Janus Rehab Center has been a life-changing place for my close friend, and I can’t say enough good things about the incredible care they received.
My friend often talked about how much they appreciated the positive atmosphere and how the staff and other participants helped them feel part of a community. It was heartwarming to see them regain their confidence and discover their strength.
Thanks to Janus, my friend is happier, healthier, and more hopeful than I’ve seen them in years. I’m beyond grateful for everything Janus has done for them. I don’t often write reviews, but I can see how much this program helped them become the person they want to be in this life.

Santa Cruz, California | Detox services support individuals to safely and comfortably detox from drugs and alcohol, after which they’ll be referred to an inpatient rehab or outpatient treatment program. Medication-assisted treatment (MAT) is appropriate for the treatment of opioid use disorder and includes counseling and medication management in an outpatient setting. T | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I've read a few reviews that had some incorrect information for people reading. I have been there for 1 year. Someone said they lower your does if you miss a day and kicked out after 3 no-shows. If you miss 3 your dose gets lowered not for 1 day and you are nowhere near kicked out for 3. I would have been booted way back. Also someone said you can't start same day. May be true but you can in 2. As far as making it there by 12:30. I don't make it every day but you can if you want to . It's not that hard. I've been to clinics like that though and it's tough. Dirty uas do not lower your dose either. Not even. I gave it 5 stars for the people working there

I've been going there as a patient and even worked there off and on since it was named "Triad" back in the late 90s and it's a great clinic for MMT/MAT. At times it's definitely been less than perfect, particularly in the past (2003 to 2005). But since Janus has taken over they're far more consistent and reliable now.
Counselors can be a mixed bag, but that's true anywhere and the vast majority of the time they're great. It's a good program, you just have to be willing to work it. Do that and you have a very high chance that you'll succeed.

Elevate helped save my son's life! One year ago, I was on a desperate search for a place that would help my son quit drinking. I went online and was so overwhelmed with all the choices! I called a couple places and was not impressed with what they offered.
I prayed to God He would lead me to the right place, and He did! The 3rd place I called, this nice guy named Josh answered, and right away, we connected. I asked questions, he asked questions. What I loved about what he said, was that they did not rely on prescribing a bunch of meds to "fix" my son, but offered an in depth program that included exercise as part of the journey to recovery, and to ultimately learn to not rely on anything to self medicate ever again.
Ding! I knew he would love something like this, and the more Josh talked, the more I wanted to get my son on a plane! Of course, the final decision was up to him, and at that point, he was ready for a major change, and trusted my judgement. Thank God!
Within days, my son was up north and that was the beginning of his new life because today marks his ONE YEAR from not having a drop of alcohol! In fact, he liked Elevate so much, he stayed up there, trained heavily for 3 months, and is now an employee who helps counsel new clients. He earned Employee of the Month last month and I couldn't be more proud of the hard work he did and does for himself.
I can't thank Elevate enough for the part they played in his recovery. It was divine intervention and I'm so grateful he chose himself and continues to live out his purpose. Thank you to the team at Elevate!

Summit Estates has been a lifesaver for my family. I would describe the staff, counseling services, patient commitment and facility with every superlative term in the dictionary. Our family member received inpatient treatment, PHP and IOP through Summit over the course of a year, and we owe Summit a huge debt of gratitude. The staff members are outstanding: Roshin, Judy, Jon, Annee, to name a few. Using the VA hospital system in any city, state is not the same. I had to move around to couch surf and homeless for over ten years ending up in states between California and Florida including Washington and Utah. I have had to restart everything over every time I moved and I learned a few things over those 10 years about doctor appointments and different appointments for eyes and blood work so let me begin by saying that if you show up at 10 am and it's not busy or 1 pm and it's a mad house, either way just tell them that you are using the VA transportation and you are on a scheduled pickup and they usually move you through pretty quickly.
I can't say it's foolproof but it's a little bit of an edge for those complaining about long waiting for blood work. Just remember, don't set the bar too high of expectation, you get what you pay for, and if you don't like the VA then just pay for private health care.
Oh, they get complaints but nothing like the VA hospital system.

San Jose, California | Silicon Valley Recovery is a private addiction treatment center for adults in San Jose, California. They provide medical detox, residential treatment, and aftercare support. They also offer gender-separate programs and specialized programs for members of the LGBTQ+ community, and people with co-occurring addiction and mental illness. Silicon Valley | Programs Payment Options | My time at Silicon Valley Recovery (SVR) was nothing short of life changing. I know that sounds like an exaggeration, but I truly learned so much about myself and my substance abuse.
The entire team there are passionate and genuine in the care they provide to the incoming clients, I was easily able to settle in and focus on what I needed to work on. The facility feels like a comfortable home, the food is great, and I'll miss the Bevi machines. The staff make sure to work on your case (e.g., FMLA), and truly allow you to rest as you recover. The Incidental Medicine Services (IMS) staff are also extremely thoughtful and go above and beyond. Besides this, you meet a diverse group of clients (a.k.a. other people in recovery), that help you learn and grow and broaden your sober community. The therapies provided allow you an outlet for your thoughts and feelings as well as provide tools to use to better your approach to sobriety. The sampling of meetings (off site) you attend help you to see what flavors of meetings exist in the community (AA, NA,CMA, CODA). SVR also does an fantastic job with keeping in touch with alumni and coordinate in-person and virtual alumni/client meetings.
I would highly, highly, HIGHLY recommend SVR to anyone looking to work on their substance abuse recovery. SVR will always have a special place in my heart.

Once I detoxed and mental clarity returned, I started to listen and engage with the program they have put together and I feel like a genuinely better person for it. Most of the staff are also in recovery themselves and that made a huge difference for me; they understand on a personal level and are beyond supportive.
By participating in the program and truly being honest with myself, I’ve reoriented my mind in how I view my relationship with
alcohol which is something I never thought would happen. I had totally given up on myself and was resigned to my addiction. SVR gives you the tools and support to change the way you think about your DOC and most importantly yourself. I feel optimistic and hopeful about my life for the first time in many years after my time there.
As far as services, I didn’t find anything lacking. All the rooms and facilities were very clean and well kept. They have an attentive 24/7 medical staff onsite, a personal chef that prepares 3 (delicious) meals a day throughout the week, gym with a pool/sauna 3 times a week, equine therapy, and weekend outings doing fun things like Top Golf, hikes, the beach, etc. They even have someone come in to give everyone haircuts every couple of weeks. You also get your cellphone during the day after 10 days, and have landlines for you to use freely whenever you want between 8am and 1030pm to stay in touch.
If you are reading this and are considering checking in yourself or a loved one, I highly, highly encourage you to do so if you have the ability to. It may be one of the hardest decisions you make in life but it will also be one of the best. Hope still exists. I thought it didn’t for me but my time here completely changed my perspective on things. Make the phone call! You will thank yourself for it.

Amazing and attentive staff, they genuinely care here and want to set you up for success. They pay attention to everyone’s individual needs while encouraging self advocacy. Great curriculum with a mix of fun and educational groups. They allowed me to crochet during group and use my ipad for art because they know the importance of being able to use hobbies as a form of recovery. Even after leaving they still check in, show support, and help in any way they can. I’ve been to multiple treatment centers and finding a place as generous and attentive as svr is rare. It’s a very small and intimate community that supports each other and I would recommend it to anyone who is on the fence about treatment, they do not force anything on you but will help guiding you in making the decisions that suit you best.

I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to the nurses who cared for me during my hospital stay. In particular, I want to thank Hitome, Shari, and Dave from the labor and delivery unit—Hitome was incredibly attentive and thoughtful, Shari was warm-hearted and kind, and Dave, who kindly stepped in to help, gave me great support during the pushing stage. I am also very grateful to Arlene from the Mother-Baby Unit night shift, whose organized, thorough, and compassionate care made a big difference. In addition, I truly appreciate Suzane, the lactation consultant, for her professional guidance and practical advice on breastfeeding.
The excellent service from these nurses is the main reason why El Camino Hospital left me with such a positive impression. That said, I personally felt that, overall, the service level in the Mother-Baby Unit did not match the outstanding care I experienced in the labor and delivery unit—nurses like Arlene, who work efficiently and treat patients with such kindness, are unfortunately too few.

I gave birth to my second baby here and had a really good experience at the hospital. From the nurse who took me to L&D through the emergency entrance to the nurse who helped us with discharge, they were all amazing and highly competent. We were very well taken care of throughout our stay. The lactation services at the hospital are also really good. We got some fantastic support from lactation consultant & NP Cherie. The pediatrician who came to see us, Dr Sandra Lee, was very thorough and eased any concerns or questions we had. One thing to note is that the postpartum room is small. If you have visitors in your room, it may feel cramped. The beds in the postpartum room could also be more comfortable , for both the mother and partner. Overall we were happy with the care at this hospital for Labor and Delivery and I highly recommend this hospital for birth.

I was a patient 4x at this hospital due to instability with medicine, homelessness and illness. It was very rough for me to get adjusted due to my inability to smoke for 4-6 months. However when I did I was pleased. I was taught what close care of hygiene looks like, structured days and balanced meals, and learned what better relationships look like can be formed through advocating, asserting, and assimilating.
I needed this time to remain healthy, it could have easily been the reason I am still here. From this hospital I was granted to go to independent living, and with the skills I learned and the reasonable rent, I am a more reliable person for my family.
The staff was very sensitive to my insecurities and they sincerely invested whatever time they could to be available to speak with them. I would like to be staff as well, helping people build confidence and approach. I want to work in the mental health profession at crestwood now because after meeting many cordial guides like Tom from (phf) and fay (mhrc) both paved the way for my good faith and understanding in a more worldly way. Dr Munir was a wonderful suite for his job and very talented. Thank you again for my brighter future that I have today. Love, cody LA ROSA
