I live next to this place, i was playing soccer with my cousin then he kicked it to hard and we got on the fence to see if anyone was there and their was it was a lady. We asked if she could pass us the ball but she ignored us took the ball and went inside. I also have another encounter here, that there is a hole around my fence and they peep whenever someone is outside and its pretty uncomfortable.

This place is a joke! They care more about enabling poor behavior by calling it metal health. I drove to Nebraska to get my sister and save her from places who only want to throw meds at young children. And she ended up in a place like that here! I was confident in Oklahoma proving to my sister you are stronger when you fall and get up, but now I have lost all hope. When my sister called and in a 4 min conversation she ended up not once telling me the truth they didn't blame her... She lied, and keeping her from any support shows that they only want to use her as a lab rat, and they can because her parents don't care, and they point blank told me I'm not needed! I spent so much money getting her everything she needed and time! And they have the audacity to tell me to shove all the love I have for my sister up where the sun doesn't shine! They called me asking for money and her belongings, why didn't a 20 year old young adult do that? Why was I told by my sister she doesn't have therapy but they say she does? This health care system is flawed big time. I pray God saves her! There's no hope in this place

Danielle, my name is B.J. Gilliam and I am the administrator of this facility. I would first like to say that I am sorry to hear that you were unhappy with your sisters stay here. As I am sure you are aware, having grown up around it, a mental disease can be challenging not only for the person living with it but for their friends and family as well. Mental illness is often full of behaviors that can strain even the strongest of relationships and we do our best to foster healthy relationships with friends and family (because healthy relationships lead to better outcomes for our residents) but at the end of the day, our resident and their wellbeing is our primary concern. With that being said, I would like to address your concerns but since most of what you have referenced here seems to be a family rift and the balance is innuendo, I'm not sure where to start. I would welcome you to come by the facility or contact me by phone at (405)943-2273. I hope that your relationship with your sister can be reestablished and that she continues to receive the support and care that she needs. Sincerely, B.J.

Other Forms of Payment

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Sliding scale payments are based on a client's income and family size. The goal is to make treatment affordable to everyone. By taking these factors into account, addiction recovery care providers help ensure that your treatment does not become a financial burden to you or your family, eliminating one barrier to care.

Medicare is a federal program that provides health insurance for those 65 and older. It also serves people under 65 with chronic and disabling health challenges. To use Medicare for addiction treatment you need to find a program that accepts Medicare and is in network with your plan. Out of pocket costs and preauthorization requirements vary, so always check with your provider.

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient
Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.
intensive-outpatient iconIntensive Outpatient
Clients participating in an intensive outpatient program (IOP) receive frequent, high-level care while living at home. Many enter intensive outpatient treatment immediately after leaving inpatient rehab, but some transition directly from detox into IOP. Treatment generally involves nine to 20 therapeutic hours per week and a combination of addiction counseling, recovery-focused life skills training, and evidence-based complementary care. Many outpatient rehabs also offer medication assisted treatment (MAT) for clients with alcohol and/or opioid addiction.
aftercare iconAftercare Support
Clients enrolled in rehab aftercare programs have typically completed weeks or months of intensive treatment, often in inpatient detox and/or rehab centers, and may be receiving outpatient care. Drug rehab aftercare is designed to approach recovery as a life-long process. Clients and their case managers and care teams typically work together to formulate clients' continuing care plan, which may include peer coaching, career counseling, and 12 step program facilitation, among other services.

Treatments

People with alcoholism (also known as alcohol dependence or alcohol use disorder) do not have reliable control of their alcohol use. They experience withdrawal symptoms if drinking suddenly stops. Due to these symptoms, medical detox is often best for those who seek treatment for alcohol addiction. Once this supervised process is complete, alcohol rehab in Oklahoma can provide further treatment and follow-up for recovery.

To address the issues of addiction, each drug rehab in Oklahoma is tailored to meet the individual's needs. Treatment may occur in a residential or outpatient setting, and may last from a few days to several months.

Addiction treatment programs in Oklahoma help individuals to address substance abuse problems. With various programs available, including outpatient, inpatient, and partial hospitalization, you can find the right level of care. Typically, you can expect treatment programs to incorporate evidence-based therapies, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), skills training, recovery meetings, and mindfulness-based therapy. When integrated, these therapeutic interventions can help you successfully overcome substance abuse and continue to enjoy long-term mental health.

Programs

adult-program thumbnail image
Adult Program
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.
young-adult-program thumbnail image
Young Adult Program
Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Clinical Services

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

Without proper life skills, it is difficult to build a path to a better future. Life skills training gives you the tools you need to gain control of daily life and face challenges head on. This makes life skills training a crucial part of recovery programs in Oklahoma.

Experiential therapy is a form of therapy in which clients are encouraged to surface and work through subconscious issues by engaging in real-time experiences. Experiential therapy departs from traditional talk therapy by involving the body, and having clients engage in activities, movements, and physical and emotional expression. This can involve role-play or using props (which can include other people). Experiential therapy can help people process trauma, memories, and emotion quickly, deeply, and in a lasting fashion, leading to substantial and impactful healing.

It NEEDS a makeover~new paint would be great! Curb appeal could also be improved. I doubt that this place has had any remodeling since maybe the 70's? The t.v. area and activities room could use new furniture. The entire facility needs new flooring. It's so ugly and dated and looks filthy. The staff members are very kind and caring.
