About New Start Recovery Solutions

Each program involves a complete evaluation or assessment and an individualized treatment plan. Medical detox takes place in their highly structured residential facility and involves assessment, stabilization and 24/7 monitoring by licensed physicians. FDA approved medicine may be administered to ease withdrawal symptoms. This ensures a safe and comfortable detox. You can then transition to their inpatient treatment to continue your recovery journey. Most clients will stop at detox. Others may just go for inpatient care without detox. It all depends on the severity of your condition and how long you’ve been dealing with substance use disorder.

Each individual is unique. Their inpatient program is the highest level of care after medical detox. It involves intensive therapeutic intervention with round the clock monitoring by physicians. This program is designed to ensure you receive the therapy and support needed for lasting recovery.

This is made possible by their highly skilled multidisciplinary team of care professionals. They include experts in individualized and ‘whole person’ recovery treatment using proven therapeutic methods. You’ll participate in various group counseling sessions and receive individual therapy as well as personalized medication protocols if necessary.

Their ‘whole person’ practice includes mindfulness relapse prevention, yoga and meditation. 24 hour transportation is available for in person therapy. Aftercare services may involve referral to their outpatient and intensive outpatient facility for continued therapy or connection to community recovery resources for ongoing support through their alumni program.

I unfortunately wish I could give this negative stars as well, got my husband into this place and it only lasted three days… Terrible therapy, 2 to 3 groups a day, which are extremely unhelpful and filled with 30+ people, you were only able to meet with your therapist once a week which not helpful, you only get 30 minutes a day with your phone after your 7 day probation period to take care of bill, talked to loved ones, etc… They fought him every step of the way, trying to figure out his exit plan through an intensive outpatient program which they disagreed with immensely. They tried to keep him by lying and holding his phone, the staff/therapists didn’t get back to me after I requested phone calls multiple times… Director of program Lamar, was condescending, rude, unhelpful, disrespectful, and acted like he really did not give a crap about the care of my husband. The rest of the staff was also rude and not accommodating, felt like they just wanted to keep people there for the numbers and for the money and didn’t care if people actually relapsed or stayed straight. So unfortunate that a rehabilitation center can be so destructive to somebody’s mental health . The nurses also had shift changes during medication handout times, so people were behind on getting their medication and while my husband was there, one of the girls was sent to the emergency room because the nursing staff gave them the wrong medication this place is all in shambles and it needs to be alerted to anyone going to this program please look elsewhere .

I can't believe the whining in some of the posts Back in the 80s the choice was cold turkey detox and shut up and listen. We have evolved but, the addicts are spoiled brats.

I’d give zero stars if I could. This place lied to me from the beginning when I was trying to help my husband find a program and an all male program that he requested. They assured us it was an all male facility and it most definitely was not. Long story short, the stay ended within a week because my husband had an affair with another female resident whom was also married. The staff urged my husband to get a divorce and even offered to assist with the paperwork. They’ll call you to check in and let you know how your loved one is doing but that’s all lies as well. They were fully aware of what was going on between two of their residents, hid it and supported it. I hope whoever was employed there in 2021 no longer has a job. They support tearing families apart vs. bringing them together and are not focused on helping the individual in a healthy and positive way.

Other Forms of Payment

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Sliding scale payments are based on a client's income and family size. The goal is to make treatment affordable to everyone. By taking these factors into account, addiction recovery care providers help ensure that your treatment does not become a financial burden to you or your family, eliminating one barrier to care.

Military members, veterans, and eligible dependents have access to specific insurance programs that help them get the care they need. TRICARE and VA insurance can help you access low cost or no cost addiction and mental health treatment. Programs that accept military insurance often have targeted treatment focused on the unique challenges military members, veterans, and their families face.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.

Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). Some offer both, and tailor treatment to the patient's individual requirements.

Intensive outpatient programs (IOP) support a client's sustained sobriety as they exit detox or step down from an inpatient program. IOPs are also designed for clients who are at an elevated risk of relapse. Intensive outpatient treatment typically requires clients to engage in a minimum of nine hours of therapy per week, but clients may receive up to 20 therapeutic hours weekly. IOP treatment modalities often combine psychotherapy, recovery-focused life skills training, and medication assisted treatment (MAT).

Rehab aftercare programs offer clients in addiction recovery a robust continuum of care after clients have completed active treatment. These services address recovery as a life-long process and are designed to evolve with clients' changing needs. Clients may partner with their case managers and/or addiction recovery team to identify the rehab aftercare services that are right for them. They may receive career counseling, housing assistance, peer coaching, 12 step program induction, among many other services.

Commonly known as "day treatment," a partial hospitalization program (PHP) is an intensive form of outpatient treatment where clients meet during the day and return home in the evening. PHP treatment doesn't require 24-hour care and often serves as an alternative to inpatient hospitalization or a step-down after a residential program. With PHP treatment, you can receive daily support for 6 to 8 hours which includes evidence-based therapies and medication management. The cost of PHP treatment typically varies but averages 90 days.

During the first phase of recovery – detox – it is crucial to have 24-hour clinical care in California. This care provides constant monitoring in order to ensure your safely and comfort as you progress through the withdrawal process for drug or alcohol addiction. Licensed professionals prescribe medications to treat withdrawal symptoms and provide frequent monitoring to ensure your safely as addictive toxins leave your system.

When addicted, quitting your drug of choice suddenly can be dangerous. That's why experts agree a medically assisted detox is the safest way to remove addictive substances from the body. Usually done in an inpatient setting, your vitals signs and overall well being are consistently monitored and rechecked in order to keep you safe and ensure the detox is successful.

Treatments

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

Programs

Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.

Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Serving in the military is both mentally and physically challenging, and can result in trauma that persists even after combat ends. Military programs are tailored to the specific and often complex needs of active duty personnel, veterans, and military families. Clients often access these programs through the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).

Clinical Services

While participating in dialectical behavior therapy in California, you'll focus on four key areas of skill development: mindfulness, interpersonal effectiveness, emotion regulation, and distress tolerance. Treatment includes weekly individual and group sessions.

During group therapy, men and women learn to express their emotions openly in a non judgmental setting. This helps you process your feelings and reduces feelings of social isolation that are often associated with addiction.

Individual therapy for drug addiction includes a customized treatment plan that considers your history and life circumstances. During your therapy sessions, the therapist helps you uncover underlying issues and triggers for addictive behavior that support a holistic approach to recovery.

For clients who are struggling with ambivalence toward change, motivational interviewing in California can help strengthen their commitment to change. Using a conversational method, the therapist helps you explore your motivations and empowers you to make the changes you desire.

Trauma therapy is a structured approach used by therapists to help you heal from a past traumatic event. Your therapist works with you to identify the traumatic memory and process the information so you experience emotional healing and a sense of safety and stability.

Family therapy offers a platform for members to have an open dialogue about the challenges that addiction has placed on the family unit. Through guided sessions, therapists can help families develop healthy communication skills and address unresolved issues. By working together toward a common goal, they help to support their loved one's sobriety.

Did 30 day inpatient here because my mom thought i drank to much Chardonnay. ( with her) Either way, its a joke. Elderly addicts just staying until they die, drug addicts just going everyday to the clinic for drugs. Food was horrible. Therapist were unhelpful. Group was just a waste. But whatever, i got good sleep.
