At my lowest broken point in life, Bright Future accepted me with open arms. The staff is incredible. All staff had my best interest in mind: from dealing with addiction, to personal issues, and a listening ear. The staff is also so very approachable and genuine. I look for reasons to go back to see them as often as I can just to say hello as they helped me save my life. The house is very nice and comfortable. As a resident you have space to meditate, read, or relax. Also have very sufficient space for residents to mingle and build friendships. Prepared food throughout the week to enjoy on you own time I highly recommend Thank You Bright Future for saving my life -Robert

Accepted Insurance

Bright Future Recovery works with several private insurance providers and also accepts private payments when possible, please contact to verify your specific insurance provider.

Other Forms of Payment

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Military members, veterans, and eligible dependents have access to specific insurance programs that help them get the care they need. TRICARE and VA insurance can help you access low cost or no cost addiction and mental health treatment. Programs that accept military insurance often have targeted treatment focused on the unique challenges military members, veterans, and their families face.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient

Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.

inpatient iconInpatient

Inpatient rehab provides intensive treatment for clients exiting detox, those in early recovery, and those at an elevated risk of relapse. Unlike outpatient drug rehab, clients receiving inpatient care reside at the facility for the duration of the program. The length of stay may range from two weeks to 18 months or more, depending on the client's needs and the program's design. Inpatient treatment typically involves extensive addiction education and recovery-focused life skills training.

intensive-outpatient iconIntensive Outpatient

Intensive outpatient programs (IOP) support a client's sustained sobriety as they exit detox or step down from an inpatient program. IOPs are also designed for clients who are at an elevated risk of relapse. Intensive outpatient treatment typically requires clients to engage in a minimum of nine hours of therapy per week, but clients may receive up to 20 therapeutic hours weekly. IOP treatment modalities often combine psychotherapy, recovery-focused life skills training, and medication assisted treatment (MAT).

aftercare iconAftercare Support

Rehab aftercare programs offer clients in addiction recovery a robust continuum of care after clients have completed active treatment. These services address recovery as a life-long process and are designed to evolve with clients' changing needs. Clients may partner with their case managers and/or addiction recovery team to identify the rehab aftercare services that are right for them. They may receive career counseling, housing assistance, peer coaching, 12 step program induction, among many other services.

12-step icon12-Step

Participants engaged in 12 step programs receive intensive peer coaching (sponsorship) and community support. Spiritual development as a means of achieving psychological and emotional healing and growth is the cornerstone of 12 step recovery, but religious affiliations are not required. Meetings are free, anonymous, and open to the public, though specialized formats are available, including groups for seniors, teens, and family members. Evening, night, and day meetings are conducted year-round in most communities.

sober-living iconSober Living Homes

Sober living homes in California offers an intermediate sober environment that has less structure than inpatient rehab but more than typical home environments. This makes it a good option for those who have concerns about transitioning back to the "real world" after treatment. Residents can typically live at the halfway house as long as they want, if they are willing to follow house rules. These may include a curfew, chores, and maintaining a job.

heart-hands iconIntervention Services

When an individual is in denial about their substance use disorder, their loved ones may organize a drug intervention in California. This effort involves gently but assertively confronting the individual about their substance use and sharing how it has affected those who care about them. A professional interventionist may also attend this gathering. Their expertise with intervention services can prove helpful in guiding the conversation to a positive result.

24-hour icon24-Hour Clinical Care

During the first phase of recovery – detox – it is crucial to have 24-hour clinical care in California. This care provides constant monitoring in order to ensure your safely and comfort as you progress through the withdrawal process for drug or alcohol addiction. Licensed professionals prescribe medications to treat withdrawal symptoms and provide frequent monitoring to ensure your safely as addictive toxins leave your system.

medically-assisted-detox iconMedically Assisted Detox

Drug and alcohol addiction often takes a heavy toll on one’s body. Over time, a physical dependence can develop, meaning the body physiologically needs the substance to function. Detox is the process of removing drugs and/or alcohol from the body, a process that can be lethal if mismanaged. Medical detox is done by licensed medical professionals who monitor vital signs and keep you safe, healthy, and as comfortable as possible as you go through detox and withdrawal.

Programs

adult-program thumbnail image

Adult Program

Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.
young-adult-program thumbnail image

Young Adult Program

Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

If I could leave 0 stars, I would. I came here 4-5 years ago and am still in shock at how horrible this facility treated my family and I. This facility and its owner, Cheree Ashley, we're unimaginable cruel to my mother in a desperate time. I was drinking and she was willing to do anything to help me get clean. This place completely STOPPED anti-psychotic medicine I had been taking for years on day 2 of me being here. This obviously caused me to become emotionally unstable- on top of the withdrawal from alcohol I was dealing with. They stopped giving me any medicine at all by day 5. I had been in daily contact with my personal therapist and upon entering the facility I quit recieving therapy. Only a quick phone call with a doctor they claimed counted as a therapy session. My mother requested I come home because I was just being sat in a house with others suffering addiction... no treatment.... and quite literally manic. They charged her the full 7 days amount, sent letters claiming how I was certified crazy and now needed inpatient long term residential treatment, threatened to call cps on me for things I supposedly said while in their care... only after I left and disputed paying for 7 days. They made what was already a mess... even worse. I left needing 7 days of in-patient psychiatric treatment to get me back on the right medication. It burnt my mother and me badly... I will never view detox centers or rehabs the same and I really believe this owner is a horrible, horrible person for what she said and did to my family in their worst time. I've thankfully been sober for 2 years now- unfortunately this is an experience that has stuck in my mind and I felt the need to share with others in hopes they dont fall victim. You can detox at a hospital. This place will not fix your alcohol problem nor treat it. You're paying big bucks to be medically detoxed. You can get that for free if you reach out to the right resources. Why Cheere felt the need to charge my mom for 2 days I wasn't there when she couldn't offer me the treatment I needed is beyond me. She clearly has made enough money in her life that me seeking treatment else where and her only charging for the time I spent there, would not have broken her.

First of all, people do not believe what you read in the last review by Sophia Enfantino!!! As a prior patient I know for a fact she was kicked out for multiple reasons including the couple she mentioned… She was also the woman/girl arrested in Hollister for ABUSING HER DOG. She’s sick in the head. She doesn’t need drug/alcohol rehab, she needs to be admitted into a psychiatric hospital. Secondly, Bright Future is amazing! It helped myself and many more people I’ve met through the toughest times in our life. I’d recommend BFR to anyone!

The team over there rocks, they care so deeply and you can tell. The facility is homey, and comfortable, especially for someone that isnt feeling great. I had a few friends that went just to detox, and ended up staying the full 30 days because they were getting so much out of their stay.
