Windmill Wellness Ranch saved me in more ways than one. All members of the staff care and are genuine in helping people recover. They teach and give you tools in whatever it is that is troubling you and educate those individuals on how to move forward. Families should look here first if they have a loved one that needs a solid recovery program.

I am a born pessimist, so I spent a great deal of time looking into this place. First, I found nothing negative whatsoever, Secondly, I spent 60 days here and cried leaving. This place and ALL of it's staff saved my life. I can remember spending countless times in the nurses station, at the wellness advocates desk, and even in the Blanco hall, talking to the different staff about my days, my problems, my achievements, etc. And EVERY SINGLE PERSON TOOK THE TIME TO LISTEN AND HELP OR CHEER ME ON!! There's not a staff member in this place that doesn't care about each person. The therapy sessions are incredible and I can't thank them enough for showing me I wasn't hopeless and giving me all the tools I need to have a beautiful, healthy and sober life. I am 45 years old, and I never thought this was possible.

If you want to get clean and sober, this is the place! The medical team is top notch. The counselors are amazing. The facility and grounds are comforting. The food is great. This is a place to take your troubles and begin your healing. This place saved my life! No exaggerations. If anything, complete understatements.

There are very few residential programs in Texas as good as Laha for individuals struggling with addiction. They have a beautiful campus that gives these nostalgic summer camp vibes that brings you back to a happier time. The perfect environment to reconnect with that inner child that needs some healing. The staff is knowledgeable and really compassionate. They go above and beyond for the clients they work with. I would happily recommend or refer any friend, family member, collogue or client here for treatment.

The care I received was god tier and the food was excellent. I was recovered by 30 days and the aftercare is amazing. They really do care about their patients and treat them with the utmost hospitality. Overall I had the most incredible experience and practically did not want to leave! I highly recommend this treatment center above all else!

After cancer and chemotherapy i was struggling with sleep deprivation and anxiety of returning cancer. Also challenges from the many side effects of chemotherapy. I found Kemah palms recovery had a mission to help no matter what the challenge. I went thru their pain management program with Barry seeking better treatments and left with a solid plan. Though I didn’t struggle with addiction the staff and medical team treated me with the most compassion and respect understanding my situation was different but helping anyway they could to get my life back after cancer and chemotherapy treatment. I can’t speak more highly of the staff there and the personal friendships I made. I’m hoping they expand into the dfw area because there is nothing like that in dfw area with this kind of care.

Great staff who truly listen and treat you like a patient not just an “addict,” as many places do. At Symetria, you never have to worry about being belittled or dehumanized. It’s my go to clinic. I’ve tried other centers, but the Symetria in Lewisville has always been the most caring and supportive place I’ve experienced. And same with the hurst location but this location is my favorite!

Symetria of Lewisville made a life-changing difference not just for my girlfriend, who was a patient there, but also for me as I supported her through treatment. The care and support provided by the team were unlike anything I’ve seen at other facilities. They treat you like a whole person, not just a diagnosis or a problem to be solved. The staff is genuinely compassionate, attentive, and easy to talk to. Conversations often went beyond just treatment — they cared about what motivated us, what we enjoyed, and who we were outside of our struggles. One staff member even introduced me to the movie Challengers with Zendaya, which, surprisingly, became a personal turning point. That film gave me something to connect with — a reason to believe in the possibility of rebuilding myself — and that connection helped drive my own journey to sobriety. Long story short, 35 years of hard drinking landed me in a ditch in a city I'm not even from. But I thank GOD every day for it! My desperation for change got me to Briarwood detox center. I was so scared but I was unusually willing to do anything, the night before waking up in that ditch I was contemplating suicide, again. For so many years I watched my life fall apart time and time again, over and over. I really never understood why I was unable to control my drinking. Leaving Briarwood and while being transported to Nova recovery center I didn't know what to expect but my anger and anxiety were already building. I still can't get over how amazing Nova looks, it pretty much relaxes you the minute you arrive! I had never been to "rehab" before so I was blown away by the beauty of the amenities and the attentive staff. So with that said, I was sweet and grateful to be there for about 48 hours and then I started being the walking talking character defect stage character I was, telling everyone how they should do their jobs and finding things, if not inventing things to complain about. I still get embarrassed sometimes of my actions and comments I made the first weeks of my stay. But what stands out is how the staff didn't even blink! I never got the reaction I would of deserved! I was loved on! I was given understanding and compassion! They treated me like the sick person who needed help, that I was! They dug in and held me accountable with truth and what I referrer to as grace. The Recovery specialist who work with us, for us and teach us vital solutions to my disease of alcoholism that I will be forever grateful for. From the frequent individual counseling sessions to the daily group counseling classes to the, "hey I need to talk!", I received an understanding of how to maintain my life of sobriety! Nova is a very important and special place to me so I could really go on and on but the main point I want to testify about is this, I'm truly a better person today because of the dedication to helping people by the Nova recovery family! I really needed some accountability and to be around other sober people after a relapse on alcohol in August. I signed up for the online IOP service and my counselor was Jasmine. She was amazing. I found myself looking forward to group everyday and felt a great relief of wanting to use after group. It helped me stay sober and maintain abstinence from alcohol I am truly grateful for the program. Jasmine is amazing and I consider her a good friend at this point she was able to talk me out of using my stinking thinking a lot of times and evaluate my situations from another perspective, which helped me get away from the parts of me that contribute to relapse.

As the parent of a loved one who is addicted to alcohol, I highly commend the services provided to him and to our whole family while he was a resident at Lighthouse Recovery in Dallas, Texas. Lighthouse provided a supportive environment and a treatment regimen that was individually tailored to his needs, his strengths, and his weaknesses. Even when he suffered setbacks, the staff continued to provide structure, support, and encouragement to succeed. During his time at Lighthouse, his case manager, Michael, provided regular updates on his progress in weekly phone calls to us family members, and he was always accessible when we had questions or concerns. Even when my son chose to leave Lighthouse so that he could resume drinking, the Lighthouse staff stayed in touch with him every day to make sure he was safe, and they eventually were able to persuade him to enter a long-term rehab program.

My time at lighthouse was phenomenal, the staff were really great and they accommodated all my needs. The clinical was amazing, and the community really helped me during my time there. I was able to graduate high school thanks to them and i would recommend lighthouse to anyone who is looking for a sober living

But you all took me in, gave me a place to get my head straight, and most importantly, you never gave up on me—even when I wasn’t making it easy. The Orchard changed my life! Between the staff, counselors, and management there unified goal is something I have never seen! From the minute you arrive you are greeted with hellos, smiles, and staff focused solely on you and your recovery. With accomodations similar to a 5 star resort you won't find another facility that pays attention to the little details. Lastly, what I believe makes The Orchard the best in the country....is there program. While learning about addiction, Counselors work with you to address the underlying issues that started you down your addiction journey. I was able to tackle years of trauma and unspoken issues that once addressed freed me from the shackles of addiction. Since leaving the Orchard I have remained sober and The O will always be a place of healing and hope! If your looking for the real deal- this is the place you want to be!

The Springboard Center is a great treatment facility for anyone willing to get sober. It's a 30 day inpatient program. Springboard was very supportive every step of the way. The counselors, RA's and all the staff were extemely compassionate, kind and understanding. I have been so blessed to have been given the opportunity to rebuild my life on a clean and sober slate. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would as words cannot express my gratitude. I will forever be eternally grateful for my experience at Springboard.

The whole experience at the SpringBoard center has been positive.From the intake interview where they understood exactly what I was going through mentally, emotionally and physically. To providing transportation to the facility to start my recovery treatment. Counseling, therapist as well as individual sessions were what made all the difference in my recovery. I always felt that my needs were met at all aspects of recovery. Kitchen staff, janitorial kept the facility in top noch condition. Everyone who has asked me how I am doing in my journey of recovery, I tell them, " it wouldn't have been possible without The SpringBoard Center ." Springboard is the best decision I’ve ever made!!! Tyner was so helpful in helping me get into the doors and so welcoming once I did, I’m forever grateful for him. It was such a life changing experience in just 30 days. The staff is phenomenal and the program and curriculum is one of a kind. I’ve gained so much knowledge about alcoholism and drug abuse than I ever have before. The staff truly care for everyone and show so much love to each individual, I felt supported the entire time. It was such an amazing experience and I had the best time with the other clients which became family by the end of the program. I never thought I’d say “I miss rehab” after I graduated and discharged that’s how amazing it was for me. I enjoyed every day in Springboard. Best rehab ever to exist!!!!

I have struggled for years. Symetria and their staff helped me discover why. Their outpatient approach allows you to still work and attend your sessions too. No judging, no ridicule. They provide the system, you provide the work. The struggle is real but it works if you work it!!!!

Amazing clinic and all the people who work here truly care about you and your well being. I was receiving treatment at another clinic in California and I recieve plenty of blood work never received my results or was briefed on the condition of my health. Here I received blood work when I was admitted and that same week I was handed my blood work and they addressed that I was anemic which I didn't even know! If you do your research like I had you will come to find that symetria isn't just the best out patient addiction treatment there is but that college station is their best location on top of it.

The people here go above and beyond to make sure you feel at home. This place is awesome I wouldn't go anywheres else 😋👍

I believe into action is a good place to restart your life if you find yourself in trouble. I’ve seen people come here and change. They will not change you unless you change yourself. This place was a huge game changer for my husband. He was really struggling with alcoholism when he arrived. Everyone was kind, honest, and patient. He stayed the whole 90 days and still wasn’t ready to leave, he loved it so much. He found peace in himself here. We were recommended to Touchstone by a friend and we tell everyone who asks about Touchstone what a difference it made for my husband. He had attended other rehabs in the past but no where else made a difference. Touchstone will not only change the life of the addict but the life of those that love them as well.

My wife and I just recently graduated DPR the place saved our lives and marriage I watched my wife not only gain recovery but help other clients in their recovery as well. We built a relationship with Jesus and now we live in Dallas and are productive members in society the program works thank you to Marcus Brown Raven Brian J Caroline Crystal Sarah Esther Gabby Joel amazing the therapist and RCs are great Henry Mack love you bro. But there is one thing that desperately needs to change and that s Mr William Langley the facility manager. He is a cancer to clients recovery in DPR he needs to be removed from staff before he destroys the very program that saved my family he is very disrespectful lies and is only about insurance money and it pains me to see that new clients won t get the same opportunity that we had the relapses are up the ACAs are up and he should be banded from all DPR property and I can promise you will see a growth in recovery but as long as he remains I wouldn t recommend anyone going to this program until he is removed immediately and this is coming from a leader within and out here if this program a walking testament that the program works but as long as Mr Langley is around all clients are doomed! I will go to wherever and whoever to expose him because people need this program and he simply won t test until they fail

I was a part of the Liberty/cover six program I would like to thank all the staff and my friends at starlight especially Teresa Brunsvold who went above and beyond the call of duty to save my life I am still in recovery I now live in the rolling Stones Oxford House in corpus Christi I have been clean and sober since February 14th 2025 Teresa Brunsvold took us on outings to the museum of the Pacific war in Fredericksburg to enchanted Rock she even took us fishing I love her to death and I miss her very much she's inspired me to dig deeper to push the envelope whenever I'm feeling lazy or just not showing up and I get my butt up as if she is still there I love you Teresa thank you for saving my life

I like dpr especially with the staff they have right now, I have never felt cared for like I have hear. There is complete understanding with all situations. I like the fact that most staff are recovering addicts as well.plus after doing 60 days if for some reason u need to come back you get 60 more days for free

HSR has one of the most thorough approaches to address Addiction, Mental Health and Trauma that I have ever seen or been apart of. For years, I bounced around between impatient and residential treatment centers to manage my mental health needs. Healing Springs actually helped me pull back the layers of a lifetime full of trauma and abuse to see how certain patterns and behaviors had formed out of SURVIVAL. My 60 days at the Ranch were so eye opening and completely transformative; looking back, it was the life-saving re-set I needed on this complex healing journey. HSR gave me the tools, language and understanding on how to radically approach my healing and grief journey. 2.5 years post discharge and I'm still diving deep into trauma therapy and using the tools and understanding I gained at Healing Springs on a daily bases...... AND, I actually joined the staff here at HSR full-time 7 months ago! To work along side the same therapists and staff that saw me through my time here is indescribable. To share space in both worlds as a peer support and professional is an honor I'll never take lightly. Sharing my journey of hope with those who are sitting in the thick of their process brings a special connection and empathy. Understanding (and seeing!) our Staff's heart for Clients and their continued support of our Alumni makes me so thankful to have been a client, Alumni and now to be apart of the the team as our Alumni Coordinator. When I lost my family, my home, my community, my church, my car, my pet..... it was the staff at HSR that stepped in and became my biggest support system and the family I needed then and now. In the realm of residential treatment aka: rehabilitation. Nothing else compares to Healing Springs Ranch (herein called HSR). Your life is so fragile, don’t sell yourself short, get your life back, I did. This is the place to go if you want help finally getting it done and/or if you’re wanting to be healed. It works if you work at it. Also, I can attest to the entire facility including all the staff and the Licensed Professional Therapists (LPCs). As for the staff and most of the LPCs, they are there as recovered alcoholics and/or addicts themselves. They love helping every client every day, they understand what’s going on in your head and can truly help you because they have been there too. The Staff has complete empathy for you, and because of the staff, HSR is not like the typical 30-day rehab. It’s part of the staff’s healing process to carry the message forward and share the lessons they’ve learned with fellow alcoholics, addicts and those struggling with mental health and process addictions. I have been to several 30-day residential treatment facilities over the last 5-years, and I kept relapsing. And then I went to HSR with their 45-day Cognitive Therapy Program. Speaking of Cognitive Therapy, HSR has a Boatload of (LPCs) who are continuously there to help you understand what’s causing you to drink and/or use drugs, for that matter anyone who is having to deal with Process Behavioral Issues. They help you get to the bottom of the “WHY” you’re drinking and/or using, plus they have an on-staff Psychiatrist, Nurses & Dietician to help you physically and therapeutically heal both mind & body. It’s a different type of facility that works if you complete and graduate from their 45-day program. Examples of Process Behavioral Issues could be anything such as codependency, depression, self-harm or self-sabotaging behaviors, suicidal ideations, frequent interrupting of others, excessive talking, ignoring instructions, outbursts of anger, physical aggression, spousal abuse and defiance towards authority figures, procrastination, social withdrawal, and difficulty regulating emotions. It's been working wonders for me and my fellow Alums who have Completed and Graduated from their program.

This place was a God-SEND. 🙏🏻🙏🏻 I was able to open up and truly get the help I needed. Past Emotional & Mental issues were addressed, which helped me get Clarity & Freedom. Thank you, Great Oaks, for helping me start my Journey.

I went to Great Oaks (affectionately known as GORC) in late December of 2024. For the thirty days I was there I was surrounded by the greatest group of support, education, and therapy. Its been several months and I wouldnt be in the very capable and strong place that I am now without the experience I had. I would recommend GORC to anyone who is struggling with substance abuse and the underlying reasons why.
