) or Narcotics Anonymous (NA).

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

During rehab in Texas, you'll deal with underlying issues that contribute to addiction. By addressing these challenges and learning healthy ways to cope with them, you'll develop strategies that help you live a drug-free lifestyle.

A combined mental health and substance abuse rehab has the staff and resources available to handle individuals with both mental health and substance abuse issues. It can be challenging to determine where a specific symptom stems from (a mental health issue or an issue related to substance abuse), so mental health and substance abuse professionals are helpful in detangling symptoms and keeping treatment on track.

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Programs

adult-program thumbnail image
Adult Program
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.
young-adult-program thumbnail image
Young Adult Program
Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Clinical Services

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

I was a little nervous going in for my appointment but the receptionist was so nice and Maggie explained everything I needed to know about my device and had a great attitude which put me at ease. Maggie answered any questions I had and made sure I had everything I needed to succeed. For having only two people in office, they are very organized and efficient.

They kept on trying to tighten my monitor even though I had a directive by my doctor saying if they try to tighten it to contact him. I have, however been sober for 220+ days.

Been going for over a year and it was fine at first, but here recently I've had the worst customer service experience with one of the staff members who extremely rude to me when I had asked a few questions regarding my monitor. I hope they improve. Everyone else is great Maggie and the lady at the front desk to the right are very helpful. Every other time has been great and they were very helpful.

The lovely ladies that work here are truly amazing. They are professional and courteous every time. Angelica has always taken care of me right and has made this process so much more enjoyable.. Sara always has a smile on her face and makes sure that the job is done right everytime. I'm sure this team deals with people who are angry and upset all the time, but they continue to be positive and helpful!!!! Great job ladies!

few of the female latin employees are super nice and make it as pleasant as can be. but i had many problems with the rest, worst being an improperly done hair test that almost sent me to jail for 10 years (that’s my probation). this was after a sweat patch that had also given false results (the hair and sweat even differed). Thankfully my probation allowed me to prove to them with two other companies thru their hair tests (taken 3 times starting the next day after false hair results) that i was indeed clean. they would not help me at all with my probation or even consider admitting they made a mistake, even tho it was obvious she rarely did hair tests and didn’t know correct procedure which is incredibly important. try whatever you can do to switch to a different testing facility at all costs. good luck to anyone there

If you are ever one day late paying you get a phone call. If it's 3 days before your bill is due they call you. I was late one time just because I was under the understanding it was going to be the same date every month, but no it's a 30 day bill so it lliterally changed every month. Here is the kicker when you finally turn the device in and they owe you a refund. They will dodge emails and phone calls. They are in the business of collecting money and that's about it. I chose them because I was moving to the Austin area from Houston in case I needed something. Huge mistake. Find yourself a company that actually cares about the well being of their clients and not look at you as a cash cow.

First of all, the name recovery and health care are misleading. They are helping with no one's health. I went in for my first replacement hoping to get some assistance and guidance on how it could work into my life. They were not willing to help in even the slightest. Basically told me to go back to Waco if I wanted help. Customer service is also part of this job and every single person there just stares at you blankly when you have an issue. It is sad that the consistency is not more fluid throughout the different branches. I told them that I was having issues with clothing rubbing against the site that they put it on and they put it in an area that would rub on the clothes even more. If they set people up for failure, they make more money. That is what I gathered from my experience. We are already trapped into paying them more than what it costs for the patches so that the government can make their part of the profit. We shouldn't also have to be put in a separate prison of not feeling like anyone is on our side to get us through the process.
