From the friendliness of the staff to the atmosphere of the clients has been nothing short of amazing. They make you want to be better. If you want a facility that truly cares. The Doctor is absolutely amazing she’s so smart and compassionate. Ceola is my counselor and she is so smart and so capable, She’s one of the best problem solver I’ve ever met. She’s super responsible and has helped me in my journey tremendously. I can honestly say that I have never had a counselor that has been so educated and knowledgeable! Having her as my counselor and having this particular Doctor has helped me get my life back and my children back. RICH another great counselor } so you know we both can’t have the same counselors so of course I got kicked to the curb. Despite this place being a small health clinic, the medical staff does step up with their professionalism. Supposedly, this place is meant for those who are looking to solve their addict problem. At the same time though, people can see a physician here for a physical check up. A lot of the negative reviews here seem to come from people who expect results without consistency, honesty, or responsibility. Recovery is not easy, and no clinic can do the work for you if you are still trying to manipulate the system instead of change your life. From my experience, the staff here have always been respectful, supportive, encouraging, and available whenever possible. At the same time, people need to understand that counselors, nurses, and staff members are dealing with many patients every single day — including individuals who repeatedly miss appointments, ignore expectations, or waste the time and energy of people who are genuinely trying to help them. Staff members are human too, and I think many of the complaints fail to recognize the amount of patience required to work in this environment day after day. What stands out the most to me is that this clinic encourages actual recovery and accountability instead of simply handing out medication and sending people on their way. If you consistently show up, communicate honestly, and take your sobriety seriously, the support is absolutely there. I also want to specifically recognize the director, Kim, because she is honestly one of the most compassionate, respectful, genuine human beings I have ever met. The amount of patience, understanding, and support she gives to people — even during difficult situations — deserves recognition. She has played a huge role in my recovery journey and continues to support people however she can, even when she does not have to. Running a program like this cannot be easy, especially while dealing with so many different personalities and situations, but she continues to show professionalism, empathy, and strength every day. At the end of the day, recovery only works when the individual decides they are truly ready. No program is perfect, but in my experience, the people working here genuinely care about those who are serious about changing their lives. The facility also has a phone and laptop policy, but if you have a legitimate need to use your devices, the staff is willing to work with you to find a reasonable solution. Visitation is held on Sundays, but loved ones can bring approved items for patients any day of the week, which is a thoughtful way to stay connected and supported during treatment. Jessica B 2 months ago I was there a little more than 4 years ago. I was withdrawing from a super heavy Xanax addiction. The withdrawal was the scariest thing that I've ever been through but they used medically assisted treatment to taper me off. I went through hell and back but they almost got me through it. Luckily they knew how to treat me. They sent me to the mental health department when things got really bad and then I came back for the rest of my treatment. The groups and counselors are great and very informative and educational. The nurses on the other hand were horrible and didnt understand what was happening with me during withdrawal. I told them I was hallucinating and scared and didn't know where I was in the middle of the night but they just told me to go back to my room. I begged for help and was scared to death but they wouldn't help me. They ended up transporting me to mental health when I was blacked out and out of control. Doctor Kayman is extremely knowledgeable about the brain and the counseling staff is amazing as well, always offering a listening ear and great advice to help any problems that may arise while in treatment. Additionally, the treatment facility environment is supportive of "peer-to-peer" feed back & coping skills, "focus" and "affirmation tools".., all (to which I found) have great value in early recovery...! What I enjoyed most about New Bridge is the dignified and professional way each staff member treated me, and treated me as valued (from the newest staff member, to the kitchen staff, to nurse staff, maintenance staff, the on-site doctors, to group staff, the clinical coordinator staff, the assistant director, up to the director). These staff members, all, display a "real human" level of authenticity and care...! I'm truly happy that I chose New Bridge..!!!
