I'm battling bouts of afib, accompanied by chest pains. When I get to the ER, the afib must subside, so the thin female Dr yells at me, tells me to go to the VA and sends me home. I've followed up with the VA and waiting for a heart halter, echocardiogram and have a stress test on the 20. But my BPM reach 150 to 170 and stay like that for hours. The ER Dr told me "You're not dying " go home. Ridiculous!

Other Forms of Payment

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Medicare is a federal program that provides health insurance for those 65 and older. It also serves people under 65 with chronic and disabling health challenges. To use Medicare for addiction treatment you need to find a program that accepts Medicare and is in network with your plan. Out of pocket costs and preauthorization requirements vary, so always check with your provider.

Military members, veterans, and eligible dependents have access to specific insurance programs that help them get the care they need. TRICARE and VA insurance can help you access low cost or no cost addiction and mental health treatment. Programs that accept military insurance often have targeted treatment focused on the unique challenges military members, veterans, and their families face.

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient

Outpatient rehab physical therapy is designed for patients who are in need of physical therapy due to an injury or serious medical condition but are independent enough to receive these services while living at home. The focus of outpatient physical therapy is helping people improve their mobility and quality of life, so they can get back to daily activities. Visits tend to be between 40 and 60 minutes, with additional exercises that a patient can do at home. An outpatient physical therapy clinic may also offer other services such as aquatic therapy, biofeedback, massage, and more.

Programs

Adult Program

Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.

Clinical Services

Exercise therapy (also known as active rehabilitation) consists of a regimen of physical activities prescribed by a physiotherapist to help a patient recover from conditions that impact movement and quality of life. Physical therapy exercise is used to address both common and more complex injuries and conditions. It focuses on moving the body and its different parts to relieve symptoms, improve mobility and levels of fitness. This includes gait training, neuro re‐education and customized therapeutic exercises designed to improve agility, balance, coordination, flexibility, range of motion, strength and muscle endurance and performance-specific activity.

If I could give 0 stars I would. My husband came in with a severely torn rotator cuff. He was in tears 10/10 pain scale, had no motion of his arm. They did an X-ray which was pointless because that doesn’t look at soft tissue, we already knew there wasn’t a broken bone. Doctor told us because he doesnt play sports he couldn’t get an MRI. We have an appointment with our primary for Monday. They didn’t care. This place is a joke. He just needed to be able to get through the weekend without being in severe pain, left with a sling and told to take Tylenol. So we are sitting here in agony waiting till Monday.

Yesterday my 5 WEEK OLD BABY went to the ER here in Pryor at 2:30 AM and seen Dr ball , my baby had a raspy and gunky cough, sneezing, whining almost all day, and had clear & mucus vomit and spit up. His vitals were normal and had no fever so DR J Ball did not want to do any “unnecessary test” His reasoning on not wanting to test him was because he was still active, smiling, gaining weight, no fever and eating well. He did say he would test him if we really wanted him to but he made it seem like it would be pointless, he said “they give false positives and I’m super comfortable not testing him”. So today we went to his pediatrician, as soon as we got into the room they swabbed him for RSV, flu and Covid just by the symptoms I told the receptionist over the phone. he still had good vitals and no fever but was clearly sick. This wasn’t “normal behavior for an infant” I’m home all day with my baby! I know when his sneezing and coughing more than normal, I know my baby doesn’t whine all day, I know what his normal spit up looks like just because we are “ first time parents” doesn’t mean I don’t know when something is wrong with my baby!!! Ive hated Pryor killcrest… I mean hillcrest for years but I thought they’d be different with an infant! But as soon as I seen Dr ball walk in I wanted to leave! When I was pregnant and throwing up for a whole week straight not being able to even hold water down I was given zofan even tho i told them zofan doesnt work for me, and discharged with “normal pregnancy sickness” I wasnt given any IV fluids, the next day i went to claremore Hillcrest and got THREE IV bags and proper medicine that works for me…. I have more horrible experiences at this hospital but this recent one tops it all cause it’s about my baby! Anyways I would not recommend this hospital even if you were dying, they don’t care about a patient whatsoever ever and just want to do as little as they can.
