MOST of these negative reviews = DUMB AFThese are people that don t take responsibility for their health. No I don t work there but I see it all too often with other veterans. There are a small few that ignore their health and then blame the VA when it gets bad. It s sad but on a more positive note; McClellan Clinic makes it easy to stay on top of your health. It provides essentially a one stop shop for healthcare. The staff are friendly and helpful. It s basically a hospital but simplified with a more relaxed vibe. They even have a chiropractor and a shuttle service. Veterans are NOT the easiest population to care for, so I have to give credit where it s due. This place exceeds the standard and has my appreciation.

California recovery center literally saved my life. There are very few times In your life when you can say this with absolute conviction, and this is one of them. The Intake process was handled with absolute care and concern for my circumstance. The staff took care of my insurance and was able to get in the day after I made contact. I called other facilities and the first thing that they wanted to talk about was money, which was a huge turn off. CRC Isn t a giant facility with tons of people where you can get lost in the shuffle and that was exactly what I was looking for. All of the counselors at CRC Know what it s like to go through addiction and as a person trying to recover that made all the difference. It wasn t theory to them. Meals were prepared by an on-site chef who actually got me to eat my veggies Which is a miracle in itself. The senior staff were also wonderful In making sure everything ran smoothly. The facilities are comfortable, clean, and maintained Daily. The med staff are all Rockstars!! I could go on and on About what Crc did for me, but it wouldn t do them enough justice. When I contacted California Recovery Center what first caught my attention was how understanding and helpful Rachel was. She was the woman that assisted me with finding help for my mom. It s never easy being In the situation of getting help for yourself or others, so when it feels like a person wholeheartedly wants to help yourself and your family it makes all the difference. Diamond House Detox is absolutely an excellent and amazing recovery house and program! I have tried several different rehab facilities but Diamond House is by far the best! The staff are super friendly, knowledgeable and supportive. The curriculum and groups are very balanced and engaging. Diamond House has literally saved my life! The owner Vicky isn t just doing this for the money, she is also very compassionate about each and every patient. They also do art therapy, music therapy, meditation and sound bowls. A workout trainer come out five days a week to do cross fit, weightlifting, boxing, and yoga. They also have cinema therapy every Sunday and every Saturday they take us for an outing either bowling, dance class, pool tables and ping-pong and Equine therapy with horses. The food is so delicious with phenomenal chefs!I cannot give a more high recommendation for rehab than Diamond House! The alumni program is also wonderful with weekly Friday night speaker meetings and fun events every month like the sober bowl party , rollerskating, silent disco party And much more! If you need help with the disease of alcoholism and drug addiction, you need to go to Diamond House! They also have a fabulous PHP partial hospitalization and IOP intensive outpatient program. I've been going to this clinic for several years now. I love in Roseville and there is a clinic 5 mins from me. I love this clinic because of the counselors and person who work there. They listen to your problems and also talk with you concerning all your issues and what's on your mind. I started at Ageus it was a joke. The told me that they don't take in patients that are homeless or not dressed well, because it makes their clinic look bad. I was furious when I heard this. Today is my "clean date" and as of TODAY I have 1 year clean and sober. This Facility saved my life! I've made several attempts at sobriety before stepping into New Dawn, but none of them approached the disease of addiction like New Dawn. They have such a different approach at treating addiction. It’s hard to put into words the gratitude I have for Hotel California and its staff and treatment programs. It took me a couple tries, but I finally decided to participate and take the help I was being offered and in a month I will celebrate 4 years clean. The combination of substance abuse education, mental physical and emotional health therapy they provide is top tier. if it wasn t for by valley now, BAART METHADONE treatment I would be dead. Unfortunately, I ve had to stay on the treatment plan longer than I wanted to cause I started in 1996. But just in my many surgeries and severe osteoporosis and spinal problems. I m still in a lot of pain and this is the only thing that helps me. I like most of the people here. Especially like a receptionist.

After many years of trying to get sober I entered the New Dawn program In Orangevale in November of 2023 for alcoholism. And like many alcoholics, I had very little hope that I would ever be able to get sober and stay sober. My life was an absolute wreck and I was out of options. New Dawn was willing to take me in so I reluctantly went. From the moment I arrived I was welcomed in by compassionate and caring staff. During my stay I I took part in all of the classes that were lead by fantastic and well experienced counselors. The housing was great and felt like home with all the amenities after a short bit. With an in house chef I enjoyed every meal to the fullest. I tremendously benefited from the one on one therapy sessions and outside AA meetings. Every step of the way I was helped with my disease, internal pain and trauma. Today I have a life I never thought was possible with a loving relationship with myself , the world I live in and the people in it. I m an active member of AA and enjoy being sober and of sound mind. I highly recommend New Dawn to anyone seeking help or for your loved ones in need. I wouldn t be the man I am today or have the wonderful life I live without the fresh start I got from New Dawn treatment center.

After I got out of residential, I went straight to IOP . The support I received was amazing! Counselors took their time to get to know you and your situation . With the tools I learned in the recommendations of the counselors , I was ready to start a new life for myself. The whole New dawn experience literally saved my life! I did an intake on 8/16/23 & was unsure what to expect. The facility is very clean and homelike. I looked for every reason to leave and regain my freedom although I was not ready. My advice is to stay an follow through with the program it's a phenomenal program. Not to mention they feed the residents really well.

Overall pleasant excellent caring compassionate staff. Communication on appointments and reminders is excellent. I get a text and notice in the mail. Most complaints I read are from those not familiar with how VA healthcare works. The Auburn Clinic is not an urgent care facility.

The Pathway Program saved my daughter's life. She was completely out of control and abusing drugs and alcohol. She was getting in trouble and hanging out with the wrong crowd.The first time I brought her to the shop, all of the counselors and kids welcomed her with open arms. She instantly had clean and sober friends her age that she could relate to and have fun with. The kids hold each other accountable and are a huge support to each other. They are together almost every day and provide the vital friendship needed to succeed in recovery.The Pathway Program is not the typical outpatient program where you attend during the day, but then are alone at night and on the weekends. Two week nights a week the kids are together doing recovery related groups. On the weekends the kids do all kinds of different activities and learn how to have fun being sober in real life. This is part of the aftercare part of the program.There is an excellent parent support group once a week with parents that have been through it all. The parents are so supportive and I was able to call them anytime of the day or night with any questions. The counselors are extremely knowledgeable about addiction and connect with the kids extremely well. They were also available anytime to help with crisis situations and offer support.I feel so blessed to have been able to get my daughter the help she needed through The Pathway Program. It has changed both of our lives for the better and offered us hope for the future. I would highly recommend this program for any teens or young adults that are struggling with addiction.

We are so grateful to have found Pathways! When we finally realized our 17 year old daughter had a drug and alcohol problem we had no idea where to turn. There didn t seem to be many options for young people. We reached out to Pathways and found a welcoming program that instantly felt like family! It was a slow start for our daughter to want to be sober, but with the tools the program provided and the love and support of the group, she is almost 8 months clean and sober. Her entire outlook has changed. She s living her life from a place of honesty and being of service to others. She has like-minded friends in the program that support her in enthusiastic sobriety. We are so thankful to have found a place that helped her make these things happen!Another aspect of Pathways that we appreciate is the parent support group. This was key as it helped us to make the right moves to help our daughter heal and move forward. It provided support, tools, and encouragement.I wish every city had a great place like this for teens and young adults to heal and find happiness! If you are looking for a place to help your kid (and you) through the challenge of addiction this is it!
