Been coming here for a long, long time Through my recovery I have had many counselors some better than others funny how things happen my husband transferred to Medmark from BAART in Oakland crazy we both ended up on Rich s case load { R.I.P. RICH another great counselor } so you know we both can t have the same counselors so of course I got kicked to the curb. Best curb I got kicked to { so to speak. } which is currently Nicole Martinez, the best I ve ever had , She definitely help me get to where I am now she goes above and beyond helped me in my life so much, I don t even know what I m gonna do when we goes our separate ways ..I wish I can take her with me. I wish I can give her 20 s but was only given an option of 5 .

Dr. Smeester continues to be the most caring and compassionate doctor I've ever known. He is a great listener and I always look forward to our appointments. Even after a year he's still the best and I highly recommend.

Solid Healthcare for Veterans

My adult son had been in two prior outpatient rehabs. When insurance covered his treatment at Cliffside, I was initially skeptical of such a luxury experience with weekly massages, sound baths, acupuncture, cleaning and laundry service, fresh, organic cooked meals, outings, yoga, trips to the gym and spectacular views. It seemed more like a vacation I thought. But, it turned out to be just what my son needed. With these experiences and the small ratio of clients:providers, he was able to finally open up and start addressing the pain he had been numbing with substances. Tanya, his case manager, helped him with his needs and setting him up with outpatient care. Roxan, his therapist, was a tremendous help to him. Family sessions are available and the nurses and tech staff also offered great support. Patients have to option to be taken to AA, Smart Start, and NA meetings as well. My son didn't want to leave! My only suggestion would be to have online family meetings available in the evenings/after work hours. I am very grateful for the care my son received.

Words cannot begin to express my gratitude to Cliffside Malibu for Saving and Changing my life forever. They have/had so much more to offer than other places and programs that I have gone to. This time it has really stuck for me. My life is free and reset. The houses make you feel like your at home. The staff is great! Most are in active recovery themselves and some were actually prior clients themselves. That stood out alot to me and gave me comfort and hope. That feeling that someone who I didn't know, really cared about me. Everything was clean, worry free and the good was excellent. I like this place fast and very convenient to where I live. Nice people they take good care my 3 children. I'm glad I found this place Dentist's are nice ,friendly they know how to handle kids ,staff friendly and they also make sure my kids are feel comfortable! Lovely people...

This place is amazing. I went for behavioral health and every part of the experience, from the front desk offering coffee, to the intake coordinator, to the therapist that helped me during one of the lowest times of my life, was beyond anything I would have ever expected from a non-profit for low income folks. I am so grateful for the care I received here.

Or have finnally become the person I was born to be.Key thing in recovery is if you really want it you'll do what's asked , you'll participate and you'll always remember "just because you graduate doesn't mean your FULLY recovered. Ladies, if you're looking for a safe place, with knowledgable staff, program environment than this is the place you want to help change your life. I'm a graduate of Good Shepard Grace Center and I just celebrated been clean for twenty years.

One of the best places I have stayed. The amount of care and support everyone shows you here is amazing. If you need help give them a call. If you are a woc this is a safe space.

The Kaiser Rehabilitation Center in Oakland is a complete program designed to stop any addiction, such as stress depression, arcohol, marijuana, cocaine, apioids, nalgetics, alusigenes or any substance, with very professional staff.

Best medical facility competent and kind that I have been in an I practiced medicine for more than 30 years in the East, middle and west of the USA but as for patient care I ve never seen better!

CDRP is a wonderful program full of counselors that really care about your health. But it won't work if you don't care. They have a nice new facility now, I've gone back to visit and it's really nice, clean, welcoming environment. I have long lasting friends I was able to make through their classes and 5 years sober.

My therapist literally saved my life. I wasn t suicidal but would have become one if I hadn t been seen at CHAC. His therapy really helped me see the light and I am thriving now. The best thing is how affordable my sessions were. I am forever grateful!

I been coming here for years. I just want to say that this place is so much better than it was before, in the past it wasn't could've come here with all the temptation and dealers out front. It seems that since they got a new Director & she wasn't having it, she made them straighten up and they got a new Fiscal girl who helps with everything. Really stepped their game up. Margarita helped me renew my Medi-Cal, and was very welcoming. She always has water and other drinks and snacks & candy for the patients. she connected me with a local food bank, as well as resources on impatient programs and even help med me find a part-time job. The counselor Pam is hella down to earth, always listens and doesn't judge. I think of her like one of my cool aunties. At this clinic they treat you like a person not just a junkie off the street. Most of the patients we all know each other so we're kind of like family and coming her to interact with other like-minded people who are focused on sobriety.
