I've been going to the program since June 2023. I started out in Concord, was only there for 4 to 6 months before they shut it down. From there I went to Antioch. I have had two counselors, Travis and Danelle, the both of them are Awesome! Very caring, understanding, helpful, and kind! The nurses are great, and the persons at the front desk are Great too. All in All I'd rate them from 1 to 10; I'd give them a 10 meaning Very Satisfied! Thanks for all of your HELP Everyone!! You're the Best!! 😇🥰👍 Terri Rife

I've been going to the BAART clinic in Antioch, CA for nearly 8 hrs and absolutely love the program. So much so I got my BFF to get treatment there and she also lives it and is so glad she took the initiative to go there and like me has found relief from the bandage of addiction. I've had a few counselors and love them all. It is like a big family there from the counselors to the dispensing nurses and all the patients. All the patients know each other and support each other. You feel very safe & supported in their relaxed, chill & friendly environment. I would recommend it to anyone experiencing the bondage of addiction. Bcz now instead of the stress of finding opiates and fear of not having them and facing withdrawal now i just take my dose in the morning and don't even think about opiates the rest of the day. Opiate addiction can be an all consuming full time job in which your entire life revolves around getting enough opiates fearing running out and the absolute misery of withdrawal. when you can't get them. But going to BAART has gotten me off that hammster wheel so I can enjoy my life without having to even think about opiates anymore. If you in bondage to opiate addiction do yourself a favor and FREE yourself by going to BAART and start truly livingb& enjoying your life.

This place has a bad reputation, I understand. However, I’ve seen it help several people that actually wanted the help and used the program properly. There is several key words in this comment that are necessary and down right vital in order for the clinic to work the way it was intended. It can help people lead a sober life and there are people that work there that care for the welfare and wellbeing of the patients that go there.

I was wary to come here at first after my sister’s own experience and other things I have heard. But the person they paired me up with has been an essential bedrock of support through all that I have been going through for the past two years. The only issue I have had is length between appointments, and if I have to reschedule I end up having to wait at minimum another 3-4 weeks. I am thankful I can wait that long, but I know that it could be a problem for those who might benefit from more frequent help. All in all, I am glad that Kaiser provides these services and hope that everyone else can also find their perfect helper here!

My personal experience at new start in concord is was phenomenal. I spent 31 days in the residential program including detox and all around had such a great experience that it was difficult to leave. To start, the medical staff while I was in detox took care of all of my needs. The med techs, nurse practitioners and doctors made sure that I had a comfortable experience while going through the scary process of withdrawing. Not once did I run out of medication and they always made me feel like they cared for my wellbeing and safety. While in residential, the counselors, group facilitators, therapists, and case managers were amazing! Each and every one of them. They had so much knowledge, experience and education, and I learned so much. My personal therapist, Mellisa was absolutely wonderful, and she helped me dig deep and figure out the root causes of my issues that were tied to my past traumas. The family sessions were also extremely helpful. Moving onto the assistant Director and head Director, who both truly cared about the program, the clients, and their staff. It was evident in how the program ran like a perfect machine. They also took us on fun outings, like bowling and going to the beach. The facility was comfortable, clean and well organized. We have full-time staff that keep each bedroom and area of the buildings clean and provided the clients with all of our basic needs. I want to give a shout out to Ofi who was like everyone’s mom. We had some awesome amenities too like a gym, A game room, and an outside movie theater with a fire pit. I will truly miss my time at New Start in Concord, and will forever be grateful for this experience. Thank you :)

MedMark Treatment Centers -- Fairfield is a private opioid use disorder (OUD) treatment facility in Fairfield, California, east of Alan Witt Park. They strive to pr
I entered the doors of MedMark on a Monday morning @ 5:00 am with the expectation of walking out feeling a whole lot better than when I walked in. As told by the young lady on the phone the day before, I needed to come in sick, which of course I did, to a degree. I was interviewed, had a physical and sat. At about 10:30am, I was given my first dose of 20mgs. After about 20 mins, I began feeling a bit better. Then, I was given another 10mgs and went home. For the first time in months, I actually slept. It has been near 6 years since that first day and I can honestly say that I have not used, gone through withdrawals and been able to put and keep my life on a straight and forward path thanks to the counselors, the nurses and the newer management team consisting of Kim and Linda. Not to speak ill of the previous management, so I'll simply say that the change has been a Godsend. Kim, Director of MedMark Fairfield is a very sweet, compassionate and open-minded leader who has opened herself up to speaking to the clients with a bright smile and a big heart. These qualities make her approachable but don't let that fool you, she is as tough as she is welcoming. Sadly, Linda the Lead Manager at MedMark Fairfield is not one that I have spent much time with, however she did see me at a time when my councilor was out sick. The hour we spent together was made very comfortable by her, and I had actually entertained the idea of asking her to be my councilor. We talked as though we had known one another for a lifetime. Those that have her as a councilor are very blessed. I can truly say that I hit the lottery when I was given Sara as my councilor. Early on, I found that she and I share quite a bit in our stories, which right away put me at ease. Sara is bright, knowledgeable and compassionate and right away put me at ease. Given that I have earned my way to monthly meetings, I really look forward to seeing her each time. I have had a few different councilors over time, but Sara has really given me the reasons to trust her. So important as that is, I am lucky to have that with her. One of the huge benefits I found at MedMark was that the councilors I had seen had all gone through very similar situations as I had. It truly makes for a foundation to build on when there is that common denominator. It is easy to sit with your client and simply listen to them for an hour, but to really connect with them, making them feel as though they really matter and to build that trust and rapport. Now, I have heard people complain about this or that at MedMark, unfortunately, in an environment such as this it is to be expected. My response, typically sharp tongued is this; Hmmm, I don't recall getting an invitation to come join them so frankly we really can't complain. Speaking from experience, MedMark is #1 on my top 5 Methadone Clinics. lol

I’ve been going to MedMark for a while now and I’m incredibly grateful for the support they’ve provided. The staff is friendly, caring, and knowledgeable, always offering personalized treatment and guidance. The clinic is clean and well-organized, making the experience as stress-free as possible. They offer a range of services that go beyond just methadone maintenance as well. I highly recommend MedMark for anyone seeking help with opioid addiction - it’s the only thing that actually stuck for me. Ps it’s pretty easy to succeed here. Be respectful, give clean UA’s and attend your sessions - then you get take homes. Any complaints probably stem from one of those not being followed… :)

I go for an Echocardiogram and a CT scan every three months and go for lab work and chemotherapy every three weeks. It's an excellent hospital equipped with exceptionally well trained doctors and RN's who are extremely committed and truly care for their patients' well-being. The hospital has a cafeteria, where either my daughter or my brother, who is my ride, waits for me during my undergoing chemotherapy. At times, after chemo, we stay at the hospital's cafeteria and have lunch. Sandwiches are made daily, and I usually get the egg sandwich and the yogurt with a bottle of water or lemonade. One can opt for a hot meal of the day. The hospital also has a wonderful gift shop, which is open from Monday through Thursday, where I sometimes stop by in case it's a day I need to wait for my ride and I browse or make a purchase 😀.

I came to Contra Costa Regional after a full-blown panic attack finally made me face the truth. I'd been hiding my cocaine use for years while running a startup in Seattle. Honestly, I didn’t know what to expect from this place, but it ended up being a turning point. They respected my need for privacy and were cool about me still needing to check in on work. The therapists actually listened and the CBT helped me deal with the anxiety I’d buried. It’s not fancy, and the tech setup could be better, but the care was real. I left focused and feeling like myself again.

I went to archway having lost everything. Cars homes kids family money. I lost everything. I came to archway recovery services October 11th 2024 having no idea who I was or what to do about my addiction to methamphetamine. They taught me about my triggers and how to identify them. They taught me patience. I was planning to go for 45 days and graduate and ended up staying a whole 90 and going to SLE (SOBER LIVING ENVIRONMENT) I found out where I was in my recovery when I never even knew there was a place i I could be which was I was in preparation and by the time I got out was in action. The Rech Techs (to many to name)are very nice and professional. The managers Ms. Donna and Ms. Letti are very nice and professional and amazing people. The executive director Kevin is also an amazing person. This program is like none I have ever been to. It has a panel to go through before you graduate and the reason for that is to be sure you are ready for the outside world before you enter it. Some people may not like it but I loved the way they ran it. It's a very special place and I would recommend it to anyone in this world who has ANY kind of addiction. I went through this program for a month, twice. The first time I was pretty unwell but it wasn’t too bad. The next time I went through, I had a great time and did much better because I myself was better. To be upfront, many people who went through were facing homelessness without the intervention of laurel creek. Many of the clients had been homeless in the past. This place needed a good grant of extra funding to make it a little better. There were a lot of plumbing issues and I tend to think the place needs a decent amount of work. Overall is was good. The counselors were professional and helpful. I’m hoping I don’t need to return for a 3rd trip but I found that if you just go with the program, it’s not too bad. It’s a crisis center so people are usually not at their best when being there.

For COVID Testing: Arrived at 8am on Dec. 29 in the drive-thru line, no appointment (appointments right now are only available about 5 days in advance). It took about 2.5 hours to get through and get tested. When Monica (nurse) arrived, she was very friendly and I even remarked that I had to do ANOTHER test that weekend due to an international flight. She helped me get an appointment (which you can only do if you talk to someone personally). I was pretty impressed, but the wait is really long (when I left there were cars out into the street and I imagine close to a 4h wait).

Kaiser is a good mental healthcare provider, and they do refer you as needed. Book your appointment and be your best: Therapy, group and individual and referral out to weekly for awhile so effective have not required any medications.
