Their evaluation is not tailored for SLP, it s $300 for the same evaluation the school can provide. Do not waste your money. The technician tried to speak over my child and insist he can read good when he can not. I was told this evaluation would have more insight than the schools, it was the same. They do not provide a pre assessment to check and see if it s a waste of time. You can hear children screaming and it s a stressful environment.

I have had 3 kids attend ABA and speech therapy at MeBe Bellevue. We moved here from out of state, and the staff made the move easy. They coordinated with the previous ABA facility to get latest assessments and current techniques that we were using. We were able to coordinate a start date 2 months out for all 3 kids. My kids have worked with 3 BCBAs and many RBTs here and they ve all been wonderful and helped my kids progress and transition to school. The BCBAs are always suggesting resources and fun community activities we can participate in. All of the therapists here are kind and fun!My oldest daughter is non-verbal, elopes, and self-harms. Amber, the speech therapist, progressed her on her AAC device from short requests to full sentences, which was such a great achievement that the school district s speech therapist was impressed. One of the therapists, Christina, was especially great with my daughter! She was always smiling and took things at my daughter s pace. All of the therapists encouraged my daughter to use her AAC device and the few verbal words she has. My daughter is in kindergarten now, and the BCBAs provided assessments to the school district to aid in the IEP process, and offered to help during the IEP process as well. They continue to ask about her even though she s not at MeBe anymore! My middle child has emotional regulation issues and the RBTs at this location are phenomenal at encouraging him to self-soothe and come up with techniques he can use to separate himself from whatever is bothering him. My youngest has mild autism, and the therapists here have gotten her up to speed with where she should be for her age. Aleesha is helping us with my younger kids transitions to preschool. MeBe has been on board with all of our personal goals in addition to the insurance goals. We ve worked on potty training, speech, emotional regulation, parallel play, working in groups, and many, many other skills. They make all of the tasks fun, so the kids aren t just working at a table. They re playing games, making a mess, talking through feelings, singing songs! My kids have seen great progress here and have enjoyed their time here.

Other Forms of Payment

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Financial aid can take many forms. Centers may have grants or scholarships available to clients who meet eligibility requirements. Programs that receive SAMHSA grants may have financial aid available for those who need treatment as well. Grants and scholarships can help you pai for treatment without having to repay.

Medicare is a federal program that provides health insurance for those 65 and older. It also serves people under 65 with chronic and disabling health challenges. To use Medicare for addiction treatment you need to find a program that accepts Medicare and is in network with your plan. Out of pocket costs and preauthorization requirements vary, so always check with your provider.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient

Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.

Treatments

Mental health rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from mental illnesses like bipolar disorder, clinical depression, anxiety disorders, schizophrenia, and more. Mental health professionals at these facilities are trained to understand and treat mental health issues, both in individual and group settings.

Programs

adult-program thumbnail image

Adult Program

Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.
young-adult-program thumbnail image

Young Adult Program

Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Clinical Services

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a therapy modality that focuses on the relationship between one's thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. It is used to establish and allow for healthy responses to thoughts and feelings (instead of unhealthy responses, like using drugs or alcohol). CBT has been proven effective for recovering addicts of all kinds, and is used to strengthen a patient's own self-awareness and ability to self-regulate. CBT allows individuals to monitor their own emotional state, become more adept at communicating with others, and manage stress without needing to engage in substance abuse.

Whether a marriage or other committed relationship, an intimate partnership is one of the most important aspects of a person's life. Drug and alcohol addiction affects both members of a couple in deep and meaningful ways, as does rehab and recovery. Couples therapy and other couples-focused treatment programs are significant parts of exploring triggers of addiction, as well as learning how to build healthy patterns to support ongoing sobriety.

Research clearly demonstrates that recovery is far more successful and sustainable when loved ones like family members participate in rehab and substance abuse treatment. Genetic factors may be at play when it comes to drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health issues. Family dynamics often play a critical role in addiction triggers, and if properly educated, family members can be a strong source of support when it comes to rehabilitation.

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

Trauma therapy addresses traumatic incidents from a client's past that are likely affecting their present-day experience. Trauma is often one of the primary triggers and potential causes of addiction, and can stem from child sexual abuse, domestic violence, having a parent with a mental illness, losing one or both parents at a young age, teenage or adult sexual assault, or any number of other factors. The purpose of trauma therapy is to allow a patient to process trauma and move through and past it, with the help of trained and compassionate mental health professionals.

If I could give this place ZERO stars, I absolutely would. I am extremely disappointed with how MeBe handled my daughter's case. For the past three months, we’ve been reaching out to arrange speech and ABA services, only to face constant delays and an exhausting process. Eventually, the intake coordinator began speech services, explaining that ABA would take even longer to initiate. Since MeBe assured us they would provide services, we rearranged my daughter's school schedule to accommodate, planning for her to be at MeBe from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM each day. We even signed a Release of Information form so her school could communicate directly with MeBe. Finally, after all this back-and-forth, we met with their BCBA on Monday. My daughter, used to returning to school immediately after speech services, was upset and reluctant to stay. The BCBA worked with her for maybe 10 minutes before she insisted on her candy bar and going home. Today, MeBe informed us they couldn't take her, claiming their staff isn’t equipped to work with her. Autism is a spectrum—children with varying needs will always seek services. Why didn’t they disclose that their program is only suitable for high-functioning, verbal children? They wasted not only our time but their own, and, most importantly, my daughter’s time—time that could have been spent seeking appropriate support elsewhere.

The aids were great with my son He learned a lot when he was attending but The company is one star all together my commitment with them was terminated Not by me when I asked why I was told that because my child missed an appointment when I told them that in the papers I signed it said if I missed an appointment it would be met with a solution they decided that even though we Both signed paperwork it was not honorable. They declined to continue services with my son only to what I can assume is my insurance is paying for it and I am not paying out of hand. Definitely not multicultural. The papers you sign have no commitment. Made This post one year ago but edited to add a comment about the supervisor / director so no one else has to go through what I have. Supervisor is horrible and lied to me and my father she will smile in your face and terminate your child with no answer

My experience at mebe I divided it into two previous and present. When my son start therapy the first year they had a good manager and also good therapist specially the therapist we had the frist one she made a big progress to my son.recently The turn over is so high one therapist stay only maximum 3 or 4 month ,no consistencies. The supervisor they do not follow up there therapist. Schedule- they canceled any time while you are waiting them out side to drop off. If they think they don’t do good job they create a story about your son. Instead of tell you the truth. They focus only the easy way to make money. They are not commuted to change your kid.Mebe before I know it is gone! Very disrespectful supervisor wow I It is not working for me !

We have been coming here for a little over 2 years for ABA, speech and feeding therapies. My son absolutely loves going into therapy and he has made so much progress since he started with them. After completing his ABA program we decided to stay with MeBe to continue his feeding and speech. He has so much fun when in therapy and I love seeing all progress he has made. I highly recommend them.

Thank you, Anne! We are honored to work with you family and are so happy to hear about your son's progress!

We left another ABA centre in early 2020 after having a mediocre experience and did a ton of research, including interviewing a number of ABA providers before deciding on MeBe. Our son has had in home and in-clinic ABA with MeBe for over 2 years as well as OT and speech therapy when they added those services and I have been extremely satisfied with the level of care, the quality of therapists, and what my son has learned and accomplished in that time. I have loved having MeBe as part of our son’s team. They staff feels like the perfect size where there are rarely gaps in staffing and getting the right amount of hours is not a challenge but where most of the BTs still know my son’s name and my face even if they haven’t worked directly with our family. The quality of the clinical staff is phenomenal and they are very collaborative. All in all I would recommend MeBe to any family looking for ABA, speech, and occupational therapies.

Thank you so much, Julia! We are honored to serve your family.
