My wife, Nancy and I could not be happier with the people and program at ERS. There's no doubt in my mind that the welfare and success of each client is at the forefront of everything they do. Our 21 year old grandson entered the Watsonville center lost ,angry ,hurt with no direction relying on drugs and alcohol to ease his pain. ERS provided him with the tools and support he needed to lift himself out of this destructive path and give hope to a new beginning living in sobriety. He has grown so much over the past few months and takes with him so many life skills both new and rediscovered. I see confidence again and a self love that had been buried for a long time.
The program is progress based and not rushed giving him time to truly work on his issues that are unique to him and his sobriety. The staff there truly care and are able to understand and mentor since many have been through the program themselves...they get it.
The communication with the Family Support staff was very, very good. Caitlin was so helpful and informative and able to ease our anxieties along the way. We were kept informed regularly of his progress and his struggles and hear how we might best support him.
As our grandson had pending legal problems as many newly in recovery do and ERS was even able to support this aspect of recovery by providing transportation to his court ordered appearances, helping him with his goal to be a responsible adult....many thanks to Arthur for all his support in this area. We are so very grateful and highly recommend Elevate Recovery Services !

Thank you for giving my loved one a second chance at being the best man he can be for his family. Your facility and staff surpassed all of our expectations. Every time I would call I was greeted by a friendly voice on the other end of the line with a very detailed report of how he was doing. You can rest assured your loved one will be taken care of and you will have peace of mind that they are getting the best care possible. He was given the tools to help him be successful when returning home.

Before putting myself into a 30-Day Intensive Inpatient Program at Bright Future Recovery (BFR), I was a lost, hopeless soul addicted to alcohol. After 32 years of heavy, heavy drinking, I had finally hit my rock bottom, and I felt that I was quickly on my way to drinking myself to death. Upon arriving at BFR, I was greeted with open, caring and loving arms, and my path towards recovery from alcohol addiction began. BFR Staff--Darlene, Amanda, Larissa, Danae, "Mama D," Grammy, Papa, Chef Carlo, Mariah, Rachel, and I am sure I am forgetting a few names at the moment--all of them treated me like Family, and I came to look at them as Family. Each and every staff member played a critical role in my recovery program--a 10-day detox followed by a 20-day residential stay. The treatment center at 1000 Fairview Road in Hollister, CA, is a beautiful ranch style home in the middle of beautiful, rural Hollister. With fresh, clean air, rolling hills, mountain views, your path to recovery begins in a beautiful house with large rooms, plenty of natural sunlight coming through windows galore. The bedrooms, and living spaces are very roomy and comfortable, filled with comfy beds and furniture.I cannot say enough positive things about my time at BFR. 53 days sober now, thanks solely to the tools and resources I learned about at BFR, and now an active member of Alcoholics Anonymous, I was once so lost, living in the deepest throws of alcoholism, once not wanting to wake up anymore, BFR helped me find my way. Thanks to Bright Future Recovery, I was lost, but now I am found.

| San Jose Behavioral Health Hospital is a comprehensive medical center for adults and adolescents in San Jose, California. Here, you can find psychiatric care to support a range of conditions, including substance use disorder. They offer a wide variety of treatment options including inpatient, intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization program | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I read a lot of these reviews and it's from the patients. I'm the father of a patient, and maybe I got lucky, but my son had a great case manager (Rosa), which is why I'm giving it 5 stars. It took 23 days but on this journey I was kept well-informed, I was able to communicate to her via text and email - and she listened to my observations on my son (I would email her after every visit I had with him and describe how the visit went). My son's journey is far from over, but Rosa and the team there got him through this part and transferred to a residential treatment facility. This is known as a stepdown. Simply put SJBH did their job.

I can’t speak for inpatient, but outpatient truly saved my life.
I admitted into the SJBH Outpatient (PHP/IOP) program in September of 2024. The typical length of stay for this program is around 8 weeks, but unlike other programs I’ve been in, they’re not in a rush to get you out, they want you to get help and get back on your feet. The staff in the Outpatient Department truly cares about their patients’ well being. There are several psycho education groups throughout the day to teach coping skills and when and how to apply them to day to day events, you see a psychiatrist either once a week (PHP) or every other week (IOP), and have availability to meet with a therapist in case of a crisis.
I came into this program after being inpatient at another hospital and was referred to SJBH. I truly don’t think that I would be where I am today without the help of the outpatient team. Thank you Navi, Nashin, Krystal, My An, Calvin, Lexy, Shanon and Christina, and Dr Serna for helping me get my life back in my control. I will five ever be grateful for you all!

I had been losing my battle with recovery for almost fifteen years when Wellness Retreat was recommended to me. I came here severely addicted and further traumatized by what I put myself and my family through. I needed a place where I would be treated with dignity, individually recognized for what has been ailing me and personally encouraged. This what I found here, and with a genuine compassion I have never seen or felt as an addict. There is an exceptional quality here, from checkng-in through medical treatment, group processing, education, abundance of nutrition, therapy excercise, wellness and technical assistance. With a maximum of five other clients to go through the recovery process with, the Directors of the program and even the CEO rolled up their sleeves personally caring for my recovery process. For the first time in my life since I was introduced to substances I don't hate life without them. It has been almost five months since I left wellness Retreat and I still go back on Monday afternoons to join the dance classes that gave me so much hope and happiness when I was feeling so low and dark in the beginning. This is more than a Rehab, this is a Wellness Center. If you want a life worth living without drugs and alcohol, start here.

Using the VA hospital system in any city, state is not the same. I had to move around to couch surf and homeless for over ten years ending up in states between California and Florida including Washington and Utah. I have had to restart everything over every time I moved and I learned a few things over those 10 years about doctor appointments and different appointments for eyes and blood work so let me begin by saying that if you show up at 10 am and it's not busy or 1 pm and it's a mad house, either way just tell them that you are using the VA transportation and you are on a scheduled pickup and they usually move you through pretty quickly.I can't say it's foolproof but it's a little bit of an edge for those complaining about long waiting for blood work. Just remember, don't set the bar too high of expectation, you get what you pay for, and if you don't like the VA then just pay for private health care.Oh, they get complaints but nothing like the VA hospital system.
