I've been in methadone maintenance treatment since 1992 (7 years at BAART) and this is the ONLY treatment center/clinic I've ever been to that I feel truly cares about me. They care how I'm doing, how I feel and they help keep me positive about my health and sobriety. The current director (Al) is competent and responsible. The staff under him are exceptional as well as the medical staff under our doctor. The nurses are just awesome. I'm very happy with my counselor and I know that I've never said that before. This place makes you want to do well and all without threats. I honestly don't think I'd still be around right now if it weren't for BAART. Well... pretty good chance that I wouldn't be (especially with all of the fentanyl out there!). I am so very grateful for BAART Programs.

I had unfortunatly missed 4 dose days a couple months back and was in withdrawl. Unbeknownst to me, the clinic was closed that day. (Holiday.) The call cntr let me know aftr calling numerous times. Shortly after, I got a call from V P of BAART. He arranged for me to be seen at the nearest ER & resolved a finanvial issue. I went from withdrawl /panic to 100% calm / at peace. SO VERY GRATEFUL for BAART. 💜

Center for discovery really helped me with my ED. The other patients were some of the most amazing group of people I have ever met. This place helped me realize my worth and that I am more than my ED. Rooth is a queen, so is Daisy and Jo. The staff here are so supportive and kind. This was a great expirience.

I attended CFD in 2011 as an adolescent. I’m lucky I had the privilege to rehabilitate here. Of course while I was 16 and 17 years old I hated everything. My freedom was taken away and everything was very regimented. But in hindsight I see the purpose for it all. CFD was the only thing that worked for me long term in healing my eating disorder. This program is excellent and I highly recommend to parents with children struggling with an eating disorder that has taken over their life. I was lucky I had great staff members who really cared about my healing. Dr. A was my main doctor and she is a gifted provider. I’ll never forget her.

Premier Outpatient Mental Health and Substance Use Treatment for Teens and Adolescents.
From the first tour to the end of treatment, Guide was amazing! Suzette was super responsive and generous with her time - always answering all of my many questions. Our daughter couldn’t stop talking about how much she connected with Becky and Stephanie. They are so sweet and clearly great at what they do. We are so incredibly grateful for the whole Guide team and the impact on our family! Can’t recommend enough. Thank you Guide!!

I just got off the phone with Guide Behavioral Health, and I couldn’t be more impressed! From the moment they answered, I felt genuinely supported and understood. They took the time to listen to my concerns and thoroughly explained their after-school program options for teens. It was such a relief to hear about their flexible schedules and evidence-based approach to helping teens manage anxiety and emotional challenges. I’m so glad to have a place like this right in the neighborhood – it feels like exactly what we need. It’s comforting to know that caring, compassionate support is so convenient and accessible. I haven’t even signed up yet, but I already feel more hopeful and reassured just knowing that Guide Behavioral Health is there for us. Highly recommend giving them a call if you’re looking for real support for your teen!

Our experience with Guide Behavioral Health has been great. From the time we asked the admissions staff about the program/therapy they offer, we just know that this is the place we were looking for mental health. Danny with admissions is very professional and knowledgeable in presenting the treatment programs they offer. He was helpful in connecting me immediately with Suzette, Clinical Director about my inquiry. She then was able to answer my questions, very knowledgeable, experienced mental health clinician and empathetic. Their new facility is safe and has therapeutic environment. We are so thankful that we found this place to seek mental health needs for our family.

I went to New life recovery center when I was 19 and 20 and had a really really bad habit. I’m now 14 years sober and I truly have NLR To thank for that. They would go out of their way for me in ways that I’ve never seen a recovery center go out of their waiver addicts, and it made me believe in recovery again. Although this was not my last stop on the recovery train, it was my favorite stop, and I truly cherish everybody who was there. RIP Terri She gave me so much valuable knowledge that I could never forget. The staff always made me feel like family. I just wanted to drop my review since it’s been so very long since I visited this place but I am a success story! 3% Club. They’re sober living program was also And really put my butt into gear. All I have to say is I could not have gotten clean with NLR! This place is amazing all the staff are excellent make you feel good about being there. Walking in to the gates I had so many emotions but seeing everyone smile and say hello gave me some ease. If you are looking to sleep all day and think you’re on vacation this definitely ain’t the place for you. You’re busy all day. The classes you take a lot from them Mitch and Rob man they really pump knowledge that will have like shit was it really that bad that I needed to be out there doing x y z. The chief Shilpa ABSOLUTELY AMAZING L!!! Meals amazing 5 star and she is just the sweetest. Lupe chief Shiloh’s assistant absolutely amazing!!! All the clinical techs all so cool very friendly they too started their journey with new life so they know exactly what you’re going through cause they come from the same life styles. I recommend new life too everyone in the addiction. Today I have 90 days clean by the grace of god and new life.

I had a really positive experience at New Life Recovery Center. From day one, everyone made me feel welcome and not judged. It’s a calm, supportive place where you can actually focus on getting better and figuring things out. What makes this place different is the staff. Every person I met has been through addiction themselves, so they truly get it. You’re not talking to people reading from a book. You’re talking to people who have lived it and come out the other side. That shows in the way they listen, the way they talk to you, and the patience and compassion they bring every day. The groups were helpful and real. People share honestly and support each other. The counselors and techs are down to earth and always willing to talk if you’re having a rough day. You can tell they care and want you to succeed. If you’re looking for a place where people understand recovery on a personal level and treat you with respect and kindness, I’d recommend New Life Recovery Center. It’s a solid, supportive community for anyone trying to get their life back on track.

The Summit Estate Recovery Center is outstanding in every respect. The staff is top notch, highly qualified, professional, friendly and a pleasure to work with. Client needs, both medical and otherwise, are addressed promptly and appropriately. The facility and grounds are beautiful and comfortable. Both are maintained in excellent condition. All meals are prepared by professional chefs skilled in preparing healthy food that supports the special needs of the human body in recovery. The treatment is holistic and includes nutrition, education, group and private therapy, as well as yoga, meditation, and fitness training. After a 28 day stay in the Summit residential treatment facility, I feel confidant and motivated in my continued abstinence and sobriety. Summit Estates has been a lifesaver for my family. I would describe the staff, counseling services, patient commitment and facility with every superlative term in the dictionary. Our family member received inpatient treatment, PHP and IOP through Summit over the course of a year, and we owe Summit a huge debt of gratitude. The staff members are outstanding: Roshin, Judy, Jon, Annee, to name a few. Addiction is a terrible, lonely disease, and the bright spot has been availing ourselves of the support, tools and community offered by Summit. I would highly recommend Summit and wish that anyone suffering from addiction could be treated by the exceptional professionals at Summit.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about the care my son received at Good Samaritan Hospital. What started as an ER visit turned into a few-day hospital stay while we tried to figure out what was going on, and from the moment we arrived, we were treated with such incredible care, compassion, and kindness. A huge thank you to Dr. Cheng in the ER and Brooke, RN, who took such great care of us from the very beginning. Once we were transferred to Pediatrics, we continued to feel completely supported and cared for. Elliott, Meseret, Natasha, Sarah Black and Carmine — thank you for taking such amazing care of my son and for the kindness and reassurance you showed both of us during a stressful few days. Also, like to mention, Director David Le in Nutrition, he made a few special requests happen and in such a timely manner thank you so much! I’m so happy to say that he is finally doing better as of today, and I am incredibly grateful to everyone who played a part in getting him there. ❤️ The entire Pediatrics team at Good Samaritan Hospital deserves a huge kudos. I hope they know how much their compassion, patience, and dedication mean to the families they care for. We will never forget how well we were treated. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! ❤️

The care and staff at Mills-Peninsula Medical Center - ER are phenomenal. The ER team is incredible and all very attentive. Many people came to check in on me and were receptive to all my questions and requests for help. Dr. Sangoi and the huge team of RNs/nurse assistants (including but not limited to Joy, Nick, Sophia, Raquel, and many more that I cannot recall the names of) were extremely helpful and kind. Diablo Valley Drug and Alcohol Services in San Ramon, California, provides addiction recovery services for adults. They also offer specialized care if you have a co-occurring addiction and mental illness. They provide outpatient medical detox under the supervision of a qualified medical doctor. If you’re experiencing alcohol or opioid addiction,
Magnolia was highly recommended by my therapist, and I’m glad i listened to her. This place feels very homey, but at the same time it’s definitely high-end and has a lot of amenities that I don’t think you’d find at many other inpatient rehabs, like a theater room, jacuzzi, gym, resources, beautiful rooms. It’s also really beautiful and peaceful here, which has helped a lot during this process. The group therapy sessions are very intimate, and the people in group are genuinely non-judgmental. I work with Kristine, who has been amazing. Just graduated IOP and i feel confident with getting out there and working on my sobriety personally. Dr. Smeester (“Dan”) is great. He has a very warm and gentle presence, and it’s clear that he really cares about helping people who are struggling with addiction. He doesn’t judge. he listens carefully and accommodates any extra need you need. I had a great experience, and learned a lot. They provide aftercare for all graduates no matter when they graduated. I personally continue to attend aftercare every Wednesday, free of charge.

Working with Riviera Living has been an absolute pleasure for me. I have truly enjoyed leading wellness and movement sessions for the residents — their enthusiasm, openness, and warmth create such a beautiful energy in every class. It’s clear that Riviera Living fosters a supportive and uplifting environment, and I feel grateful to be part of it. What stands out most is how deeply the staff cares for their residents. Their dedication shows in everything they do — from thoughtfully organizing wellness activities to ensuring every resident feels included, seen, and supported. The team is always kind, responsive, and genuinely invested in creating a community that feels like home. Thank you, Riviera Living, for welcoming Earth & Ether into your space and allowing me to share movement, breathwork, and healing with such a wonderful group. My disabled but independent son has been at Riviera living for over a year now. Riviera has a medication room; Pedro is very good at making sure my son takes his medication twice a day. They re-order his medication when needed and have it mailed to the facility. They have a cafeteria that cooks really hearty homestyle meals three times a day and snacks in between. The housekeeper Susan is very aware of everyone that comes and goes. She cleans each room once a week and is like a Mom to the residents. One attendant- Elizabeth saved my son's life when she noticed he was acting strangely and followed him to his room where he had collapsed and was not breathing well. She called an ambulance. Overall, I think that the staff are very vigilant but overworked. I think that they should hire more attendants so there is always at least 2 at a time in each house, even at night. I think it would be better if they opened a cafeteria in each home so that the residents don't have to cross the street to get to the cafeteria. Also- it would be good if they could organize hair cut visits and pedicure visits because my son will not go on his own and cannot cut his toenails by himself. The laundry is down the street so it is inconvenient for the residents to do their own laundry.

I guess I forgot to leave a comment. I want to thank the staff at Palm for putting my recovery above everything. I had an insurance issue that I could see caused a lot of problems for the staff by the amount of time I spent with Jacky and the case manager in the office. No one complained or tried to kick me out. Jeff and Jacky went the extra mile to make sure I was able to stay and receive treatment. Jose had powerful groups! Heather thanks for the outdoor walks. Jackie thanks for allowing me to talk about my defects and deepening my spirituality ( so many people forget it’s a big part of who a person is) and helping me with the plan for when I left. Jeff the boss man and the med room staff I can’t thank you all enough!! Hands down the best service I’ve received. Thank you Palm.

So, I just left Palm treatment/detox center and wanted to leave a review while it’s fresh in my mind. To begin, when I was first getting checked in, a girl was on her way out literally crying with gratitude for how much this place saved her life. You could tell how genuine and appreciative she was. Super heart warming, so that was a good start. Pros to going to Palm Ave: -The staff is great, they genuinely care and all are in recovery themselves so they’re very empathetic. -It’s small, so if you’re someone who is anxious or nervous, don’t be. If I had to guess I’d say they can only hold up to about 15-20 at most and that’s a huge positive when you’re not at your best at don’t want to be around a hundred other people. -Food was very clean, healthy, and always available. -Meds are all taken care of for you, they’ll even pick up your prescriptions and make sure you get them on time, even if you’re asleep, they’re on top of it. -There’s really only one mandatory meeting (NA/AA) but several groups which are optional that I found really helpful and well led. -They don’t press you on where or when you need to be somewhere like other treatment centers do. If you need to sleep- you can sleep. Special shout out to Christian (who helped with meds, he always has good music playing and just a very positive vibe). Also, Tree. I spent ten minutes talking to this man and gained more perspective than I have in probably the last three years. Heather also, very chill and easy to talk to. These people really care. They’ve completely turned their lives around and some have come from really difficult pasts. It’s inspiring to hear their stories. Not to turn this into a novel but I’m just really stoked places like this exist- and free no less with medi-cal. To finish, if you’re struggling at all, just go for a few days. I only stayed a few days bc I had previously detoxed in a hospital but some stay much longer- the choice is yours. Thank you to everyone at Palm Ave. I won’t forget it.

Place is amazing!..Staff is amazing and they take the time to make sure that your doing okay. Not just a cursory.." Good Morning" or " Good Night" They actually take an interest in why your there and what they can do to make your stay as successful as possible. Classes are set up and offered throughout the day to ensure that you have some tools when you leave. There is medical on sight and a caseworker who jumps through hoops to make sure that each client has access to all the available resources in the county. They have a business model that is golden and should be mirrored by similiar businesses.

Efficient, on time, good nurses. Sterile cleaning of the wounds by Mike and attentive care for making the patient comfortable (gave me a pillow for my back). Good receptionist, Ann, will help you get another appointment the same day if you're late. She helped walk me to my car. I highly recommend them.

This is an outstanding program working concert with the main hospital. Smooth transition from inpatient at the main hospital to inpatient rehabilitation. The best rehabilitation program I have experienced in 50 years and 25 Surgeries. From beginning to end I felt welcomed and cared for. Every member of the staff was legitimately interested in my care and they really worked together. I never felt like a routine job to them. I was surprised at the level of communication and expertise. They told me at each stage what they were doing and why. I was given targets and goals, which were reasonable. They helped me get there. I have some vision impairment now and they have taught me how to work on my visual rehab. I felt much more secure and they explained to me what was happening to my vision and my brain. I have not seen a better approach. Skilled nursing facility does not even come close. Please fight for yourself and your family to come here instead of routine, skilled nursing. Those nurses can be great, but they do not have the training experience or time to make a difference. I was actually saying prayers of thanks today for being able to come here

I recently completed my 9 week program at The Camp - Campbell and I’m really grateful for the experience. It wasn’t always easy, but it was absolutely worth it. The support, structure, and accountability made a huge difference for me. A special thank you to Tim, the counselor — he was patient, understanding, and genuinely invested in everyone’s progress. His guidance and encouragement helped me stay focused and believe in the process. Truly a great guy! If you’re considering taking this step, I highly recommend it. It’s challenging, but it can truly help change your life.

The camp recovery center change my life !! Keith my IOP counselor helped me through a very hard time in my life and taught me healthy coping skills. From day one I felt supported and encouraged to work towards living a sober life style. Keith's group really helped me process my feelings and emotions and in turn taught me that there was a better way to live life free from substances. I was an angry and broken person when I entered the program and after serval months of the program I learned how to let things go and learned so many tools to dealing with my substance abuse issues. I can proudly say that I have 6months free from alcohol now and so much more happier and have a much more positive outlook on life now . Shout out to Keith for being so kind and compassionate! It's been a wonderful journey with the camp and Keith and the camp will always have a very special place in my heart !!Thank you once again Keith for everything !!

I absolutely loved SVR , it truly is recovery that feels like home ! That place taught me so much about myself I didn’t even know I had in me , the people there are amazing . Johnny is a really cool humble knowledgeable guy, he helped me through some tough times . Sam is an awesome fellow himself he always had a good spirit he took us to do several fun activities, we had a few talks and he’s just overall a good guy with good vibes. Thomas was the guy who picked me up from the airport and welcomed me and made me feel comfortable right away . The front staff is so nice here! They make everyone feel like family. My only gripe is the confusion just by calling and getting the information over the phone. However, I realized that is their system. They do everything in person. The only thing that is electronic is when they sign forms. A sense of trust has to be built with care relationships before care is established. So many wonderful, charming, and enthusiastic people that work here! I remember coming to the San Francisco location and I just asked a random janitor where to find the barber shop, and to my surprise, they have one! The fact that he knew and took the time to help my family veteran, was so endearing to us. They close super early and we weren't able to utilize this benefit regularly. Sighs. SHOUTOUT: RT team, podiatry gems, palliative care team (that held my hand during extreme difficulty) and PT. Oh yea, the best nurse ever and the doc you worked closely with our family. The meaningful connections we built our now timeless in my heart. Love you guys, always.

I was a patient here in the past. I got off 6 years ago. I found a drug called fentanyl. I became addicted and decided to return here to the Baart program. Tomorrow being Presidents day I found myself in fear. I wasn't sure if staff would be available for the intake process. I called the clinic number to be introduced to Thomas. 🦉He was so calming he immediately assed my needs. Updated my file set an appointment for me. I felt a lot better than before I spoke to Him. The fact that Thomas was there to answer my phone call means everything to me. I'm able to take the necessary steps to move forward. Had I called and a recording came on it would have been a whole different attitude with me during this time. A person on the other end of the line made my world a bright inviting place that I can have a part in. Moving forward on my journey of life. Thanks to the Entire Baart staff. Thank you Thomas for being there and for being who you are. T.L. D.🦋
