I came here at a very low point in my life so I wasn't expecting a whole lot..they were going thru a transition at the time but they were trying to make the process work. DPR was truly an amazing experience. They genuinely care about you and your recovery journey. Lucus pours his heart into this place and it shows. Cindy, TJ and JJ were extremely supportive and personable. The nurses, Amanda, Kenya, Bradie, and Kate were so kind and helpful. And of course Drew and Star were a highlight with the awesome food they prepared and had really great insight. It is truly a gem in the recovery community.

La Hacienda truly changed my life. I’ve been to treatment centers all over the state of Texas, and La Hacienda was the last treatment center I ever had to go to. The 28 days I spent there helped save my life and gave me the foundation I needed for long term recovery. The staff genuinely care and are always available to help, encourage, and support clients through every stage of the process. The program is strongly rooted in a 12 step approach, which was exactly what I needed, while also offering specialized programming to meet different individual needs. The campus is beautiful, peaceful, and very clean, creating an environment where healing feels possible. The medical staff were also incredible and made me feel safe and cared for throughout my stay. I will always be grateful for the experience I had at La Hacienda and for the role they played in helping me rebuild my life.

Our family’s experience with LaHa left a lasting impression on me. My son first went there at a time when he wasn’t ready to embrace recovery and after that, he spent time at many other treatment centers. When he finally reached the point where he was ready to get better La Hacienda was the place he wanted to go. That spoke volumes to me. Out of everywhere he had been, La Hacienda was the place where he felt the most comfortable and cared for. It was a place that made him believe that recovery was possible. As a mother, I understood very little about addiction so I attended 4 different family programs at his various treatment centers and the one at LaHa was by far the best. When my son returned to LaHa he specifically asked his dad to attend the family session. It was here that he finally understood addiction as a disease and was given the perspective he needed to not only support our son’s recovery but his own through attending our local Alanon. We highly recommend La Hacienda.

I use to go to denton clinic last year and even years ago and I was honestly struggling very hard to keep up with payments and Im not here to bash... I blame myself for not communicating better. At the time I was forced to leave my denton home and stay with family in the colony and had to drive every day Mon thru Fri to denton. I finally tried looking for some place closer and thank the Lord He led me here. I called and they asked about insurance which I gave all my info about. I seriously had doubts that it would be of any help. Years ago methadone wasnt covered easily by insurance... But they made my day when they told me yep they take my insurance which is through marketplace. AND I would not have to pay anything out of pocket!! I was singing and dancing. Been here ever since. Even when I messed up and missed open enrollment, they still worked with me without insurance... i was so worried but everyone reassured me that they would find a way to help me here and they did. Everyone is SO NICE also. Love it here.

I absolutely love this place from the front staff all the way to the back staff. Everybody is so amazing and so kind. The office manager helped me find a location where I could get my dose since I missed it on Saturday and I was so grateful for him to reach out because I finally got my dose I needed Because THEY CARE! I recommend this place to anybody struggling with opioid Use disorder or pain. Don’t be afraid to pick up the phone and call. Everybody is so nice and you’ll be taken care of🖤

Support from dedicated therapists and recovery coaches as well as 24-hour staff combined with individually focused medical, nutrition, fitness, and spiritual aspects provide an amazing impetus for recovery and a strong foundation for continued success. WWR uses a tired approach to recovery, providing care and treatment at all levels allowing clients to develop healthy life skills that will support their recovery and overall wellbeing as they transition back into everyday life. The fellowship and community achieved here continues after treatment with alumni events and open meetings. Recovery is celebrated and remains a continued focus. The staff are knowledgeable and truly care about the clientele. This facility deserves all of the praise it has received and will forever be remembered by me as a cornerstone of my recovery journey.

I can’t say enough good things about Windmill Wellness Ranch. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcomed, comfortable, and genuinely cared for. Everyone there goes above and beyond to help, and you can tell they truly care about each person’s recovery journey. The accommodations were clean, peaceful, and made it easy to focus on healing and personal growth. The atmosphere is supportive, positive, and encouraging every single day. The staff is absolutely amazing — compassionate, professional, understanding, and always willing to help however they can. If you or a loved one is looking for a treatment center with caring people and a strong recovery environment, I highly recommend Windmill Wellness Ranch. Truly grateful for my experience there.

Good tax money for a good cause! 👋🏼 In all honesty, what matters is the number of councelors that take you seriously. There is no need to be rude. They’re there to assist you. Wether you take the help, or not, it is not their problem. I am a changed, renewed, and hopeful person because of the care The Orchard showed me during my 30-day stay. From the beautiful people who maintain the breathtaking 132 acres, to the very top of the medical/ clinical team — and of course Dan — every single person is beyond exceptional. I truly believe the “secret sauce” everyone talks about at The Orchard is community. It begins with the people who dedicate their lives not only to their own sobriety, but to ours as residents as well. I cannot express enough gratitude to everyone who welcomed me into their care with open arms — with no judgment, no preconceived notions, and every willingness to give me the help, the space, and the love I needed to heal from trauma that resulted in addiction. If you are looking for a place to become renewed and begin your recovery journey, I would wholeheartedly encourage you to take a hard look at The Orchard. Set along the Brazos River, the land itself feels special. When the Indigenous people named this river , they could not have known it would one day feel like “the arms of love” to so many. But that is exactly what this land is, and exactly what The Orchard is all about! I took this photo on the last evening of my stay…. It speaks volumes….. I came here barely alive, hopelessly alcoholic after years of heavy daily drinking. Going on 15 months sober. I wouldnt be here if it wasn't for them. I thought I'd need a 30-day program after, but i felt so much better by day 5 that I resolved to not drink again, and still havent. They have the drug cocktail down to a science, I barely felt any serious withdrawls. The nurses are very attentive albeit DMV-ish at times, which is a good thing in that context. The staff is very kind and caring, experienced and understanding. No nurse ratchet here. You will be frustrated by some of their institutional policies, but they do a good job explaining why those policies are in place without being overbearing or condescending. The reasons I gave it 4 stars, not 5. This is not an indictment but constructive criticism, and a warning about what to expect if these issues matter to you: The food seems to be mostly cooked off site and reheated. It's stale institutional slop, with processed food snacks left out. Nothing on the menu is fresh or natural. I had some food sensitivites and they had trouble wrapping their heads around it. I ended up mostly eating fruit cups and bagels with cream cheese. You cannot order food in. This policy is in place because people will try to sneak things in and this facility does take on patients who are there against their wishes via parents, employment deal, or court order. If you're running a detox, you may want to consider serving healthier food? Fresh fruit instead of canned? some high fiber grains? real meat, not frozen food? I brought this up. Hopefully they fixed it. There wasn't much to do there. They had a room full of movie theater seats with a flatscreen, a broken guitar, some supermarket books, AA stuff, and a set of chairs outside. Mostly you sit around and talk, watch tv, or sleep. It's a small property but you can walk laps. There's no counseling at the detox. Some AA volunteer groups shows up once in a while to talk. It may be helpful for some. There should be an on site counselor that does that job full time. Everyone else has their own specific job and sitting down and talking to people 1 on 1 didnt seem to be part of the description. They seem to be focused entirely on the medical detox aspect of the process. If you need rehab, you do that after, or find a rehab that does detox on site.

When I walked into Lighthouse on October 22, 2025, I had no idea what to expect. A couple days prior to my intake, I met with Austin Brown for an admissions screening. Bonded immediately and had a lot of similar experiences. I knew this was a good place for me. Then, I walked back in on October 27th, my first day of sobriety, for intake. I was nervous to say the least. Nothing in my life had gone according to plan over the past couple years, and I had really hit rock bottom the last 10 months. Reece conducted my initial intake and I got along with him great right off the bat. This meeting, immediately prior to my first IOP session at 6pm, showed me this was a serious place for recovery. I was all-in. Then came down to IOP evening sessions, 3 days a week for 3 hours. 12 week program and if you do well, you may have the opportunity to be invited back for an additional 8 week SOP program. The first thing I realized in IOP was I am not alone. There were other guys in similar positions as me and I could relate to them instantly. If not for my peers in IOP, led by our group counselors Jose and Collin, I don’t know if I would have stayed. Friendships were sparked in that room that will likely carry a lifetime. It’s all about who you surround yourself with during recovery. You need good people. Good counselors and good peers. You will get that at Lighthouse and you’ll get all the support you need along the way, in a beautiful facility.

Our son has been in Lighthouse’s sober living program for the past ten months. It is hard to know where to take your loved one when they are in crisis mode and at their most vulnerable. I am leaving this to encourage anyone needing to get their loved one help in the midst of an addiction. Lighthouse Recovery has provided a team of experienced professionals to lead our son out of addiction and into recovery. Their progress-based approach has given him the individualized care he has needed. During this entire process the Lighthouse team has always met our son where he was at, we have never felt like he was part of a system. His clinical team have done an outstanding job of identifying his mental health needs and getting him the treatment he needed. I know there are names I don’t know, but Brooke and Sam have been excellent all of these months. Sam really earned our son’s trust. The sober living program has been the daily guidance and structure to allow our son to heal and learn how to live sober. Bryce, Frankie, and all of the house managers have been fully committed to our son’s success. Bryce, as his case manager, has been a bridge for our family between the care team and our son. His communication is excellent. He has kept us up-to-date at all times and responds momentarily when we reach out. We have never felt cutoff from this process in any way. He will now be our son’s sobriety coach and we could not imagine the next phase of our son’s recovery without Bryce. We have experienced how the clinical and sober living teams work together for the mission of helping our son step into a full and productive life, healthy and sober. We will be forever grateful for everything they have done to equip our son and to give him this chance. They have stood in between our son and his addiction in a way our family could not have and they provided a safe haven for him to begin sobriety, Lighthouse Recovery has our highest recommendation and confidence.

Long story short, 35 years of hard drinking landed me in a ditch in a city I'm not even from. But I thank GOD every day for it! My desperation for change got me to Briarwood detox center. I was so scared but I was unusually willing to do anything, the night before waking up in that ditch I was contemplating suicide, again. For so many years I watched my life fall apart time and time again, over and over. I really never understood why I was unable to control my drinking. Leaving Briarwood and while being transported to Nova recovery center I didn't know what to expect but my anger and anxiety were already building. I still can't get over how amazing Nova looks, it pretty much relaxes you the minute you arrive! I had never been to "rehab" before so I was blown away by the beauty of the amenities and the attentive staff. So with that said, I was sweet and grateful to be there for about 48 hours and then I started being the walking talking character defect stage character I was, telling everyone how they should do their jobs and finding things, if not inventing things to complain about. I still get embarrassed sometimes of my actions and comments I made the first weeks of my stay. But what stands out is how the staff didn't even blink! I never got the reaction I would of deserved! I was loved on! I was given understanding and compassion! They treated me like the sick person who needed help, that I was! They dug in and held me accountable with truth and what I referrer to as grace. The Recovery specialist who work with us, for us and teach us vital solutions to my disease of alcoholism that I will be forever grateful for. From the frequent individual counseling sessions to the daily group counseling classes to the, "hey I need to talk!", I received an understanding of how to maintain my life of sobriety! Nova is a very important and special place to me so I could really go on and on but the main point I want to testify about is this, I'm truly a better person today because of the dedication to helping people by the Nova recovery family! This place is amazing. The complaints in the reviews worried me. But the moment I arrived I was treated with the upmost care. Only weak people leave a treatment facility like this. This place saved my life and I was treated with dignity and respect throughout. I have my life back and that is what I went there for. Anybody you read on here that has anything bad to say is soft. This place can fix anyone WILLING to be vulnerable. Some adults never got told they couldn't be unicorns when they grew up and it shows.

I can't say enough great things about my treatment at RU. I was in the PHP program and the curriculum is awesome. They definitely help you get out of your comfort zone with Open Mic on Wednesdays, which I loved! The mens houses are both very nice and comfortable. 85 days sober and still going strong. Every single person at Starlite played a role in saving my life. From the tireless kitchen staff to the nurses, therapists, and instructors, I was met with genuine care, compassion, and professionalism at every turn. What touched me most was the community of people in recovery. Nova is far from perfect, and some of the information can be misleading. But if you want to dive deep into the 12 Steps while enjoying good food and a beautiful scenic view, this is the place for you. The staff is great — the RAs and techs are friendly and genuinely care. The woman who runs it, however, can be unreasonable and enforces some silly rules (like not being allowed to save your food for later — insanity), but fortunately, she’s not around much. Jeff and Korn are the ones who really run the show. They have a ton of recovery experience and are both awesome guys who truly care. Jeff changed my life and helped save my marriage, so the place gets five stars from me for that reason alone. Thank you to Jeff, Korn, Cassandra, Jen, Leon Phelps, Aaron, and the rest of the staff!

Santé Center for Healing saved my life. I spent 91 days there, and I can honestly say they were the best 91 days I have spent in the last 10 years. I have not felt this clear, this alive, or this connected to myself since I was 21 years old — and now I am middle-aged. Santé taught me who I was. Not just who I thought I was, not just who my addiction told me I was, but who I actually am underneath the fear, shame, secrets, and survival patterns. I learned how to be honest. I learned how to be humble. I learned how to be seen. I learned how to let other people help me. For the first time in a very, very long time, I made real friendships. I healed relationships with men. I found a new respect for women. I learned how to be part of a community again. I learned that recovery is not something I can do alone — and that trusting others is not weakness. It is wisdom. Before Santé, my addiction had ground my life down into a tiny pinpoint of vision. Everything felt small, secretive, isolated, and hopeless. Now my life feels bigger — visibly, emotionally, spiritually, and experientially bigger. The food was good — be prepared to gain a couple pounds, LOL. The activities, sports, basketball, volleyball, and especially the ropes course were powerful parts of my healing. The ropes course was heroic for me. It taught me how to trust, how to work with a team, and how to do things I thought were impossible on my own — only to discover they were possible with support. Those lessons were not just taught once. They were repeated over and over again until they became part of me. The clinical staff is world-class. The people there genuinely care. My primary therapist and case manager, Lisa, was outstanding — truly international-class. She was wise, direct, compassionate, and deeply skilled. Quite simply, she was amazing. Jumping for my coin was one of the most courageous things I have ever done. That moment represented more than completion. It represented a new life. I am so deeply grateful for Santé Center for Healing. If you want help, and you are truly ready to receive it, Santé is the place to go. It is where you go to find the foundation for a new life. They would not approve my Zepbound shot for 3 weeks so I gained 40 pounds in 41 days. I went from 200 pounds when I went in to 240 pounds when I was finally able to check after I left. They have a habit of taking forever and dragging their feet when it comes to approving anything medically necessary outside of their prescribed regimen. But, that's really my main complaint with the facility. Otherwise, the staff and community is very nice.

We are often there at our lowest moments and unhealthy. There is agency on the client to embrace their own journey. What I like the most about the HSR curriculum is that it is diverse. They are not endoctrinated to one model as one model does not fit all. They introduce you to many tools so we can pick the ones that serve each of us. When I referred one of my clients to treatment, he replied, “I’ve sent my wife to these places before. They take my money and do nothing, but I get to tell my friends I tried. She needs healing, not this.” I understand where he’s coming from as I’ve read similar stories in the media. HOWEVER, those experiences are the exact OPPOSITE of the care given at Healing Springs Ranch. I’ve had the joy and honor of getting to know Rachel and Melissa the last two years. I’ve heard how they talk about the business after hours and I've seen the work they put in to make HSR amazing. They are creative in their programming, dedicated to their clients, and committed to doing the right thing. You’re not there to play on your phone and do your own thing. This ain’t Celebrity Rehab. Their program goes beyond the addiction and drills down to the trauma that caused the addiction. When that trauma is explored, understood, and healed, a new, healthy lifestyle begins. It’s amazing (and hard not to cry) when you see a family member hug these two women and says, “You gave me my son back”. If your family is ready, Healing Springs Ranch is your greatest hope.
